And They're Off!

GONE: As of today, all the augsitians are gone from sPv. Its sad knowing that as of today our parish has become a diocesian parish. I was always proud knowing that we were one of the few parishes in the diocese that didnt have diocesian priests. I had heard fr. kevin say that only fr. grace was around going in out, and the new pastor was coming in that nite. Man all the priests mustve had a lot of stuff to pack and take to their new assignments. At least I sorta got a chance to say good bye to them. Its goinig to be weird seeing new priests take over parish, its also going to be interesting to see how errone will adjust.

HAPPY FISCAL NEW YEAR: Thas right happy fiscal new year! Which means a brand new everyting, brand new hours for me, brand new mayor, brand new pay, brand new priests, and a brand new budget! Which means there's more money to spend! Its always a struggle towards the end of the fiscal year trying to figure a) how to spend the left over $$ or b) trying to find a little bit of funds left to pay for something. Its weird how they choose the 7 month out of hte whole year to be a fiscal new year. So this fiscal new year, Imma try and be more responsible in what I spend my money on. In fact try and save a little bit for a rainy day.

ITS PRETTY OFFICIAL: Spirit games will be held in the city of stanton this year, inside stanton park. The same park were pentecost picnics use to take place. Im excited that its no place real far, at least for me! ha Now the hard part is going to be having to map out everything on the park being that its structured long ways. Im juss relieved that we finally have a place, its been a struggle this year altogether getting it up in the air. Juss please pray for the coorindators, the team, and for the event in general. I know God is working through all of us, He's juss giving us a big nudge to keep it moving.

FRUSTRATED: So I was a little upset when I came into the office that they took away all the niec chairs. Replacing them w/these crappy ones that they use for council chambers. I thought to myself, I've been here for 3 years already and theyre replacing my chair! Cmon now Im senior rec leader I worked hard to get where I am today. Apparently it wasnt intentional to move the chairs, there juss wasnt anyroom to fit in there. It wouldve been a lot easier if they wouldve juss given me new office but nooo someone had ot be all OA bout it. Agh!

FOOSEBALL FUN: The past couple of days Ive been playing fooseball a lot at my center. I've gotten a lot better but after playing long time you hands start to get tired. Some of the kids are real hardcore and even take the game too seriously. THey get all into the game that sometimes I gotta tell them to chill a little bit. Fooseball is fun though I love playing that game now. Too bad my house is too small otherwise I'd want to buy one for my house too.

FIGHT CLUB: I was at d&b last nite and it seemed like it was some type of asian club. Ha kinda felt like it was 330 all over again. Anyway, so I was a the bar area w/jei waiting for drinks and we saw these two guys starting to get a little crazy. The friend pulled them apart before anything real couldve happened. I think they juss had a little too much to drink. 10 min. later they started to get loud again and thas when all hell broke loose, they start to drop bows at each other then people were getting pushed back cuz the fight was coming our way. This guy got pushed which he ended up spilling his beer all over jei, and I think I got some of it too. Crazy stuff why cant we all juss get a long?! ha Oh yeah I also ran into some old classmates, why am I the only one who isnt finished with skool yet? oh why?!

KANYE JAMS: Ive been dloading a couple of new jams off of the new kanye cd. The new album was suppose to be relased this month, but I guess it pushed back till august. SOme of the new jams are pretty tight, there this one song called about an angel. He sampled it from I think it was from madonna's old song, 'la isla bonita?' I think it was. Then this other one called golddigger which has jamie foxx on it I think? I dont know I juss think the beat is pretty d0pe. Kanye West is freakin tight! I remember when I went to go see him and errsher in concert last fall, it was good stuff. We had good seats too!

GUILTY: I was feeling guilty for not feeling compassionate towards an old friend. I juss started to think that God is merciful and compassionate enough towards me then I should do the same. Even though its hard to be patient, I juss gotta learn to show more charity and patience. We all have crosses to bear, this one is mine I guess. I realized if I dont show compassion and peace towards those in need, then God will judge me for that on my final days. Where charity and love prevail...
