ONE MORE LEFT: I cant believe its freakin already november! That means thanksgiving is not too far away and people have already probably started thinking of their Christmas shopping. This lady at work I overheard her mention how she was done w/her christmas shopping, wow thas great! It seemed like the months keep flying by, tearing calendar pages off month by month. I could already hear the silver bells ringing...oh what fun!

ALL SAINTS: Ahh yes the fest day of All Saints, I always love reading bout the lives of the saints. They always seem to have the best meditations and reflections. I perfer to read those over other type of christian devotionals. Not that they're wrong or anything, but I juss think sometimes people get caught up reading/reflecting on stuff by billy graham or others when that stuff isnt even catholic! Why read that when you can read all bout lives of the Saints. How they strived to live a holy life, the things they suggest you can do to get closer to God or juss reflect on their service to God. They're so inspiring and have the best stories. One of the first catholic books(besides the bible)that I bought was 'Mystics and Miracles.' It was through that book that help me fall in love w/the saints and want to learn more bout who they were.

HALLOWEEN: I wish the teacher I worked with wasnt so weird, and was a little more festive. Not all the kids dressed up, actually only a few did. Im sure though more wouldve, if the teacher was a little more laxed. Though, I understand you cant give them too much otherwise they'll run w/it however, it's halloween. She said it herself last week in the lounge, she was going to be cynical this year. Maybe God placed me in this job environment to pray for her. On a more positive note, halloween was fun at holy fam. It was cool seeing errone;s different costumes. From the ipod commercial, cardinal jamie, minnie, tinkerbell, joanne's pimp costume...halloween is fun. I won skurriest costume ha wooO! Afterwards, some of us went to downey and attempted to check out this haunted house. When we got there they closed it up, the newspaper gave wrong info. oh why?! So then we went to fridays, but couldnt stay cuz you had to have your id to stay in the bar, and joanne didnt have hers...strike two. Well there was an el torito across the way, so tried to go there...except they were only selling alcohol oh why? Strike 3...I guess God really wanted us to go home instead.

REALLY HOT: So I started to get skurred today at work cuz I was feelin really warm. At skool, the classroom is normally cool but it wasnt today. I got real uncomfortable and felt hot, but my forehead was normal temp. I wanted to get up in the middle of class to get water or something but I couldnt cuz I sat in the very back and it wouldve been embarassing to get up in the middle of lecture. So on my way to work, I drank my soda since I was feeling real warm. Come to work and Im still feeling really warm and uncomfortable. I wanted to ask the teacher to turn on the air conditioner, but I felt weird asking. We dont really have this close nit relationship juss yet. Finally lunch came and as I sat in the teachers lounge I felt better. The air was running and it felt good. Agh then lunch was over and I had to go back to the hot room...agh! Im okay though, I think it was jusss the weather today, it was juss too hot.

BEAUTIFUL: I went to mass at sPv today and I was having a hard time at first trying ot figure out the point to fr. ed's homily. He started talking out how errrone in so cali is stuck on looking beautiful, his friend told him so cali is plastic surgery central and also gym central. I thought to myself thas so true, cuz out of all states, I think cali. esp. so cal. puts a lot of emphasis on looking good. You have to a certain figure to keep up. How people go to the gym now a days not to worry bout being healthy but more less looking beautiful, looking good. Then I saw how he tied altogether w/the Saints and the gospel. The gospel talked bout the 8 beatitudes and the saints were beautiful people because they lived their life following the beatitudes, keeping teh commandments. For us to be beautiful before the Lord we should focus on being pure at heart, being merciful, being peacmakers etc. The funny thing is the whole time he talked bout beautiful people, that song 'the beautiful people' by marilyn manson kept playing in my head.

PLANNING FOR THE YEAR: Met up w/allen tonite at starbucks as we sat and planned the whole rest of 2005 for confirmation. It was fun, he's a pretty funny guy to talk to. He handles my amtrack jokes real well. ha Im glad that he's my aide cuz he's helped give some really good feedback bout the class.

A TRIBUTE: As today is a celebration of 'beautiful people,' the saints, so I thought I'd post up some beautiful people in my life. Yay for sainthood!
