Dissapointed
"It is no use walking anywhere to preach unless our walking is our preaching..."
I found myself really dissapointed in something I found out the other day. I didnt pay too much attention to it or dwell over it that much when I first found out. Then today, it was brought to my attention again and so it was like thas whack. You know wha I love bout yfc-uci? Is that they really make an effort to reach out and invite people to chill w/them. Whether its official yfc activities or not, they still make it an effort to do that. Thas one of the things I admire them for, thurr true hospitality. I remember mark anthony use to invite me, and he still does to whatever they were doing.
For example right after conference, that sunday he called me and asked if I wanted to go w/them to this yfc after purty. It was pretty crazy cuz the call was random. Hmm then randell while talking to him online last week he had invited me to go w/them to haunt. I thought that was coo, it made me feel welcome. So I guess it goes to show the importance of hospitality. It sucks when expectations turn into dissapointments. Though thas juss purt of life, it God's way of reminding us not to 'go all in' with w/others. Yet go 'all in' with Him and Him alone.
Today was a pretty chill day, I cant believe I slept in till almost 11am. Helped my dad erronce in a while fixing up the bafroom. Did some cleaning around the house, read a little bit from my gift of faith book. I still need to post all the stuff I've learned in the past couple of chapters. It's really good! Wow I'm slowly learning juss wha it means to have such faith. Its been a rough week, full of trials, dissapointments, realizations, and more. Praise God though for his grace, which I constantly have to remind myself. His grace is sufficient for me. I miss listening to that song eternally yours.
CLP was pretty good tonite, I cant seem to find my name tag. I dont know wha happened to it. It seems like a lot of people whurr absent tonite. Georgia gave a good talk bout importance of family and having a Christ-centered family. I talked bout in my group importance of praying together as a family. We should try and model after the 'Holy Family' cuz they're a perfect example of a true christian family. Then I shurred the whole, 'the family that prays together, stays together.' Then eleanor gave a good talk bout who the Holy Spirit is and went into the description of the baptism of the holy spirit. I thought her analogy on more than words and the gift of tounges was good. To me, this isnt the easiest talk to give and I'm extremely picky over how its delieverd. Eleanor and I were talking bout it afterwhurrds how you dont want to overwhelm them nor scurr them yet you dont want to compromise either the importance of the gifts.
WEnt to go watch teh grudge w/fred at krikorian tonite. I kinda sturrted to get sleepy cuz some purrts whurr juss too slow. One thing bout japanese directed movies is that thurrs no freakin ending! It leaves you like 'uhh whas gonna happen now?' Juss like the movie the ring! Agh! I hate those kinda movies. Saw was a lot better, though the grudge had some pretty creepy purrtts to it also. Juss the thought of her face was pretty creepy. I skurred calvin last nite before he went to bed as I embedded images from the movie saw into his mind. ha! He got tricked yess! aha isda 1 calvin 0! haha
Thas it for now, I got stupid work tomorrow @ 2pm. Agh! Hopefully this week will be a better week, its been a while since I've had a stupid kinda week. I sturrtted the consecration to Mary prayers too last nite. So I must start day three of the prayers before going ot bed! Oh I found this on eleanor's xanga, ha thought it was pretty funny...im sure many of you may relate. Have fun! haha
