"Walk on with hope in your heart...and you'll never walk alone."

THose pics from above were from the SOL formal from sunday. They were doing the 'ocho, ocho' song and dance. As you can see Lf & LoG were feelin it haha. It was funny cuz as part of the entertaiment for the evening, they had the SOL elders dancing to it. It was soo hillarious, im going to have post up the pics for that one too. Anyway, it seemed there was less people than last yurrs, but it was cool. We played a couple of games too, which kinda broke the ice. The newspaper game was funny, the same game we had played at elijiah's 2nd birfday party.

Dinner was the usual hotel/banquet food, the chicken w/steamed vegetables. Served w/mash potatoes and gravy. Unfortunately all they had missing was the rice pilaf. Oh yeah then we had salad that tasted real grass like. It was kinda nasty, they gave us dessert too, so we had cheesecake, that didnt taste the best either. bleh! They had these table center pieces with jars of candy inside. I got the big jar for donating the dollar at my table to play the game. woO! Our table wasnt very sociable. We had mix of LoC and Lf at my table. Leah and i talked a bit bout spirit games.

The dj was ehh it seemed like no one was really feelin him for a while. Things finally started to hype up a bit later on. I pretty much danced w/christy the whole nite. Only cuz my date didnt seemed like she wanted to do anything. She pretty much sat at the table the whole time and played w/her phone. Even some geeps from LF had asked her to grooove w/him, though she turned him down. THat was a bust...but i guess she got her groove back after her friend came in the last hour. Hmm, i didnt know we were allowed to invite extra guests for free of charge. Correct me if im wrong, but isn't that in a way almost like stealing a ticket?

Anyway, like i said Christy was coo, being she didnt have a date, we ended up juss kinda chillin together the rest of the nite. THe dj had later gone into a whole 80's mix and then that song 'lost in emotion' came on i started laughing. Only cuz thas the jam!! Lisa lisa cut the jam was one of the best 80's groups! I love 80's freestyle music juss cuz its so different from all the other types of music. Its gots its own vibe It gets you going and makes you want to move and groooooooooove.

Anyway, for the most part formal was great. I didnt take pics this yurr cuz there wasnt any real point to it. SOL is having a semi-formal valentine's dance in feb. It's $15 for dinner and dance, unlike the sadies they had last yurr which was fun. The young adult group thas forming at St. Philomena is putting together their first event which is valentine's dance also. I dont know if theyre charging either, so thas some good stuff to look forward too. I think SH should put together their own homecoming football game/dance. After all, it only makes sense since we do have our 'football team' now. haha OUr theme will be 'A Night on the Nile' SH homecoming dance 2004.

I ask that you please continue to keep my grandpa in your prayers. He has some kinda of infection which infected and slowed down the rest of his body. Praise God its nothing major. Thank you so much for all your support and prayers!

80's freestlye music rocks!

"Take me, Take me in your arms and dont you let me go..."im done, im out God bless!
