I got this quote from that movie mulan, mmm mulan. Ya know if mulan was ever a real person...haha anyway, i dont think kids would understand what this meant. This was the part after mulan had saved the country and saved the emperor's palace. So she runs off going back to her village, then oh man i forgot that captin of the army looked at the emperor. The emperor turns and tells him that quote. Its cool the meaning behind this quote. The flower that blooms out of unexpectedness, or cuz of misfortune is the most rare type of flower yet, its still beautiful. I guess this is like people, the most ugliest person you may have seen in the hs or something, the next time you see them at your reunion or something they end up being the one you dont recgonize.

I like that movie mulan i watched it so many times. We were showing it at work on tues., but i didnt get to see it cuz i had to pack the commodities. Anyway, the day was pretty cool. I fell asleep watching a skurry movie, and i forgot to set my alarm for today to do meet up. Good thing i was able to wake up on time though. So we went to the MIssionaries of charity this morning. Man thas hard to stay there and live in poverty, oh man oh man! Ths so hard to be around the real world and not know whas going on. Though its d0pe that the sisters chose that way of living.

We started the morning with mass w/the sisters. It was kinda differetn cuz we didnt even do the prayers of the faithful. After mass we had morning prayer also in the room, we had to take off our slippers. YOu know lately, ive been hurring that prayer "make me an instrument of your peace." I wonder if its a sign fo me or something like that. The sisters split up reirich and corn to the backyard to do some planting. Jeanne, el huego, stider and i stayed in the front. We had a big hard job cuz on the long front gate, theres these vines. So we had to cut them off so you can see through the gate. Jeanne and i worked on that, it was fun cutting them. It was like cutting hair or something. Then the other two guys, el huego and strider worked on weed picking and planting of small fruit trees.

Probably the hardest part of errthang was the cleaning up. It was such a huge mess to pick up and put errthang into the trash bags. We took many different breaks in between cuz it was so hot! Thas another thing why it was harder for us cuz we were in the blazing hot sun. Geez, id hate to be a gardner for my career, i dont even like doing yard work @ home. Today was different though, the sisters were really glad to see us. THey were happy that we were able to help them out. The main sister who was our boss, kept saying Jesus is simling at us right now and we'll be rewarded. Though, to me Jesus already rewarded us, by working for him w/good company! Ü
Next time we go it'll be even more exciting cuz errone will be there together, the guys and the girls! woooO

We also came up w/patron saint names while over there. For example, i am the patron saint of gardening, strider is the patron saint of landscaping, el huego is the patron saint of weed picking and bag holding, reirich is the patron saint of the blang blang and corn is the patron saint of neopolitan ice cream. haha it was funny cuz they had these tree stumps there in the garden. During my break, i got up and took my patron saint picture holding the vine cutters in my hands. Afetr a long morning of hard work, we went to go eat @ some thai food place in lakewood. It was called thai resturant something like that. It was pretty good food, strider knows a place to eat for err city we go to.

Then because it was so hot, we went to get ice cream @ rite aid. mmm ice cream sounds good right now, halo halo sounded good also! mmmmm ube halo halo w/juss the ice cream, the crushed ice and the carnation milk! oOoOh that sounds good right now! While over there, el huego and strider came up w/a few more renditions of my "grace before meals prayer." Instead of using the regular name theyve been using for the past week, they changed it to someone else;s name. They stuck in someone else whom i know, its kinda funny. El huego, kuya and strider work so hard to come up w/new ways to change my grace before meals prayer.

Came home for a little bit, worked on the blog from yesterday. Sent out devotions for today then my dad took out the bedroom door in my parents room and he's putting in there a sliding door. It'll be interesting to see wha it looks like when its done. Finished watching the skurry movie w/strider cuz he came over.

Went to go watch head of state w/strider @ cerritos towne center. Man it was so jam packed that we parked all the way over by old navy. Thas how packed the place was tonite. The movie was funny, its about a political partys pres. canidate got died, so they asked chris rock to be theirs, knowing hes not going to win. Though of course he prooves them wrong and wins the election.HE made up a good point @ the end of the movie while they were showing clips of him campainging. He said, you can go to war when youre 18 and get your leg shot off, yet you cant drink till youre 21. Thas gay, you risk your life when once you turn 18, yet you cant even have alcohol till you turn 21. IF i become president imma change that law, to 18 you can gamble and drink! woooO! haha

Went to get some food @ burger king for the people @ the velacasos. I was craving buffalo wings for the past week now, so i had to go get some. I was getting mad and was pretty close to talking to the manager. I go and order my buffalo wings to go. It took like 20 min to get my order done and it was to go too. I saw people who were sitting down who got their order before mine. I asked the waitress too wha the status was like 15 min after waiting. She told me it shoudl be coming out. Finally one of the waiters who was free was told by the bar tender i was waiting for my food. HE goes and checks on it and then brings it out. I asked the waiter to charge me the happy hour price cuz it took so long to get the food. It was tight cuz he did give me the happy hour price, since i was waiting so long.

Went to the velascos and had a magic mic contest. Aela and archie bought one @ the filipino store today, i want to get one! So we split up into teams, the guys and the girls. SO it was arch, strider and i and jem, aela and babyvee. We played random too, so the comp. randomly picked songs and we had to sing it no matter if we knew it or not. The first round us guys won! Second round i ended up forfitting accidently by pushing the play button. Then the third around we ended up tieing w/them cuz i ended up getting an 88 on "new york, new york." the song by frank sinatra. booo i didnt know that song very well, only the "start spreading the news" part.

So theres been talks in the process of two different vegas trips coming up for the summer. One in may, after errone;s finals are over and skool is over. A great way to kick off the end of the semester, a way to celebrate jems and jeanne;s birfdays too. Then in July probably like that second week, were going back for viii! oOOh yeah! its gonna be my birfday so were gonna go all out like no other!! We aint gonna sleep! i wanna stay in the bleagio or paris, those hotes look so nice! Vi was pretty exciting, a lot of fun memories there. This weather is really making me anxious for summer to come! I cant wait till next month is over!
