Let the Good Times Roll...

"He who has undertaken the governing of souls must prepare himself to render to God an account of them..."

In other words, when God puts souls in our hands, we are accountable for them. Meaning God holds us accountable for them to lead them and direct them on the right path. Sounds kinda skurry, yet at the same time its keeps us in check making sure we do the right thing. As I was reading that, I can imagine all the souls God's going to hold me accountable for. From all the yurrs teaching SRE, to LSS', and errthang else. PRaise God though for accountablity, how else would we keep ourselves in check?

The other nite, I had gone to Mike G's housewarming purrty. He bought a nursing home and planned on opening his own business. As I was roaming around the house taking my own personal tour, I got a little freaked out for a min. Well in each bedroom thurr two single beds, and its like umm a 3-bedroom house I think. ANyway, looking at each room reminded me back waay long ago during the hale bop comet(i think thas wha it was called.) That one cult that was back in 97, and they all committ suicide, thinking this comet was a sign that it was time to go and they were gonna be lead to heaven. So wha they ended up doing was drinking this poision and then putting these purple triangle linen sheets over themselves. So all you saw was the purple triangle sheet over thur bodies w/the black nike shoes. If you see the house then you'll know wha I mean.

So then I was asked to bless the food and all the titas thurr ended up calling me fr. jason...oh why?! Thurr was a massive amount of good food thurr...these lumpia wraps that I've never seen or tried. At any rate, I had a really nice convo w/jeanne in regards to skool and stuff. For me jeanne is one of those people that even though we may not talk as much, whenever we catch up its not all awkward, like uh uh wha do we say? I always enjoy people like that, then you know the friendship is real. I really appreciated the advice she gave me and errthang like that.

Then saturday was the clp, randy and kuya ariel gave two of the most probably difficult talks in the whole clp. God's love and who is Jesus Christ superstar? err I mean who is Jesus Christ? ha Even though randy's talk ran 15 min. longer then it was suppose to, I was really convicted during one purrt of his talk. He talked bout surrenderance through I think this is wha he used, 'altar call.' Something to think bout from now on before you recieve communion. As you stand in line and wait your turn to recieve Jesus, w/each step you take, you surrender something to Him on that altar. 'Lord, I give you my anger, Lord I give you my impatience, Lord I give you my sufferings, etc. etc.' So by the time you reach your turn for communion, you and Jesus make a switch. You surrender errthang to and he gives you his life, his body and blood, soul and divinity. Wow...something im going to tell my class bout tonite.

Last nite we had our first new re-structured SFC household. Actually, I'm going ot like it cuz I know all the guys in it, pretty well. Its kinda funny cuz its half YFC and half SH. RoOoOoLllll calll...reirich, fred, mike g., celestino, jay, mark anthony, myself, this other guy john and the head jordan. It was real fun times last nite during our fellowship dinner. We celebrated mike's birfday over thurr and they brought him this regular sized cake from red ribbon! haah thas crazy I didnt know fridays had those type of cakes! haha Good times though last nite...at least for the most purrt. I was getting a little irritated towards the end of the nite w/all stupid jokes, it got a little too curried away. At any rate, I'm excited cuz thurr all gonna come to the SH anniverasary next week yay!!! Praise God!!!

Last nite, aela, mo, and I talked, prayed, and chose the new core team for next yurr. I'm excited cuz these new people have so much to offer to the community. Juss thurr willingness and openess to serve is exciting! I'm also excited for the great projkets the Lord has in store fo us this next upcoming yurr. So in the mean time, please continue to pray for the new core and for the new leadership taking place. Yay!!!
