Baby Its Cold Outside...

So once again this yurr, I didnt get to go to silverado days. After core yesterday we were gonna go but then it sturrted to drizzle, yeah fo shizzle, so we had to cross that idea out. Anyway, it the cold aurr and the rain was real nice yesterday. Its nice to see that coldness of fall is sturrting to keek in now. I love dressing all warm in sweaters and jackets. I like dressing up, but dressing up casually ha. Like juss long sleeve shirts and cargos or jeans is fun. THough formally and semi formal dress up is fun too erronce in a while...actually depending on the occassion. Three day work week for me! yess! I took tomorrow off, to help get stuff ready for the anniversary. Speaking on jobs, a shout out to mike TM for landing a full time position @ Agile 360.
Went to mass @ 1215pm yesterday and a couple of things. Actually a little more than juss a couple of items, more less like three or four. First thing, I saw one of my students thurr yesterday and I guess I was a little dissapointed by his reverence in the mass. Well maybe I shouldnt of expected too much. Second point, well this is one of the reasons I dont like going to 1215pm mass sometimes. Well we all know how crowded that mass is as is. Then they have ushers who when they see the pew is already crowded they go in tyr to fit someone else in thurr. Agh! Third point, fr. paul had a really great homily bout prayer, well the theme of the readings being preseverance in prayer.
A point that he made that was d0pe, was he said, 'prayer is not solving problems' However, Jesus gives us the strength to encounter our problems through prayer. Which I thought was d0pe, cuz many people tend to think prayer is a solution to answering all your problems. Its really not, we dont pray juss so God will answer & solver all our problems. Fr. went on to mention that we should never expect gratification in prayer. We need to trust in God and be open to his plans for us. And when whurr dry, spiritually and we cant/dont want to pray we offer it up. He said, our relationship w/God is not a democracy, its either we do his will or we stop being christian. Wow...thas pretty strong! DO we want to be obidient and do God's will or do our own? Prayer isnt about us, its bout hearing GOd's word.
Then the grand finale...we must discipline our hearts and mind to an image of God. We need to act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with God. If we really say we are children of God, how much more are we going to be obidient to him. We must have an openess to what God wants of us. We must go through a good friday in our lives, which is a challenge for us. If we want to do God's will, then we know what we must do. Praise God for great homilies!
Went to the mac grill for our 2nd to last core meeting, to plan out the stuff for the anniversary. It was coo cuz errone was thurr, so fun times! Dining w/red wine and pasta yum! Then taking pics w/the waitresses! ha I was challened to ask one of the hostesses/servers to take a pic w/me. Agh as relunctant as I was, I did it anyway. Then freakin jay said outloud to her, that I was hurr visiting from korea. Agh stupid! We ended up learning later on that it was leslie's friend's sister. Afterwurrds walked around the towne center got some sturrbucks and juice it up.
Came home changed and it was juss relaxing the cold aurr, warm clothes, and bed. Agh then alaine kept calling me agH! Ha after the last call, I juss turned off my phone! hahaha THen jay calls me and wants to go watch team america @ the block. So mike, jay, and I went to watch team america at the block. It was a pretty funny, actually I didnt expect the movie to be the way it was, but it was funny. OH yeah at the cerritos towne center, I saw jill from liwanag thurr. She was picking up her drinking from sturrbucks and walking outside. I didnt even recgonize her, until reirich pointed it out who she was.
