Too Excited

BORING: There's nothing boring then waking up to lecture on different type of geology. This instructor is so funny cuz she's so passionate and into her subject matter. Which is good, it juss doesnt seem appealing to me. She kinda reminds of mary from apologetics, except w/o the eyes looking at each other. Its hard to get into a subject that seems so bland. I didnt realize how much more there was to geology then juss well rocks ha.

BREAKS: It works out nicely having these small breaks inbetween each class. The extra time gives me a chance to go home and either eat breakfast or take a small nap. My mornings are so hectic that I dont have time to eat anything. Its funny cuz the moment I get into the classroom I sit and cant wait til I can go back home. Ahh the feeling of going back to skool again..its tiresome juss thinking of the next day. GOod thing today is the last day of skool for the week. The weekend is here...finally!!!

NEW ONE: Im planning on getting my phone today. Hopefully it'll ccome in the mail by tomorrow. I love buying new toys to play with and learn. I miss the convience and easiness of my old nokia. This new phone I'm planning to get has blue toof! That's gonna be cool to have and it has a camera on the phone also. Ahh yes, it'll be much easier to send texts and Ill be more familar with errthang on it. On top of all that its a flip phone! I've always wanted a nokia flip phone, but none of the cingular stores hurr carried them. Im glad I didnt buy the first one I saw in new york.

SO YOU THINK: I missed tonites episode, but I taped it! wooO! I cant believe the stupid judges put melody on the bottom 6! I think the chick snow the christina aguilera look alike should get kicked off. Anyway, I think melody's closing performance was pretty good. The whole hat dance thing, it caught my attention! ha Errone in the world seems to know that one guy ryan personally. Its cool that he could change his element of dance and be able to adapt to more difficult things like mambo and salsa. Im curious to see whos gonna get kicked off. I really wanna go watch a taping of it, but I aint down to go by myself, whos willing to go?!

MAGGOTS: Another gross thing happened today at work. Well, let me start off w/a positive first. Ever since I bought the 'sequence' game last week, some of the older kids love playing it! I think this has been the summer of board games. Mastering how to play monopoly, relearning what 'life' is all about, 'attacking uno' all over again, and learning critical thinking skills through 'sequence.' Thanks noreen for intro. me to that fun game! Anyway, so I went go to use the restroom and I look down and I see maggots juss all over a roll of toilet paper. Ew I was real disgusted that it seemed like it was some kind of skurry movie. Good thing the place is being torn down next week.

RIP: Our mayor of Stanton, died today from I think low blood pressure. It came real sudden to errone this morning. He was a great guy, who loved his city. The thing bout our city council members is that they're humble old men. They dont come in wearninng these designer suits ready to talk bout politics, they come in ready to serve their community. Which is real hard to find these days in political leaders. The mayor was a real people person, errmonday he would come to the center and eat lunch w/the seniors. He will defiently be missed by many, but now his purgatory is over and he can be w/his wife eternally. Eternal rest grant upon Harry O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.

MEETING JESUS: I had gone to the 630pm mass tonite at holy family, first time I've gone to daily mass there. We celebrated the feast of St. Barthlomew who was one of the apostles of Jesus. Fr. Peter had a great homily about him and the life he lived. Then related it all back to us on how were called to live. Whas crazy is I got to church right at 630pm, and they were already on the responsorial psalm! Maan they mustve started like 10 min. early or something, I know I wasn't real late. Afterwards, went to chill w/the youf at their music min. practice. Since how was practicing at 8pm, there was no point in going home. I love the youf at holy family, they're so full of energy and so fun to be around. Juss the things they do make you laugh, it reminds me of wha its like to be their age again. Not that I'm a lot older than them, but juss the hmm 'childlike' faith and attitude they have in God right now is amazing.

Cant wait for my new phone!
