Praise God for a wonderful day. It really was great, even though i had small struggles at work. I cant wait to sleep in on fri. Yesss one more day of work. Im excited to baptized in the spirit again on sat. I was thinking thatd be so d0pe if i went to carson's lss and got baptized last sun. Then i wouldve gotten baptized 3 times in a row. Lss weekend, lss part II weekend, then sfc. Oh well, i hope they do it right @ sfc on sat. I hope they really take the time out for soaking prayer and to explain the charasmatic gifts of the holy spirit. Those items i think are an important part of the baptism. Especially cuz i know that a lot of these people are fresh. Reirich wont tell me how theyre gonna do it on sat. Its not like its gonna be a big suprise to me.

Work was pretty coo, i was relying on the library show to take the kids away from me for the last hour. THough i sadly found out that last wed. was the last show! booo As of the past two weeks, the number of kids in my program has slowly died down. Maybe a lot of people are taking vacation at this time. I think august is one of the prime months to take a vacation cuz schools will be reopening in sept. Oh well praise God i still have kids left, even though they may not be the most behaved ones.

I had a troubled kid today. I had kicked out this kid out of the program last month for various reasons. Anyway he follows us to the park. He;s from the boys & girl's club. So i tell him to go back cuz he wasnt allowed to be w/the rest of the kids. Well i guess he was already set on fire cuz of something else. On top of that he has like adhd or addd something kind of disorder. Ive worked w/kids like that before. Well the director of the boys & girls club comes and he doesnt want to go w/her either. HE learns that his grandma is durr to pick him up, so after much delay he ends up going. I thought praise God that way i wouldnt have to deal with him.

Our theme for the program this week is 'become a survivor.' So i had the kids pitch a tent out @ the park. It was a small easy one. Well out of 6 kids, most of them boys it took one girl to get the whole thing put together. I thought that was pretty funny. She took the intiative to juss get it together. SO they had fun doing that. At the end they had a hard time taking it apart and putting back into the bag. I thought this was a great activity to learn communication, responsiblity, following directions all that stuff. THey seemed to have enjoyed doing it!

After we went into the hall since we had time to kill and did this relaxation meditation activity. I told them whoever can stay still the longest will win a prize. Which lead half of them to fall asleep, which were my intentions so theyd be quiet. haha I was hoping the rest of them woudl but thye couldnt. I was like aw man. I cant believe how these kids woh are like 8-11 use the language they do. IM not talking bout slang words either. Constantly today i told them to watch wha they say...man on man i cant believe how certain words are in their errday vocabulary.

I got to go to bible study today @ lunch. Im the only guy that goes. It was quite interesting but it was fun. Shurring the word of God w/my co-workers. Juss praising him together and reflecting on his word. what he wants to hurr. Errday i thank God for putting me in the place where i am today. God took me out of a place whurr i couldnt handle it anymore and put me into a new place to do better stuff.

Went to yfc again in irvine. the mexican and jeanne. We got durr like a whole half hour early. I took me only 15 min to over to irvine. So we walked around the campus and juss talked. Tonite dur was more people then last week. THen again a lot of people had finals last week also. We did an icebreaker and had to tell 2 trufs and a lie. Thats a good 'get to know you' ice breaker. After we did this group activity. The girl gave each group a bible scripture you had to discuss w/your group and then act it out in front of errone. OUrs was the good samiaritan so we modernized it and it turned out d0pe! That was a lot of fun. Yfc are some good people. Id give them a '7' on the hospitality scale.
We did praise & worship outside which was awesome! The room was too to be in anyway. Id like to do more paise & worship outside. I cant wait til the bonfire when we do praise & worship durr.

The point of the activity is GOd calls in different ways. Different ways through different ministries. Point is how ready are you to answer his calling? Its important we take time out to figure out what He;s trying to say to us. I guess that cant be done either when youre going 90 miles an hour doing this and that. I shurred w/the group how Blessed mother teresa is a wonderful example of being able to see Jesus through errrone's eyes. I think thas one of the main points of the parable of the Good Samiaritan. How Jesus says, 'What you do for the least of my brothers and sisters you do for Me.' Being able to see Him through errones eyes. SOmething i tend to struggle with a lot.

Jay da bowlers bible study was coo too last fri. Theyre funny people, even though i was put on the spot a couple of times. I think id give their community an '8' on the hospitality scale. They were all really welcoming towards me. I think thas what will make or break a person on whether they'll join your community or not. How hospitable are you towards them. Carson id give an '8' also on the hospitality scale. Good group of hospitable people over durr.

I think arnold Schwarzenegger running for govenor to try to replace davis is dumb. REpublicans are lame...theyre not using their heads. I say go gray davis!!! youre # 1 haha jk lets keep davis! Jerry springer was gonna run for the open senate seat in ohio but isnt anymore. I hope he ends up changing his mind soon. MArk anthony showed me this morning the trailer to the movie, the 'passion' the movie being produced by mel gibson. Wow very powerful, sent chills down my back. thas it hurr comes one busy weekend...


I think i found myself a new ministry to become part of on wed. evenings! yay!
