For the Greater Glory of God

"A friend is one who strengths you with prayers, blesses you with love, and encourages you with hope..."

EXHAUSTED: I feel so physically exhausted, well not only that but also spiritually and mentally too but praise God. Didnt get a whole lot of sleep last nite, but I am thankful that I did sleep and was warm, despite the circumstances. Now that this weekend is over, and this month is almost over, I think things can slow down a little bit. Maybe its juss me, I need to slow down and find to rest. Though thas the hard part cuz I cant help but want to get involved with all the action. I remember when I was younger, I hated missing skool cuz I felt like I was missing out on all the happenings. Sitting down, is juss not my thing ha. I wasnt planning on blogging, but there's this so much to talk bout and show.

FRUITS: With everything, were tests the fruits of our actions. Sometimes we do things and yet, we may not even see the fruits. THough God knows the intentions of our hearts and sees the fruits Himself, which probably is the only one that matters. I must say though the fruits that have come out of this weekend was amazing! The fruits of the Holy Spirit were truly present this weekend, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. All of it was there present in many different ways.

BEING TESTED: Whenever were doing something good for the glory of God, there's always comes struggles. The devil never rests and the attacks though small, sometimes big, can really throw you off. God truly tested my faith through juss various things happenign this weekend. Even to the last min. from finding my skit people, to getting pulled over on the way to holy fam. Yet never the less, God really gave me the grace to hold on tight. I knew I think if I tried to rely on myself, then Id juss crumble. God was holding me together throughout this whole week and errthang was worth it, all for His greater glory!

HAPPY MOMENTS: Even though saturday was such a busy, hectic day, I enjoyed every bit of it. Congrats to the newly married mr. and mrs. sooter! What a bootiful wedding ceremony and great reception. Thanks for letting me share in one of the happiest days of your lives yay! =) I pray that your marriage continues to glorify God and you guys live together forever til youre both past 100! ha Their wedding was really nice, Ive never been to St. Philips before even before it got burnt down. Fr. Pat is one hella cool priest, he goes under my list of favorites. Who wouldve thought...I ran into my cousin there too at the wedding! ha! How crazy that it reallly is a small world after all.

QUICK STOP: Made a quick stop at the family party before leaving to holy fam. I cant believe that my lolo turned 99! Im truly grateful to God for the gift of my grandparents, who are so wonderful. I am also thankful to God for letting him live so long, to experience so much, and share so much of his life w/all of us. It really is amazing what one 'yes' can do, what one 'yes' can change. I think thas the keyword of this weekend...'yes' it is. Giving your all to God, despite not knowing what might happen, where you'll go, but believing, trusting, and giving. On a side note, I was so lucky, after being pulled over by the popo on sat. afternoon, I need to really slow down. If I'm late, then I'm late I guess ha I think I'd rather be late, then have to pay $350 speeding ticket and go to traffic skool. Thanks Lord for the reminder!

SATURDAY: So another big day has come, after months of planning and preperation. I could tell that the youf were so excited to see people come out and support. Through the mountains, the valleys, and the deserts, God managed to keep us altogether. I must say, Im quite proud of my committee...the suicide er I mean suicide skit committee. They were freakin great! I think as the nite passed on, I was more nervous then they were. Praise God for He juss provided it all, even last min. stand in characters. Praise & worship was spirit moving, literally people were touched by the Holy Spirit. Im sure GOd knew there was such a deep thirst and hunger for it. Probably the best part was bonding w/them towards the end of nite, during the 'lights out.' Trying to get to them to sleep, while messing around at the same time. Too many good times...

SUNDAY: Waking up to a sunrise mass, helps to see the beauty in God's creations. Fr. Vic also goes under my 'top ten' favorite priests list. He literally took a sleeping bag and found a empty space to sleep outside. Now thas cool! His homily was even better, having the kids come out and testify there experiences from the weekend. Then during the closing song, creating a 'conga' type line having errone dancing to 'this litttle light of mine' then from there running to the hall from the grass w/errone chasing and following after all. I love priests like that, that live up to their vocation in serving and catering to all. Yeah, I know I get told this all the time, I may not be a youf anymore, but there is so much you can learn from them and take from them. Praise God for their energy to keep on going. Praise God for lighting the fire again.

part of the ipod crew now yay!

"I have one desire just to give my life to you..." im done, im out God bless!
