P is for PCN

It felt real nice to sleep in this morning, I was actually hoping it was going to rain. I love sleeping in and juss listening to the rain drops falling on my head. When the weather is gloomy its like one of them lazy days. Whurr you juss dont want to do anything, but chill at home. Turn on the fire place, make some hot chocolate and sit back and relax. Lay in bed w/a warm blanket, while watching a dvd from your laptop. Ahhhh yup thas one perfect day. Too bad it didnt rain and too bad I had a busy schedule for the day.

You know I was wondering those who read my blog, even bother to read the quote. Or do they juss skim down to read the entry posted for the day. Anyway, you should read the quotes if you dont. I love quotes especially ones that have been written by holy people like the saints and martyrs cuz even though they may say the simplest things, it says so much. I also like quotes that are inspirational/motivational, not that it motivates me ha it juss gives me some food for thought.

ONe of my students invited me to his birfday purrty at his house. Actually, its combo purrty for him and his brother. I think he felt like he kinda had to entertain me the whole time, since I was his guest. They have a huge backyurrd and nice house too, well all them houses in la palma are nice. Most of them are all two story also, so it makes it even nicer. Anyway, so the backyurrd had this patio area w/all tiles. Then they juss installed this bar area also on the patio. TOwards the back they have this small spa w/a mini gazebo. I miss my spa too bad the whole electrical system is too old and it doesnt work no more. THen in the middle they had this tent type thing whurr all the food was and whurr people could sit.

HIs parents whurr nice, well I met his dad and his mom juss kinda smiled at me errtiem she passed me by. Thurr whurr tons of people, a lot he didnt even really know. Its cute they have this tradition that whenever a family member leaves, they all run to the backyurrd and wave goodbye to them from over the wall. I felt a little awkward being thurr, but it was coo. I hope I didnt seem stuck up cuz I didnt really move to the area whur all his cousins whurr. He wanted me to ha but I felt weird. I think it wouldve been weirder for me to intro. me and say, 'oh yeah by the way, this is my confirmation teacher from church.' haha

Went to sunny hill's pcn later that nite. My friend was suppose to go, but then she had curr problems so we decided wed meet up after. Anyway, wow talk bout filipino culture nite...they even sturrted the show filipino time. Calvin's mom hooked it up, so I didnt have to sit so furr back. In fact I got 2nd to the front seats, which was perfect so I could see errthang up close. I had some of my students performing in the show thas why I went. Anyway, for the most purrt it was coo. Some things I didnt understand though like why they had tathitian dancing after intermission. Also how come they didnt have a modern like all other pcns do. My fav was the tinikling dance cuz they all switched positions and took turns, that was tight. I saw therese and jason thurr, therese was happy I came.

Im sure they all feel relieved now that its over. I know that feeling of planning something big and practicing, then when its over you can breathe. It brought back memories of planning international week two yurrs in a row. Man I remember getting heat my jr. yurr cuz we had to cut the 2nd assembly short, so not errone got to see the whole thing. Doing that kind of stuff was fun in ASB. Though, personally, for me, I dont like doing it as a job. I think cuz its a job so knowing it has come to out perfect or else...that type of thing. Whurr as outside of work if it dont come out perfect its cool.

Afterwurrds, my friend didnt pick up her phone so that idea was shot down the drain. Being I was hungry, alaine met up w/me and we had dennys. I was so hungry! Ha I didnt leave a tip and juss gave exact change. The waitress left us our bill all early, w/o even bothering to ask if we needed anything else. Then alaine had told her she might be ordering dessert, but the waitress didnt come back to check to see if she wanted it. I dont understand how when you order a side of ranch, w/your order, they dont bring it out w/your order. So then you ahve to go through the hassle of asking them again for it and blah blah aghh!
