"Painful experiences lead to growth..."

GROWING: There is so much truth in this quote. We've all gone through a painful experience at one time or another in our lives. Yet, I think through those experiences so much fruits can come out of it. Though I think thas if only if you're open to it. You gotta be able to see the goodness in suffering. I can think of so many personal experiences that were painful, yet great things came out of it. Juss the same way w/the crucifixtion, of course it was painful, however wha came out of it? The ressurection of Easter sunday, the apostles being filled w/the Holy Spirit on Penetecost, our salvation. The pain experiences help us in our walks to give a glimpse, a taste of what our Lord went through. Its about growing in faith.

GREAT HOMILY: Fr. Ray as always had a great homily about allowing ourselves to praise God at all times. Often times we tend to forget God when things go well in life. Yet when things go wrong we make extra effort to pray and ask God to take it away or give us what we need. Its funny cuz in all 3 of the readings today, God is asking us for a constant relationship, not on and off type of deal. God desires love not sacrifice, if you sacrifice and do all these fastings yet you have no love its a waste. I love the end of the homily Fr. Ray challenged us to look at God in his desires for us and say yes and a live a yes no matter wha is facing us.

BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS: We had a music min. practice at Holy Fam for HOW, juss a great time singing and worshiping God. You can totally feel the presence of Him while errone was singing. The people at holy family too were so kind and hospitable to us as well. I saw mark anthony there, he was helping out w/the youf group, its been a while since I've seen him. Thas like my 3rd time at holy family but Im excited for juss things God has planned for HOW. I know great things are on their way!
