A Sad, Sad, Sad, Day

America has chosen to live 4 mo yurrs of lay offs, less jobs, a jacked up economny, a president who serves to the rich, one who is impulsive and all in all whack! On top of all that we have republican controlled senate and house, all thas left to say is 'oh why?! oh why?!' :sigh: on a side more positive note, at least thurr was a record turn out w/voting this yurr. Its good to see that young people and more people are seeing the importance of our govt. That they're paying attention to politics and whas going in the world today. Maybe will see clinton again in 08? no?

The month of november has begun with 1000 birfdays we have going on. I was writing on my calendar at work errone's birfday. Then I had to input them into my phone so I can be reminded! Today is babyvee's 20th birfday! I remember when I was 20 two yurrs ago and I went w/her to her prom. ha that was a lot of fun, doing though prom thing. The place they had was pretty tight. Meeting her friends and then eating, dancing, eating. Anyway, babyvee is one of those people who really know how to brighten up your day when youre down. She's one of a kind, she's swe3t, really friendly, all around one hella d0pe person. Besides that she hooks it up w/the juice it ups! haha jk So hurr you go babyvee, churrs to you! May God continue to shed his love and light upon you, leaving you to be reflection of his love!

I'm going ot be giving a talk/game tonite @ yfc on Mary and the Saints. Please pray for me and the souls that I'll be administering to. Big ups to banne for giving me the idea to put it together. Yay! Actually, while I was putting the game together, I learned a lot myself on the different saints. In fact it helped me remember some of the important things they are remembered for, I juss gotta do some final touch ups before leaving tonite. At any rate, like I said, please pray for me that I may used as His instrument. Praise God for yfc giving me this opportunity to shurr w/them the lives of the Saints and Mary.

For some reason yesterday, I juss felt really sleepy all day. Maybe it was the whole tenseness of the election. During the movie, I was starting to fall asleep ha I had to get up and buy myself something to drink to keep me awake. Then the kids were being oa yesterday, agh they were irritating me. Its days like that whurr I can get so frustrated. Check it, one of them asked if they could leave to get water. WEll let me back up, on tuesdays we watch movies, and they get free snack(chips and juice). My policy is, if you come for the movie and you get snack then youre obligated to stay til the very end of the movie or until 5pm(whichever comes first). They all tried to take advantage of it yesterday, doing wha they could to leave early.

Well thurr was this one kid who asked to get water at the fountain. I told him yeah thas fine, come right back. After a while, it occurred to me that he wasnt back yet. I go out to lobby area and see he wasnt thurr. Ha I then realized he went back across the street to the club. I run over to the club and I chase that foo down. He see's me and tries to go in a different direction, only leading to a dead end! So I catch up scold him for trying to leave #1, and then #2 trying ot run from me. On the way back he sturrts complaining to me and whinning blah blah blah. After that incident, it juss killed the mood.

Then a couple others tried to leave early, telling me they had choir blah blah. I told them no, they know the rules and this is wha gets me. They insist on arguing w/you after they know I'm not gonna give in. Though they insisit on having it thurr way...oh man! So then the other kid, I made him clean up at the end of the movie and he tries to get smurt w/me talking back. He looks at the dvd player and says, 'you guys have a weak dvd player.' Then I said, I dont curr, and for that you get to clean up after the movies for the rest of the week. Ha! I really dont understand thurr mentality sometimes, they think they could get away from me.

Went to an confirmation sre meeting last nite. Wow thurrs a lot of things that they want or are planning on doing between now and may. I need to sturrt being a lot more harder on the ones who arent going to mass. Sandy told me if thurr not going to mass on a weekly basis, then she wants them out of the program. Which only makes sense, cuz why recieve the sacraments if youre going to mass? Yet I know its not all thurr fault cuz thurr parents work blah blah blah. One of my kids I was reading in one of her journals, how she wakes up her parents now to make sure they go to mass. Praise God! It goes to show her dedication and her hunger to want to go mass and wnat ot make the sacraments.

Also at the same time, were gonna try to do different types of activities w/them. Well the confirmation II program at least, so thurr not inside the classroom all the time. I brought up the firestorm activity that I had done @ YFc before. They liked but whurr juss worried that some kids might light others kid's hair on fire. Were gonna also try to get some apologetics speakers like jesse romero and maybe alex jones to talk them. That'd be cool fo them to hear people like that. Who was I telling this too, I forgot but I was saying, after may imma be sad. My kids are gonna be gone...

I was searching through myspace and I found one this girl I went to jr. high with. ITs crazy cuz she's murried now! Anyway, after I added her she left me a message saying it was great that she found me. Its crazy all the people you find on things like that. Its really cool though when you find someone who you havent seen in ages. My homecoming is tomorrow nite, im debating still whether I want to go. I havent gone in like two yurrs, we'll see how I feel. I love how fast the dsl is working right now! yaY!!!
