Let the Games Begin!

The games of the the 20th olympidad has sturrted! Watching the opening ceremonies was making me miss spirit games. Although, i did get some really cool ideas on how to make next yurrs opening ceremony even better than this yurrs. It would be nice to have at a different location each yurr but the possiblity of that is kinda impossible. Juss cuz we'd have to go through liability and all that stuff. No parish wants to be liable for an event as big as spirit games. ANyway the olympics opening ceremonies are always soo fun to watch. They do all these high tech creative ways to show unity and wha the olympics are really made for.

So today one of the former parks & rec comissioners asked me to housesitt for her while she's on a cruise next week. Im excited for some reason maybe cuz they have a spa she told me i could use! ha Being that ours in the backyurrd doesnt really work anymore. She was like oh yeah i have food in the fridge and you could have parties hurr if you wanted. Ha she's so funny. I'll probably juss the house to feed the dog and chill in the spa for a while. Anyway, so that's something exciting to look forward to! yay!

Went to costa mesa urban outfitters w/mike, burr and boss lady. We went to this place called 'anti-mall' its like artsy farts type of sturrs. I guess more less those indie type of brands and type of clothes. It was pretty interesting, wha was cool was these barrels that look like chemical barrels but they were shooting out water. So basically a chemical barrel waterfall, only w/water and no chemicals. Mike said it looked like one of the backgrounds for street fighter II. Ha then we walked around souf coast plaza for a while. Ran into nimz from liwanag over at the american eagle sturr.

Afterwurrds i was craving for something sweet, like some type of dessert. I ended up juss taking a nap. WOke up and then left for apologetics. Very interesting topic tonite on abortion, enthunasia, and all those topics that revolve around killing. Learned that its okay to vote for certain politicians as long as youre voting for the right reasons. Meaning that if a catholic wanted to vote for John Kerry/John Edwards or any other democratic politican its coo. Even though they maybe pro-choice as long as they're voting for them for other reasons. Though, if they were to vote for them cuz they stand for pro-choice than theyre in mortal sin.

Fr. Grace is funny after he was done talking he went up and whispered to me, 'why doesnt someone ever tell me to shut up?' Went to confession afterwurrds inside his office. I said to him, 'these are my confessions...' ahha I love going to fr. grace cuz his insight on things are really good. He does really good confessions and gives some good advice.

Went to Savio after confession i had the urge to go visit Jesus. It was a cross between spc or savio, i ended up going to savio since the freeway was right thurr. When i got thurr i noticed thurr was a new lock on the front door. Now you gotta put in the code to get inside. I sturrted to get dissapointed cuz i wasnt going ot be able to see Jesus. Its been a while since ive gone down thurr, luckly this man heard me try to open the door and came out to open it for me. Yay! So i was able to go and see Jesus for a while. Ive sturrted today the nine days w/St. Therese novena to help discern the next two possible leaders for spirit games next yurr. Thurrs been some names mentioned that have been up in the aurr. Juss thought id back up w/some more prayer, especially at St. Therese novena.

I cant believe its already been one week since spirit games! Im real curious and excited to see the eval forms and to discuss them w/the group. Its always great to be able to improve the event to help make it better for next yurr. And as the yurrs go by it'll only get smoother and smoother. Im also excited to see the dvd that geeps is in the process of making. To watch the interviews he had gotten, to see some of the games footage and juss seeing errone together. What wouldve been d0pe is to see the huge circle we made at the end of the day. Too bad we dont have some like helicopter taking a picture from above. Someone told me they trying to have errone make a hurrt, but no one was listening to him. Ha that wouldve been d0pe too but wouldve taken too much time and too complicated.

You know what i miss? I was thinking bout this other day too and i was telling fred. I miss having online prayer meetings! Youre thinking online prayer meetings huh? Whas that? When a lot of SH kats(besides the guys) use to come online all the time we'd sturrt up a chatroom and sturrt praying. It was real simple and real basic, someone would round errone up in a chatroom and then we'd sturrt to pray. Pray for errone's special intentions, pray for the community, but juss praise God in thanksgiving for errthang He has done for us. It's been quite a long time since we've done that, i do miss it.

When i was at interfaith on wed. nite while waiting for the rest of yfc to arrive, i had the pleasure of listening to 'an audience of one' practice. They were singing 'He is exalted' and it sounded soo bootiful w/the mixture of the flute. I was in total awe and i could juss totally feel the spirit in the room. It was as if the angels whurr thurr before us spreading thurr wings over us as they sang praises to God. I loved it soo much that i recorded the chorus on my phone. Joyce has an awesome voice that really juss puts you in state of awe. A feeling whurr youre juss so in awe of God's beauty that you can juss feel it as she sings. We need to find a flute player to be purrt of our music min.

They were also singing that song, 'I am hurr.' I think thas wha its called or 'hurr i am' one of those titles. It made me realize how long its been since we've sang that song at prayer meeting. Next music min. practice i want to bring that song back cuz the lyrics are inspiring. I remember singing that song at prayer meeting all the time. I guess we mustve lost the transparency or something, but it is a really nice song.


I want to sturrt rennovating my room.
