I present to you a piece or part of the Spirit Games committee for 2003-2004! Praise God for a really fruitful and productive meeting. I mean juss the fact that people are coming from San Diego, the valley, Temecula, etc. all over so cali for GOd's work. I praise God that each one of these people have answered His calling and said 'yes' into serving him and others through the spirit games. Today we came across our first set back/obstacle. Venue, whurr are we gonna have these games. Some of us were relying on sPv but unfortunately due to insurance liability and all that, its impossible.

Tonite's meeting went well, we had it in the coffee and donut room and oh man it was packed! I liked the way it looked though. I set up so we had the way i had envisioned it in mind. The whole united nations type setting. Name tags, water bottles and agendas for each person. Im real anal on the way things are set up and put together. The only thing we were missing were headphones and translators! haha So as you see in the pic we have SCA, YCT, SOL, YFC, Liwanag, SH, SOL, LF, SLY, SOL daygo. The only groups we were missing were, LOC, LOG, and HOJ. Though i know within the next couple months as the word starts to spread, it will only get bigger.

Does anyone know of a central location we could have the games as well as mass? Perhaps some parish or park. If so let me know! Im really excited cuz so many great fruits are going to take place from these games. August is going to come by really fast, sooner then we all know it. A great way to go into SCRC to end the summer. Like the salad of SCRC or something i dont know. YOu know whas funny, one of the guys frmo SCA works the video store whurr i rent my movies. I saw him in front of the church as i was going into the coffee and donut room. I thought i wonder wha he's doing hurr. Then i come to find out he's part of SCA, ha what a small world!

These first two 'getting started' meetings have been extremely productive and fruitful. Praise God that errthang we discuss gets done. Im really glad that errone is actively participating in the discussion and giving their opinions. It was so funny to hurr the games each community came up with. The wet t-shirt contests, the gauntlent, knock your socks off etc. ha oh man the creativeness of these communities! haha Big ups to my friend cyril from LBC who was our secretary for the evening. Ha there was like 4 pages front and back of notes. Next time we said well make it hardcore and she'lll bring her laptop. This way at the end of the meeting she can send out the notes right away. haha

Another great part of tonite, was being able to see some of these people face to face. FOr a lot of these different groups i communicate via email or phone, so i dont get to see wha they look like. Tonight i can picture a face with the voice now. I was telling myron we could see halo halo at the games! ha thatd be tight, something going around in a small rining a bell, 'fresh halo halo!' hahah Then some of us went to mcdonalds for the post fellowship spirit games meeting. Thas when gail met a new friend while standing in line. haha that was pretty funny, all of a sudden she comes to 'SH patio' section of mcdonalds and has a piece of paper in her hand. For some reason errtime people come to the beach mcdonalds they get all excited cuz of all the stuff they ahve inside. Its pretty funny, dan from oxnard was excited his first time.

Anyway, praise God for a pretty fruitful day. I kinda miss not working and juss kinda chillin. Oh well, really good day. ITs also my grandma's 79th birfday today also! GOd is juss doing so many great things in my life and i cant thank him enough for it. Errday is a new gift juss waiting to be unwrapped. Fr. Paul this morning gave me a really good scripture verse on leadership. Its in 1 timothy chapter 6 i dont remember the exact verse though. WEll i got a schedule lined up for me on things to do for tomorrow. Hopefully ill be able to get them all done. Then youf alpha starts up again woo! I think imma go to SLY on wed. cuz you know how it is, i get around...haha inside joke form the meeting tonite. Ha its funny, jay da banker asked me this morning how come i dont send out anymore emails. hahah Good times, good times! Thank you Lord for a very productive, fruitful day!
