The Cup is Already Full

GONE GOING: My parents left yesterday to go to arizona, yeah the dessert state. Ive gone there once and it wasn't the most exciting trip, I'll tell you that. They went to go visit my uncle and his friend who goes out there every year, to pan for gold. Yeah, I know sounds funny ha but its true! ANd you thought panning for gold and the gold rush thing was extinct! ha! HAving a camper has become more convient than I had expected it to be. Its a good place to put visitors ha when there isnt enough room in the house. Yeah they took the camper out there and made their own little road trip. Its nice having a whole house to yourself for a little bit at least.

BIRFDAY SHOUT OUT: A very special birfday shout out going to lyn lyn. This person has such a beautiful soul inside and out. ALways willing there to help out when she can, always willing to give. Her warm heart reflects the love of God, that you cant help to see the face of Christ through her. Not only her kind words, but always there to listen. I remember that one time she came out and helped teach my kids at work polynesian dancing. Which hepled landed her a job w/me at stanton as well yay! Anyway, praise God for such a awesome friend!

EXCITED: On monday, were having this half day retreat for the youf min. on monday. Im so excited to grow w/these kids and share the different things I've learned about my catholic faith with them. The theme is 'Here I am Lord,' remembering and reflecting that first time we were called. THe first time we fell in love God, the first time we were touched, that very first moment. Because it really is out first that you never really forget. The first kiss you ever had, you first heart break etc. Your firsts are the memories we always hold on to and never forget. So the whole thrust to recall that first moment you fell in love w/God and come back to that moment to help you in your call to service.

AO1 CONCERT: THe Ao1 concert was really good last nite, wow there was such a conviction I felt. Even though I came at the tail end of the concert, it was still exactly what I needed. After I got off work, I kinda doubted to go since errone else kinda flaked out on going. Praise God that I went though cuz it was refreshing. The group collectively and individually is so talented that's amazing. It helped put a lot of different things in perspective for me, it was juss as good as spending time in the blessed sacrament. There's been a lot of different things I've been struggling with as of lately, people and others probably cuz of lack of prayer, but last nite was great. On top of that catching up w/ol uciers too, couldnt of been a better way to spend a friday nite.

PRAYER: Blessed Teresa once said, 'How do we learn how to pray? By praying.' I had this really good convo. last nite with joyce bout contemplative prayer. Its weird how people ask you or tell you how to pray. When you're use to praying a certain way how do you pray differently? How do you pray? By praying...when you're touched by the holy spirit, you're touched, and you follow the flow of the spirit. You cant tell the spirit to stop moving in you or to kick back a little bit. When the spirit is flowing, then it's going to let it flow. Another great convo I had was w/angie that nite bout growth, spiritual warfare etc. I miss convos like that w/great leaders of the different communities. Man I've been so mia this past year. Praise God for a nite of growth and prayer.
