Wake Me Up When September Ends

SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER: Ha I knew this would be one september to remember as I said at the beginning of the month. Who would've thought all these different things would be occuring right now. Even though the month isnt quite over yet, it's been quite a busy one. Nevertheless a challenging one. There are days when I really wanted to say, 'juss wake me up when september is over.' Though through all the storms and fog, God is always there holding out His hand asking me to trust Him. As always faith isnt bout juss believing, its about trusting and holding on, even through the times of suffering.

CONTEST: Rob and I made a contest, it's a bit of a weird one but it's funny. Well, yesterday he was so inspired that ryan replied back to my myspace message that he thought he'd try it for himself. We made a bet w/each other to see who might get ryan for their event first. He was trying to book ryan for entropy stuff, while I was trying to book him for youf stuff. Whoever got ryan first would owe the person dinner or lunch. The catch is we cant make up any lies or anything like that to try and persuade him. Ha it reminded me of that one brady bunch episode when cindy made a call to this famous baseball player saying her brother was real sick and dying. The baseball player feeling sorry made a special visit over to the house to visit bobby. Then the parents found out that cindy made up the story to try and get the baseball player over. Ha it was pretty funny hmm...haha

ALMOST DOWN: Spent the entire afternoon at holy fam trying to get the suicide skit down. Praise God that we finally have a complete cast and that errone was their also! It helped a lot, and I think for the most part we have it down. We gotta work on the timing a little bit, but they did a superb job yesterday for being the first time. Im juss praying that this skit will bear fruits and even if it juss touches one person, then thas one soul that we were able to help. Praise God! It feels like ol times when Id spend all day at sPv for SH events. Now, it's time to do the same thing but at holy family. Praise God for new experiences!

PERFECT TIMING: God couldnt of chosen a better time for me to be unemployed. Its kinda funny when my boss broke the bad news to me, in my head I was kinda sad but at the same time I was like yess! I dont know how I wouldve been able to get the whole skit together, and help do the program at the same time. So I'm pretty sure God knew this week was probably the best time. I mean as of lately, a lot of my time and energy has been spent with the youf, trying to help them out as much as I can. After this weekend, I think I can breathe a little bit knowing that its all over. At the same time too, its nice knowing I dont have to do the teen dance tomorrow, nor go to some stupid training on saturday morning. WoOOo! Thanks God for hooking it up! haha

CLASSICS: I bought a couple of CDs yesterday at best buy, they're some classic r & b jams from boyz II men and jodeci. I figured they were only $10 and they had all the jams from back in the day. I was listening to them in my car on the way to holy fam and I was boppin my head it was like yaaaaaaaaaaah these are the jams. The songs that I grew up with and would listen to all the time. So if anyone wants a copy of them let me know and bring me a CD and I can burn them for you.

A CALL BACK: On a positive note, I think Im making some type of progess here on the job front. Cypress skool district called me back yesterday, I gotta go in next wed. and take the stupid proficiency test. Stupid no child left behind act! So hopefully, it wont be too hard and I can pass it in and land a job at the skool district, that would be freakin cool! Keep me in your prayers cuz I'd like to have a job at least by october. Im so relieved also knowing I dont have to do the whole battle of the bands nor work during the halloween event. Ahhh yes!

WOODRANCH GRILL: I had dinner for the first time at the woodranch grill in cerritos last nite. Its a pretty nice place, although I didnt really like the selection I got, the rest of the stuff seemed cool. Maybe next time I'll get the steak or ribs, however their fries were real good! haha I was hoping the pasta wouldve been different but oh well. Our server was really kind to us and accomadating, which helps make a difference inn how you view the restaraunt. Anyway, Imma have to go back there sometime and tyr something else.

GIVING BLOOD: I decided to help and donate blood after class yesterday. There was blood drive and I'm sure tons of people out there need blood. it was funny cuz there were some first timers in there and they were reall nervous. Ha its cool giving, I fill up the that pint in like less then 10 min. Ha I guess my blood is that good! The only part I hate is kinda hanging out after you're done. I dont have time to sit and chill for a bit I got things to do! Well not as much anymore ha but still...Anyway, I got a free ticket to the aquarium and on top of that a coupon for a free pint of baskin robbins ice cream oh yeah!! Oh yeah, they also bandaged my arm up in this cool blue band! ha People asked were asking wha happened? I said its for breakin yo! haha

MINI ACCIDENT: I was at best buy and I was backing out this lady was also backing out too. Though I think she was backing out after me, anyway I noticed she was getting real close to my bumper. I tried to move forward so taht she wouldnt it me, but it was too late! oh why?!! Good thing the damage wasnt anything big! I juss decided to let it go cuz you couldnt really see anything. Juss a small scratch thas it, so its not worth reporting to insurance and going through all that hassle. At least im okay, thas all that matters kinda ha
