Almost Time!

SUMMER TIME: WEre down to the last week of May already and soon June will be here! I like June cuz it means skools almost out and summer is almost here. Summertime has always been memorable from LSS' to staying out late to juss spending good times w/friends. I know Fred mentioned about the days when we'd do a mini casino nite at the moyas those were good times. I think what I enjoy most about summer now is that I actually have 'free time.' Where as before when I worked for the city I didnt have as much cuz of stupid special events and wha not. This summer is gonna be unforgettable, I juss hope I can tolerate to spend a whole two weeks w/people outside my family...ha

GREAT WEEKEND: This weekend was real productive. I think I was able to do something almost everyday. Friday came and I took Friday afternoon off at the Rectory and went to Oxford to see the Passion benefit concert. I was kinda sad cuz I really wanted to put on a WYD one but stupid jasmine trias had to screw errthang up. Oh well I guess it wasn't meant to be after all.

PASSION: After his show he called me up and I took him to albertacos(his favorite so cal joint) and we chilled there w/his friend and these guys from some protestant church he was performing at the next day. He was telling me how at the skool the kids kept coming and it seemed ever ending...ha I wonder if he gets weirded out traveling from place to place and meeting new faces almost errday. He was telling his friend about my involvement at Holy fam, and the weird thing one of the first thing she asked me was if I've been to SCRC before. Random question. She was totally coo though and real out going. Im hoping I can get him again for Oktoberfest this year I know he's going on tour w/leejay and gabe, soo maybe they can do a show for us.

BIRFDAY FOR EL: Thinking about this nite kinda irritates me cuz I wanted those damn pictures and a certain someone hasn't sent them to me like he said he was going to. Anyway, the nite was fun for the most part. The place was a little difficult to find and it was small. The music was poppin' though. Getting to know some of the people that nite was coo, it wasn't as awkward as I was anticipating it to be. Leslie was gone by the end of the nite and so was this random guy who apparently was celebrating his birfday and yaking out of his friend's car on the way out. Crazy thing bout saturday was I ran into a couple of people that I knew. First, I ran into sheila while standing in line. Small world cuz she was there for her friend's birtfday too, the girl who was celebrating her birfday is friends w/some other people I know...total myspace 6 degree separation type of thing ha. Secondly, this guy who I had in a class at cypress was there that was random, and lastly, some girl who went to skool and was friends w/my cousin. She said to me when she saw me, 'Hey, you're kristina's cousin! what are you doing here?' haa uhhh I dont know nothing else better to do then to drive to hollywood on a saturday nite?!

ST. CALISTUS: I went to confession sat. afternoon at St. Calistus in Garden Grove. Only my second time there but its a really nice church. Anyway, the priest who I went to confession to was really good. Sometimes I feel like when I go to confession I still kinda feel 'eehh' don't get me wrong I'm not down playing the sacrament but sometimes its like hot or cold. Your experience is really good or really bad. This priest that I went to was really good. Really gentle and you can juss feel God's love flowing through him. On top of that he was really young I think he's only been a priest for a couple of years. Im not suppose to go HF cuz I'm an employee there and I guess it's an Archdiocesan rule. So Ill go to sPv or St. I, however I think imma start going to see this priest now. The last time I went to confession at sPv w/Fr. Ted I came out feeling juss judged and I really dont think thas what the sacrament was made for.

SUNDAY: Went to mass as normal. The weather was so gloomy and cold. Felt as if Christmas was going ot be around the corner or something. EAch day it seems like the weather only gets worse and worse. Took a nice relaxing nap and saw the lakers loose to the spurs oh well. Got to chill w/rob at chili's for a little bit. We always have fun whenever we're together even if we piss each other off we still manage to make it fun. Geez, I remember the days when we'd be able to go to lunch at least twice a week before I went to work in the afternoon. We'd always do 1pm cuz then he'd be back to work at 2 and mkaes the rest of the afternoon faster for him.

MONDAY: Woke up at 10am and ran two miles, brought back memories of being in cross country and running errday. I always loved running corners cuz it was the best and easiest ha. Whenever we'd run to cresecent I'd cut and run through my neighborhood to get there faster haha one time someone rated me out for it too. Felt good waking up and running, the nice thing too is that it wasnt hot. Had lunch at a Chinese buffet w/my mom, lola, and aunt then went to lowes and came home ready for a nap. Watched Narnia and it was such a great movie. Some similarities to lord of the rings ha but it was still good. If you watch closely you can figure out the inspiring message bout being chosen despite how you may think you're unworthy God still calls you to be chosen.

BUSY WEEKEND: Busy weekend ahead...and then here comes June! Oh yeah, I'm not sure if I mentioned earlier I started a diet last week. Yup, I started to work out again and get back into shape. In fact Ive called my project 'spring into sexy for summer.' This is the first time where I havent started a diet then never followed through w/it. So far its been difficult but I'm determined to spring into sexy for summer!


Yay for a 4 day work week!
