READ ACROSS: Thursday was read across america, you know the day where celebrate dr. seuss' birfday. I remember back in hs, the skool district made those 'read' posters, you know where they had some inspirational message to read w/a celeberitys pics on it? Ha well the district made some and distributed them to the skool to put student's faces on them. I got to do one, it was pretty cool. ha ANyway, so I got to read in another first grade class that day, which was fun. I like to see different classrooms and how teachers run it. I had read this book bout how crayons were made. Wasnt exactly my type of story, cuz it was handed to me to read, but it was real interesting. One kid raised his hand and shared w/me how he watched 'house of wax.' ha 'Grrreaaaaat' I thought to myself. ha

EAT OUT: Thursdays are go out to lunch days at work. Last week it was cool cuz I was invited to go out to lunch w/the other grade level teachers. So last week we went to el polo loco and this week we had gone to subway. Im glad that I dont ahve to be a loner at work during lunch ha. Its nice to have someone to talk to. So there's this sub who's subbed before in the past, when I walked into the lounge and saw her, I thought 'oh why?!' ha I know its mean, but shes one of those people who like to talk a lot, and think they knwo it all. It kinda begins to get annoying after a while. Like for ash wed. she went off on this whole topic bout how her brother in catholic skool got these huge black ashes on their foreheads blah blah blah isnt you juss abstain from red meat she asked me. Ahhhh good thing shes only a sub, sheesh I dont know if Id be able to stand a whole lunch period w/her errday.

BIRFDAY SHOUT OUT: THe march madness of birfdays continue, with ms. dj pon de replay. We didnt really begin to get close until december. I came up w/her nickname after that song ha pon de replay, since her last name is de jesus ha Anyway, so we've had some real interesting convos bout a variety of things, life, relationships, people, etc. She has a real interesting perspective on a whole bunch of things. Though the unique thing bout her personality, is well she can be real blunt ha. Never the less, she's a one heck of a cool person to talk to and get to know. She also loves to bring her little camera errwhurr like me! So, Ms. dj pon de replay, wishing all the best w/1000 more to come.

FRIDAY: After a long day of work, I met up w/fred, mel, joanne, reirich, kartina, and jay for some fun at fridays. The thing that sucks bout working on friday evenings, imma end up missing out on the stations of the cross. Usually, erryear I go w/my mom, aunt, and grandma and we do the stations of the cross. WEll I guess my mom went and she didnt like it cuz it was completely different then before. Now they combine the spanish and english stations of the cross. So I guess now they're gonna do it on their own on fridays. SpV juss isnt the same anymore....anyway, so fridays was fun, food, drinks, and friends ha wha more could you ask for on a friday nite?

FINGERPRINTING: Saturday was juss one really long day. Maybe thas why my immune system is feeling so weak as of lately. Went to highland park to get fingerprinted at st. ignatious of loyola church. The drive was crazy cuz theres like only 3 lanes on that freeway. Then we missed the exit had to go back on the freeway oh man. We made it barely on time to get the fingerprinting. Then mine took forever cuz of my fingers were all worn out from I guess dealing w/a lot of paper? We wanted to get into the church but it was locked agh! THough I really wanted to see wha the church looked like. Went around and I found a door open and I went through it, ha turned out to be the sacristy door. From there I opened it up and let errone in so we can pray. Beautiful church inside, pretty old fashioned but the stain glass windows were cool. They had a picture of a saint then a families name under it. Thas the wonderful thing bout being catholic, knowing taht you can always feel at home, even if it may not be your parish.

STUFFED: Afterwards we came back to stuff the bulletins for the anniversary flier. There's this young couple who was getting married at the same time. I watched from the side inside the sacristy, seeing the two take that vow to be faithful to each other and help each other grow to become better people. It was real nice, then I got to the ring the church bell after the ceremony was over. Weddings are so wonderful, especially when the two walk over to the statue of the Blessed Virgin asking for her to pray for them. I wonder where their reception was going to be at, I was looking in the pews for their program but I guess they didnt make any.

ART MALL: The fun didnt stop there, ha nico, toni, and I went to the art mall to go to urban. I had to pick up a gift for elizabeth's birfday on thursday. Ran into my cousin who was at work holding the fort on his magazine stand. Man so many things I wanted at urban, especially cuz they have one of my favorite brands there, 'triple 5 soul.' Unfortunately, this urban didnt have any triple 5 soul items on discount. Picked up that, then drove back to cerritos to drop errone off then went home to rest. It felt so good to take a nap especially cuz my eyes were starting to hurt. Needed to reboost myself for bjs later on that nite.

STILL GOING: The party continued w/toni, mel, and I at bjs in brea. I actually kinda like that one better, well the bar area at least. Its a little more crowded, but it looks like there's more tables in that area. THen afterwards jay and mark caleb came by also, so more fun. THough by that time my body was already exhausted. There was this one guy who was serving us who had an intereting tattoo on his neck. The three of us were trying to kinda figure it out ha I think it was like a spiderweb or something. ANyway, it was one draining day.

RUN IN: After mass went to babiess r us to get a last min. gift for the baby shower. Man that place is confusing, I had the hardest time looking for things. Well funny thing is, as I was waiting in at the registry, there was aubie and minnie. So they saved me the hassle of having to print out the list of things not to get. Same time I see this guy who I had gone to hs with there also. In fact I haven't seen him since I had graduated. Crazy. He comes up to me says wassup, small talk the usual tells me he's in the service now. After going through the store, I get the gift and now the hard part is figuring out how to wrap the thing. FInally got that done, then it was off the moyas!

BABY SHOWER: Normally, guys dont really go to baby showers cuz it's a girl thing but yesterday was fun. It felt like ol times, seeing errone again. Had a nice chit chats w/various people from tito tom and tita cora, sharing my 'ryan' story with jennif and dave, if only I was feeling a little better, so I couldve gone into more detail, sharing how God provided me out of stanton w/jesty. For some reason I thought the party started @ 2pm, good thing I went right after babies r us. The games were fun, I only played 2.5 though, errone tried tricking me so they could steal my clothes pin. I caught tita cora saying it twice while I was having her place her bet on when the baby would come. Went around w/the clipboard having people place their bets and on wha time and wha sex the baby would be. Im hoping that I win, so I take the $100! haha By the end of the day I was so physically exhausted and drained. My sinuses kill me when they act up.

SUCKED: During mass when the homily started I was starting to write it down as usual. Well the stupid pen was even working! I was so mad cuz the bishop was saying a lot of good things. He was sharing bout exaltation on the cross, that if anyone wishes to exalt themselves, they should exalt themselves on the cross. Maybe this was God's way of trying to tell me to pay attention and juss listen. Kinda do that one activity Fr. Ed was sharing w/us on tues. Listen and abosrb wha is being said. Its juss good having a reference to come back too later on. Bible diaries are one great creation!
