Oh Why?!

NOT WORTH IT: Okay, I found out that ryan will be the one leaving the show on wed. Oh why?! I hope melody didnt get kicked off either, then it would really suck for the bof of them. In fact it juss wont be worth watching anymore. I guess his fans really didnt listen to him and didn't vote for the guy. Hm however I'm sure he probably misses having a regular routine and being able to see his friends and wha not. Oh well, looks like I won't be taping it anymore. Ahh! Ha I still can't believe he didnt get a lot of votes! Agh

SO MUCH TO DO: I have so much stuff to do between now and next couple of weeks. Could september have been anymore busier?! With Spirit Games stuff, Holy Famiily stuff, work stuff...ahh the stuff never ends. A lot of it is slowing coming together praise God, I'll be cool once the end of the month is here. Man by the time I get a chance to look back, October will be here again. It sure is going to be a september to remember, not one weekend in my calendar is free.

BACK TO CLASS: I will be teaching SRE again this year @ sPv, both tues. and thurs. nites again. Im excited though to be able to get the opportunity to work with a brand new set of kids, to try and be able to plant new seeds in new souls. Im anxious to see who's in my class and how many kids I'm going ot have this year. Last year I had freakin almost 30 kids, thas like carrying 30 crosses! ha Well thursday nite, was a lot more chill, with only 12 kids. We'll see wha this new year has in store for us. Confirmation II and Eucharist I...praise God.

ROSES: The mayor's funeral service was thurs. and the old pastor from St. Polycarp came down to do the interfaith service. There were a lot of left over roses from the funeral, so I took them home. I think theyre one of the most beautiful flowers cuz it symbolizes so much. I love putting roses on my altar in my room, it juss makes it look better ha. Anyway, I had to go to santa ana on thurs. to drop off this flower set to the old pastor from st. polycarp. Beautiful church, I was looking for the blessed sacarment and I couldnt find it then I realized it mustve been behind the altar. Said a small prayer then tried to rush back, so I wouldnt get in trouble for taking too long. Turns out when I got back all my bosses were gone! WooO! Which made the rest of the work really easy!

EMILY ROSE: Like errone, I ended up watching the movie 'The exorcism of emily rose' last nite. Maan was it crowded in there, people were saving seats like crazy. THe movie was a lot different then I expected. Most of the movie is based inside the courtroom, in the present time. THen erronce in a while they would show flashbacks of emily and the exocrism. A lot to be said bout the movie, and how she lived the end of her life. I mean for her to be given the choice to leave her mortal flesh and go directly to heaven or stay with the suffering and end up dying...wow talk bout offering up yourself as a sacrifice! I wasnt too skurred, I went home looking to read the real story. At the same time I think I was expecting a lot more, being it was hyped up so much. Oh well, it was still pretty cool.

HOLY FAMILY DAYS: As of lately, I feel I've been working full time at holy family. I've been putting in my time helping out with the youf group. It's a really cool group of people, that I enjoy being around. Im pretty excited for their jam nite and I think they're excited too being this is their first event. Hopefully a lot of people will come out and show their support. Then the huge youf rally coming up in 2 weeks. Being there I've gotten the chance to get to know a lot of them better. Not only that, it's cool working with mark anthony again. Last nite we all went out to eat then watched emily rose, wow we pretty much took a whole row. Oh yeah, I saw arisa too last nite at the theatre, haven't seen her in years!
Its juss cool being able to serve in a parish setting today. Ran into Fr. Johnny, the pastor at the office yesterday. I had intro. myself to him and told him I was from how. He told me he's been hearing some good things bout our evening of songs and prayers. Then Mark Anthony and I ran into the liturgy cooridnatory today and he had intro. me to her and she said to me, 'I've been hearing some nice things about HOW' Praise God for new changes.

GIFTS: Its amazing the different talents people have been blessed with. Some the gift of dancing, to others the gift of singing, whatever it is, its cool watching them expose those talents. I was watching some of the kids rehearase for the jam night. There was this guy who was doing this whole glow stick thing it was so hardcore! I had recorded it on my phone and it was like whoa! I overheard him saying that tomorrow he was going to try and use 5 glowsticks instead of two. Sheesh. Then there was this other girl singing 'get on my knee's' her voice was so freakin great! Then the musicians playing and offering it all up to God. Quite amazing I must say, all that music has worn me out.

CHALLENGES AHEAD: God defiently has made spirit games a challenge once again this year. For some reason we all thought it would come much easier this year. THough, that wasn't the case, there definietely been some rought spots in the road. In fact, there are still a lot more pot holes in the road, that still need to patch up. Then finding out today about the bind I am in...ah not good. It really sucks cuz well, I'm stuck. Ill juss continue to offer up to God, and I know he'll provide...On a more brighter side, today we spent the day practicing the games nad playing them. Im excited for the day to come, after all the trials we went thorugh to see the fruits come out of it. On top of that its going ot be great to see errone again. I like it how at communities look forward to seeing each other not only at youf rally but now at spirit games.
