God of life, there are days when the burdens we carry chafe our shoulders and wear us down; when the road seems dreary and endless, the skies gray and threatneing; when our lives have no music in them and our hearts are lonely, and our souls have lost their courage. Flood the path with light, we beseech you; turn our eyes to where the skies are full of promise. For O Lord our hearts are restless, until they rest in you...Amen. TOday was pretty coo day, well the later part at least. Went to mass, im still working on trying to go errday. I usually end up going at least 3-4 times during the week. Almost there, im juss asking Mama Mary to give me that extra push. Ive been thinking as of lately wha fr. paul had said last week in his homily bout being a christian. He said being a christian isnt living a content life, isnt living a comfortable life. ONe asks why? Well because Jesus never lived a comfortable life. He was mocked, criticized, hurt, betrayed, yet still did the will of his Father. BEing a christian is living a life full of challenges and hurdles. Being able to go over each little speed bump God gives us.

Through God's grace and mercy we are able to slowly go over those speed bumps. Sometimes its really difficult other times its real simple. Yet one thing is important to look back on those challenges God has given you and praise God for them. Praise God for the suffering cuz it all worked out for something better. Majority of the time we dont understand why we have to go through it, yet when its all over and done with it makes sense. Kinda how God was asking jonah to do in the reading today. If we allow ourselves and hearts to be open to the will God then thas when God will be able to work wonders inside of us.

Really coo things happened today, well i was at the library today searching for the book, 'HOles.' Well i looked it up in the comp and it said one copy in status. So i looked and looked and i couldnt find it. I asked the librarian for help and she looked it up in teh comp. and looked errwhurr and couldnt find it either. The library director comes and helps me as well. Again he searched for it and was looking and didnt seem to find it either. Finally, i stopped and i prayed, asking for St. Anthony's intercession to help find the book. Right after i finished praying, low and behold was 'Holes.' I laughed to myself and then said, 'thanks St. Anthony!' That was cool so it totally made my day.

The kids today decided they want to play, 'the wade roboson show.' SO i turned off the lights and turned up the colorful stage lights. I took out the radio and picked out the contestants, dj icon, boogie and wade. It was funny, they had a good time with it. I was picked to be a judge, one of the kids said i was 'Christ Judd.' haha During the 'freetyle' dancing period one of the kids was busting out all these funny 'break dancing' moves. Well they werent real breakdacning moves but it was funny cuz he was spinning all over the floor. Then when it came to the 'routine' dance, the girl who was wade busted out w/this whole dance routine. It was fun, i had fun doing it with them. The girl who was dj icon totally pretended to be a dj. Kids are funny, they can totally make you forget errthang else and put the happiest smile on your face. Truly they are great gifts God sends me!

Weird thing happened while on AIM tonite at work. I get this random IM from a sn, 'vietboy2oo3.' UNfortuanately i cant post the IM convo cuz well i was on AIM express. So he says, 'hi how are you.' He goes on to say im kent and i friendster messaged you a couple days ago. I thoguth at first it mightve been that random guy who asked to be my friends, but it wasnt. HE asked wha my friendster name was, i said, 'big isda.' He goes big isda? im like yeah then he goes to ask a really weird question that totally weired me out.

HE said whas your 'ASL?!' i said wha?! i said are you sure you got the right person. Then he goes to say that i friendstered messaged him a couple days ago. I said im sorry but i didnt friendster you anything. iasked how he got my sn and wha not he goes cuz you friendster messaged me i told you! I could tell he was getting frustrated. So he asks again insisting to get my 'ASL.' i said im sorry i dont disclose that kind of information. HE got upset and was like whatever yeah right nevermind. I said ha this must be some kind of joke cuz well now the stories changing. Then he said he mustve got the wrong person cuz he doesnt remember big isda he was like sheesh sorry. That was pretty skurry...

Tonite i was helping gail w/her english, like giving her an 'ESL' lesson. I was returning the favor after she gave me a really d0pe medtiation activity to do w/my SRE kids. So we practiced w/big words, small word and complex sentences. She did pretty well for our first lesson. I told her to keep practicing and dont get let down. Good Job Gail! haha YFc was fun tonite, i was able to make it for the praise & worship part of the meeting. IT was pretty big but i think it got smaller then last week. Fred joined up w/me tonite also. SO many things going on this weekend. ahh! It beats being bored at home though. Good times, good times! Yfc people are fun.
