Thas the message Fr. Pat had pretty much given errone tonite. We had a great first friday mass at yfc. Fr. Pat gave three stories, bout a lotus flower, St. Francis of Assisi and a guy name 'son.'Fr. Pat explained the importance of a what a lotus flower is/does. Well ill sum all three stories up by saying this, 'Were not called to be beautiful on the outside, were called to be beautiful on the inside.' So you don't get it still, were called so cry the gospel w/our actions not our words. As Fr. Pat explained and im sure most of us have heard this expression one time or another. 'Preach the gospel at all times, and if necessary use words.' -St. Francis of Assisi.

Tonite all over the US all these yfc commuites came together for a huge g4g event. Isnt that amazing, how all the yfcers in the 27 states that yfc all over the us came together for one purpose. THis quote speaks a lot bout trying to reach that goal of yfc in 50 states. THey may not be able to bring yfc to all 50 states at once, or at one time but with they can slowly achieve that goal w/love. Their actions will speak and cry out Christ's gospel. It was really d0pe seeing all them peoples again. In fact it felt like i was a democractic national convention and were coming together to gather to take back the white house. haha

Highlight of the day: I was reading one of my SRE students journals. The topic for last tues. was 'moment you felt closet to GOd.' Well the girl was talking bout how she gave up her lunch $$ as a donation to the victims of the fires. I was truly humbled by her generosity. As much as she didnt want to at first cuz thas all the $$ she said, she thought to herself 'wwjd.' How awesome is that!
