I Am The Handmaid of the Lord...

"Behold the handmaid of the Lord," she says, "be it done to me according to your word..."

I know its been a while since I've last blogged, too many things going on this month. In some cases I'm even double booking myself. Dang, I hope I can get glasses real soon w/all this driving im going to be doing. I shouldn't really drive at nite if I dont have glasses, cuz I cant see furr away. My dad's comp. switched benefits and errthang, so now we gotta find out who the new provider is, set-up an appointment and all that stuff. Ahh the things to do and get done, I can be such a procrastinator. As anal I am bout time, I have the worst personal time management.

Today is the feast of the Immaculate Conception, so make sure you go to church errone! Its a holy day of obligation! I have such love and a strong devotion to Our Lady. With errthang I do, I always seek her intercession. At the sturrt of errclass on tues. we always sing the Mother Mary song. Even my thurs. class we sing the Mother Mary song. Its to the point whurr the kids have the song memorized and I could totally see Mama Mary smiling down upon us each time we sing the song.

So as we celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Conception hurr's a prayer...

O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, didst
prepare a worthy dwelling place for thy Son, we beseech thee that, as by the foreseen death of this, thy Son, thou didst preserve her from all stain, so too thou wouldst permit us, purified through her intercession, to come unto thee. Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, who livest and reignest with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
Amen.

We had household last nite at Mark Anthony's, well it was a joint household. I like my household theyre a coo bunch of kats. ITs funny cuz we'll always put each other on blast and the fun doesnt stop thurr. We keep going and going and going and going...we were practicing for the presentation purty on sat. I hope im thurr in time to watch all the different group's is presentation. I have my work xmas purty on sat. too, so I'm going to be going from anaheim hills to bellflower in one nite.

So tonite in class my kids were singing, 'Prince of Peace' I taught them the song and wow they sound hella tight! I'm going to record them next tues. then maybe i can put on my blog yay!! Abe strummed the cords on the geetar while the kids were jamming to the song. They liked the song too, they said. ITs tight cuz they girls do the 2nd voice while the guys doing the first. Its harder to hurr the girls since thurrs not as many as the guys. Ha I love it! This has probably been my fav. yurr out of the all yurrs ive been teaching confirmation.

I dont know why but I was so sleeping in psych this morning. I was sitting thurr in the lecture hall falling asleep. So all my finals are next week, on tues. and thursday. Good thing theyre not cumulative ones. Anyway, juss pray that I do well, I need these classes to get in to csudh. I thought this was cool today, so last thurs. we had a quiz and this girl asked if i had an extra scantron. Well being im organized I always keep an extra ones on me. Basically I lent her one, and when she walked in to class this morning she brought me back one. Oh! then last week, the girl who borrowed one of my fav pencils to use for the test brought it back to me also! Wow, I was real impressed by the umm courtesy they showed. I guess I wasnt expecting my pencil to be returned or a scatron, but praise God for those type of people.

On sunday I had not exactly witnessed a curr accident but saw the post-accident damages. I was coming out of sPv after caroling practice and as I was on my way turning on orangethrope, this ol lady was asking for help. So I pulled over and ran out of the curr noticing the accident. None of them had a celly on them to report it, so I called the popos to report the accident. Maan it took me like a min. and a half to get connected to 911. Then it took forever for the bp popos to come too. I felt bad for the lady cuz she was crying cuz this was the first time she's gotten into an accident liek that. Not only that we were all standing in the rain waiting for the popos who took forever to come.

Today in confirmation we were discussing 'time.' How time plays a purrt in errthang in our lives, relating to that one verse in ecc. 3:1-7. You know whurr that one song used during the 70's was named after it. The whole 'for every season turn, turn, turn...'something like that. Did you know that thurrs 86,400 seconds in one day?! wow! I was reading the lifeteen 'spread the word' and it was talking bout how tricky time can be. The times when we feel thurrs juss too much time when thurr anxious or impatient and then the times when its not moving fast enough.

He went on to talk bout how right now millions of students are wishing the finals were over and the winter break was begun. How millions of people are wishing the holidays whurr hurr so theyd be at home w/thurr loved ones. Or how millions of people are hoping for good weather so thurr family can come visit them. The same thing goes for christmas, how for others it doesnt come fast enough and for others it comes by too fast. Though whether we like it or not, christmas will be gone in a sec. all the time prepping for it, all the cleaning, all the shopping etc.

Anyway the point about time is that it only takes one second for our lives to turned upside down. I mean looked it Mama Mary's, I'm sure she did juss wake up and expect the angel gabriel to come to her. Time doesn’t play favorites, does it? One second can bring joy as easily as it can bring pain. In one second, hearts can both stop and start beating. In one second, screeching tires either stop or keep moving. In one second, chastity can be defended or relinquished. In one second, a gun can fire or a finger fall from the trigger. In one second, a person can say, “I’m sorry” or remain silent. In one second, a baby’s life is protected or taken by his mother. In one second, a couple can say, “I do” or walk out. In one second, we can turn our hearts to God or we can turn our hearts to self.

In just one second…over 86,000 times a day.A second might not seem like much, but it can change the course of history, your history.

In one second, an angel’s light surrounded a teenage girl.

In one second Jesus’ tiny baby heart began beating within the Virgin Mary.

In one second, Joseph’s fears became secondary.

In one second a guiding star burst into flame in the sky.

In one second, water turned into wine.

In one second, Peter walked on water.

In one second, Lazarus breathed again.

In one second, Jesus gasped His final breath.

In one second, His heart beat again, again for the first time.

God can change your life in one second, if you let Him. You’ll have 86,400 chances for Him to today (if you stay up, only 43,200 if you sleep really, really late).Whether the second is a joyful one or a painful one, you’ll face a choice. Will you look to God like your Biblical ancestors did? Some seconds are more difficult than others. Some years might be more difficult than others. Like those who have gone before you, you probably don’t know where God is leading you, but that’s okay. Let Him lead. And if you’ve felt like letting Him lead has “burned you” in the past, open yourself up again, and give God that SECOND chance. It’s about “time”.

A life lived for Christ is second to none…

"525, 600, how do you measure, measure a year?"im done, im out God bless!
