Check out my 'new friend' i made last nite! I'll get into that later though. Praise God for a busy, but productive day. I think i was able to get errthang done i wanted to get done too. These past few days of not having skool, ive been waking up early. Yesterday i woke up @ 9am, and i went online to check mail and do the usual blog reading. Now that my blogs are not in alphabetical order, it kinda throws me off.

So i went to the brea mall and i exchanged the shirt that therese and jason gave me. It was a little too big, it was an 'xl.'Then i walked around the mall seeing wha else i could find. Yet had not luck, so i decided to call up fr. paul and see if he wanted to go to lunch. I owed him lunch for all the favors he's done for me. I picked him up and went to asia buffet. Haha he had a lot of fun thurr, he got a grip of food. Praise God cuz he told me he was staying until next summer, he figured he mine as well stay until the augustians leave. Yay!!

Afterwards, we went to st. joseph's book sturr and i got a benedictine cross! WHat was tight was i had fr. with me so once i bought it, i had him bless it. Yesss! The advantage of having a priest with you! He even bought some stuff for his niece who lives in france. Apparently they dont sell english books in france. He got this really cool comic book on the mysteries of the rosary. Its a comic book that goes through all the mysteries of the rosary even the luminious!

Then after dropping fr. paul off, i went to mass. I was the daily mass altar server for the day. In fact i had to even help fr. kevin sell his 'word among us' books afterwards. Some guy started to talk to me in tagalog after mass and im like uhh. Then ate narizae told him that i dont understand tagalog. haha But i dont think he heard her cuz he said it again later on. After that i had rushed home and then went over to UCi for 'praisefest.'

It was a lot of fun, praise God for such a strong catholic college community. Liwanag's performance was pretty tight, they were making it happening by their live action songs. THey sang the 'prince of peace' song, which i totally love!! Thas a freakin tight song, i want to use it for the spirit games praisefest after the games. Thurrs a lot of praise & worship songs i wanna use for that nite. Like that one song 'the voice of one calling in the dessert.' I love that song!

The testmonies were really meaningful and stuck w/the theme. I mostly enjoyed kristel fama's cuz her's totally fit in w/the theme. How as much as she had gone through she was still offer forgiveness and hope. She knew God had already started the healing process, the only left thing to do was completely surrender it to him. It was very touching, and yet inspiring talk bout surrender and prayer. I finally was able to see the whole entire, 'let go, let God' skit. I thought it was really good!

I had met Jesus tonite in so many different people. I actually met Jesus in joe, who came down and was standing next to me during praise & worship. Errrone who i was sitting w/left, so i ended up being by myself. So during the beginning part of the 'fatty worship' he came down and stood next to me. Then i met Jesus through gerald who juss made me laugh, which non senese 'lyrical rhymes.' I saw Jesus through fake girlfriend who checked up to see how i was doing. Lastly, i met Jesus through UCI YFC and joyce, dee, fake girlfriend, and francia who were the left over logs after the praisefest was over.

Im blessed ot be part of a great strong ministry like YFC, especially at uci. Despite the fact i may not go to the skool, i feel like that place is one my other 'home away from homes.' The people thurr are great, so full of energy and so on fire to serve God. Its a blessing to call them my friends, cuz they have helped me out in one way or another. Honestly, im sure anyone can attest that Jesus is truly present through them.

We had gone to norms afterwurdds and i made a new friend! Her name is eliza! So meet eliza errone! She sat w/tonz, randell, and i last nite at norms. We made up nicknames for each other, so we call each other 'new friend.' It was crazy so her and i went to the bafroom to wash our hands etc. The funny part was we bof came out of the bafroom at the same time!
Anyway, she's one kool kat, definetly one yfcer you want to meet.

Oh yeah i also met Jesus through 'shelly.' Shelly was nice enough to bring me to my car this past week when i was too tired to walk back. I think ive gotten a grip of excercise walking up and down the ring road. The ring road reminds me of the yellow brick road, only its not yellow and not brick. THough its a great place to get your excercise, im sure you could loose lots of weight jogging up and down that errday.

So praise God for YFC for a great praisefest. Praise God for making new friends such as eliza. Praise God for reflecting back on the past w/ol friends. Randeez, tonz, and i were remembering when we first met each other. "REmember when!" if you know me, you know i like to bring up the past and remember the good and yes the bad times. The fun part is juss being ablet to laugh bout it. Ahh yes the joy of friendship. Anyway back ot 'shelly,' despite the fact of her 'ghett0ness' and her little 'mic' attached to the vent, she's tiiiiiiiiiight! Ha tonz knows wha im saying. Thanks tonz for intro. me to shelly, i love her! Cant wait to see the new her!
