"What your mind learns may be forgotten, but what your heart learns remains forever..."
THE FIRST DAY: Oh man it was difficult to get up this morning @ 7am. Then on top of that getting ready for skool. Ahh then knowing on top of that I had to sit in a math class for 3 hrs! oh whY?! Though these are some sacrifices that I'm going to have to adjust to for the next month. Now im debating whether I want to take second session of summer skool. I miss having the daily conference room 2b chats. Now I cant get to the conference room until almost lunch. The instructor is pretty cool the people in the class is alright. There this old lady in that was sitting in my row and shed interrupt in the middle to ask questions. I hate having old people in class cuz they sit and ask all the questions and then they interrupt too. Ahhh!
PATIENCE: Wow today was one of the most challenging days Ive had at work since I've been back. We started summer registration today and it was hectic all day. People coming in and out registering for the different classes. Then we had this one lady who was all upset cuz the hip hop dance instructor was running late. So then she started to get all blaaaaaah w/me and it was juss like aggh!!! Last wed. I had put a picture of the JPII on one of the walls at work and now its not there anymore! I have this strong feeling my coworker took it down and threw it away or something. I asked him about it and he didnt know wha happen to it. I was really upset cuz it was a tight picture that had a quote of him saying, 'Have no fear of moving into the unknown. Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well. Do this in complete faith and confidence.' Knowing that was gone kinda killed my day.
HOME SWEET HOME: On the way home I stopped by the burr cave to pick up my dad's tool. Well it was in boss lady's car, and she wasn't home from work yet so I had to wait. Well I felt so relaxed that I ended up taking a small nap on the couch. I didnt even hear boss lady pull up. I guess I must've really knocked out. Then the burr pushed me and woke me up, then I had to go home. It was relaxing while it lasted at least. ha That place is like my 2nd home haha I love it!
THE CAFTERIA: Last nite after HOW, we all went to pinoy, pinay to celebrate and eat. Well, if you've ever been there you know how the setting is like. You pick up a tray and you go down the line and tell them peeps wha you want. Rob and I were in line next to each other and he goes to me, 'so are you going to 5th period.' Then I said, 'Naw not really, I think imma ditch this one' ha it was funny we were pretending like we were in high school all over again. I wonder if him and I wouldve been friends in high skool. We probably both would be in ASB and he tried to control it, try to implement his own policies. In fact we probably end up butting heads haha! Good thing we werent in hs together.
NOT DOING WELL: This whole diet thing isnt going the way I expected it to go. Then rob and ems party last weekend, that didnt help. I weigh almost close to 150 pounds now...yikes! I havent even really used my jump rope that I bought last week. So I think forreal now I gotta start doing the whole excercising and watching what I eat. I was at alaine tonite and her mom made me eat more after I already had dinner. Talk bout feeling bloated afterwurrds! ha I wish I was skinny again like how I was 3 years ago ha maan those were the good ol days.
MEMORIES: I went over to alaines house and I was checking out her yearbook. That was always my favorite part of the end of the year, getting the yearbooks. The minute you receive it you already start bookmarking your pages for your friends. You come home and bust out your markers, and all the fancy stuff. Ahh yess those were the days, I loved getting the yearbook. When I was an underclassmen I always tried to get the seniors that I knew to sign first before errone else. Juss cuz I knew the seniors were the most difficult to find and they were leaving. Then asking all your friends to sign it, afterwards reading all the messages they wrote. I always liked to read them after I got home that day. Or how bout lending your yearbook to your friends to sign, then they come back not even finished signing it! oh why?! Or when you ask someone to sign it, you would have to take a number cuz there were 10 others in line. Anyway, so as I was looking through alaines hardcore 500 page colored yearbook it juss brought back memories of how simple hs life was. Where did it all go?
"I heard she sang a llulaby..."im done, im out God bless!
