This is whurr i had spent pretty much most of my day yesterday. Fr. Paul and i spontaneously decided thurs. to do a 'day of recollection.' He heard bout this abbey from Fr. Grace who goes thurr errnow and then. So we left at like 0930 and got thurr by 1130. It was in oceanside, but it took us forever to find the place! We barely missed mass!! oh why?! It was juss a time for me to really spiritually get back up thurr again. I needed the time away to totally juss focus on prayer.
This place is ran by the Benedectine monks, its so nice cuz its open to whoever. We didnt even have to make an appt. or anything. I sat for hours in front of the blessed sacrament juss giving myself completely to Him. Fr. Paul, 'nothing like sitting and spending time before the Lord.' Amen to that! I figured this was my only 'free' time to get away being the rest of this month is going to be so busy. Also it was good prayer time to prep for the upcoming LSS. It was coo cuz we stayed for the vespers(evening) prayers.
They have a really d0pe stations of the cross meditation. ITs called 'the way of the cross' prayer meditation walk. Outside of the church they have outdoors stations. I took some time out and done that too. With each station they have like a bench you can sit at to meditate and pray. So that was cool. INside the church they have little marbel engravings on the altar base, blessed sacarment base, and the lectorn. ON the base of the blessed sacrament it said, 'i am the bread of life.' I bought a postcurrd of it, so imma have to scan that and post it.
So i praise God for being able to first off hang out w/fr. paul like that. I mean how often is that you can really chill w/a priest. I praise God for being able to juss devote the whole entire day to him in prayer. We both came out feeling much better then we did when we first got in thurr. As tonz says to me all the time, 'o-m-g' ha they have the nicest collection of books! I like going to gift shops and checking out all the d0pe things they have. They had a whole entire shelf collection of 'spiritual books.' Whas so cool bout it too is that they have it wrapped version and an open version. SO you can browse through the book before you buy it. THen they had a whole collection of apologetic books also. Nice stuff!
On the way home Fr. took me out to mcdonalds cuz we were hungry. WEll at i was, i hadnt eaten anything since like 730am that morning. Then i was soo sleepy on the way home. You know how that is, juss being spiritually drained is tiring. Then to sit in traffic for a while bites! I had to drop fr. off @ olive garden cuz he was going to wendy's daughter's grad. dinner.
Afterwards met up w/errone @ Gengiskhan for more fun, food, and laughter. I was really tempted to eat but i had eaten already. Besides that i dont want to get fat and become the 'fat boy' of the community. They already tried doing that last summer. Anyway, so while we waited for the tribe called king to get thurr house ready for us, we had a d0pe time in the purrking lot!

Ahh yes wondeful times together, agh the dj sucked haha he couldnt play a consistent song! Agh! always changing the songs within the first min. of it. Oh why?! Boss lady, next time we'll get a different dj for the next day...oh wait you wont thurr next yurr! hahaha Me being ASB historian/principal of skool to make sure people werent dancing too close together! haha fun times
Then playing texas ol em at the kings w/the big bad kohuana, jay money, eazy E eme and agh me who they called 'racoon eyes.' The big kohuana asked me, 'so whas it like in the rainfores?!' haha agh! im not a racoon! Im the caped cruasader cmon now! haha jk I cant believe boss lady clurred us all out the first game w/no $$. Then arch came along and wanted to play for real $$ oh why?!!! I lost $5!!!! I dont like playing forreals cuz its too skurry...'i fold!' hahaha Great times!!!
We were all amused at the end of the nite watching hamsty excercise in his little ball. Hha i think weve must been really tired from the great convo from the previous evening. After burrs birfday @ pat & oscurrs, we went to the soratorios for more fun. Dancing hukilau w/laun, we saw an ol skool video of JASMINE TIRAS!!! haha Lyn² had this hawaiian video that teaches little kids how to dance polynesian dances. ANyway, one of the little kids that were dancing in thurr was JASMINE TRIAS! ha how funny!
So we were up till like 3am playing 20 ?'s or whas something no one knows bout you. Ha i think the community really learned something brand new bout me that nite! hhaa Then it was like a talk show the girls were asking the guys all the questions.
Such as:
1. Wha keeps a person committed to thurr s.o(significant other) forever.
2. Why do guys wait until girls are interested in them to pursue them?
Pops shurring his wisdom on relationships and errthang w/errone. Good stuff! Then thurr was like an open forrum and all the statements sturrted with, 'remember when...?' Ha i was doing this w/tonz a while back i said, 'hey toni remember when...' she said 'o-m-g jasonfish you remember everything!' Ha if you know me real well you know that i remember errthang! I save errthang!
Ha so imma shurr some UNforgettable memories...
*Remember when burr you and i went to my friend's birfday purrty @ pinoygrille?! haha we sat thurr ate and then watched all the wallflowers sit agaisnt the wall. WE were the oldest ones thurr! haha then jeanne came and met us up and ate. THen we boned out! hahhaa
*Remember when boss lady when we went to sam's club and got burrs playstation dos for christmas!
*Remember when jaymee and i use to go out to eat @ karuta's all the time! ha then the final time we went, they asked us for tip...grr left bad taste in our moufs.
*Remember when mike we went to friendship games! haha we saw raymond thurr and he was whurring his uprm sweatshirt and it was blazin hot too!
*Remember when el juego you and i went to the episode concert together! haha We came late cuz we were helping you move that day and then you took forever to get ready!
*Remember when banne we had that SCRC meeting @ hTb and we were sitting outside asking ourselves 'whurrs errone else?!' Then we joey came outside and told us errone was already inside eating! haha
*Remember when fred you and i went to go watch the day after tomorrow?! haha oh wait that was long ago that was juss last sat. haha okay remember when i first met you after FCFC JEsus and Java nite and i rode w/you to rubios @ the towne center. YOu busted out w/your apologetics explaing ot me wha the difference between our church and thurr church was. It sooooooo went over my head! haha
*Speaking of that memory, i remember when boss lady asked me if i wanted to go w/them to rubios. Then they asked me if i had a curfew, im like umm no. THat was the same exact nite burr juss got his new curr. Yay! Then we were riding in boss lady's curr and we were playing 20?'s well, it was only them asking me the questions. haha
*Remember when pops you and i bonded all the way up to moval for our LFt retreat! haha
*REmember when SH came to practice for Youf rally skit 02 @ my daycurr! haha we were up till late practicing then i had to be @ work @ 6pm i rememebr that oh man.
AHh yess so many memories, so many fun times. SH is juss a blessing, we have the bestest times together. THese past few weekends really felt like ol times. When we'd hang out all the time, all day, errday! Praise God for great friends, who can never be repalced!
