Thirsting for God

I think this quote sums up perfectly the whole Youf Rally theme. The whole 'Adoremus-Let us adore.' Focusing on the Eucharist and the importance of going to see Jesus and being one w/Him. Making daily/frequest visits to the Blessed Sacarament and adoring Jesus thurr, body, blood, soul, and divinity. I love when I go to sPv and the chapel is empty, its the best! I walk all the way up to the front of the chapel and I kneel and juss give Him my all. Its tight cuz its like its juss Him and I chillin. He thurrs talking to me, and Im thurr talking to him, and it feels great! Teaching first communion, one of the first things I tell my kids is the Jesus' true presence in the Eucharist. I ask them to focus on that and if they can only remember one thing throughtout the entire yurr, at least remember that. I love the eucharist, I really do! yay!

OKay, so I have been lagging on my entries, this past month. Its like a blogging cycle, Ill pick it up again, then it'll slow down again. Yeah, I know and I hate it too when you go to someones blog and it hasnt been updated in forever. It's been one heck of a week, highs and lows, but praise God cuz He all worked it out. Actually to be honest, the reason I havent blogged is cuz Ive been waiting for mark anthony to send me the pics from last wed. Agh and he hasnt done it yet either oh why?! Geez, I havent blogged since last wed. when I went to liwanag.

I had gone to YFC on wed. and it was real fun, the ol skool yfcers lead the meeting. The praise & worship was filling, especially when we were able to pray over each other. It was cool seeing the ol skoolers like mark anthony, nhut, and jay. Sitting thurr watching them made me reflect back to my very first yfc meeting. The very first time I stepped into the doors of interfaith, and how from taht point on, so many doors opened up. I know I say this over and over, but Im glad I went through the sfc-clp back in '03. So many great fruits came out of it that one thing and its crazy to see hows its all happened. WHenever I go to uci, I always have the bestest times thurr.

Thursday, went to the last talk/JPII funeral mass combo. I think it was suppose to be originally a talk but then due to the Popes death, they added a mass w/it. I wish I ws able to go to all of the talks, all five days. Theyre really good speakers, my boss was telling me thas thurr whole ministry, to give missions and homilies. I like fr. dan he's my fav, he's really funny and makes his talks real interesting. On top of that he's real animated and juss real out going, which keeps you on your seats and awake. They shurr so much good info. bout helping to grow in your faith, its grreat.

Went to work for the first aid training, which lasted forever! I decided to go back to work for light duty, yeah I know it sucks. So much to learn during that training it lasted forever! Learning how to wrap a bandage around and wha to do w/spider bites or all this other stuff. In all reality, I think a normal person wouldnt even really attempt to peform first aid, but thurr first instict would be to call 911. I even learned wha to do in incidents like if someone gets stabbed or shot in the chest. Yesss so now I am offically certified(again)for first aid and cpr! WooO! SOmeone get hurrt so I can help you! haha

Friday I drove to CSUDH for a liberal arts advisory meeting, that was long and boring. AGh most of the stuff I've heard already. Though I had to go to get my academic hold lifted, now all I gotta do is send my transcripts. Yeah, I know I had thought I had done that when I first applied but I guess I didnt. Sooo please pray that I get accepted, cuz well I cnat stand to be at cypress another yurr. Really I cant...ha I told julie that when I go transfer over thurr, imma sturt a CFC YFC campus base at that skool ha! Itd be probably coo cuz it wouldnt be all filipinos, but itd be diverse w/blacks and mexicans. I asked my sister today how do you sturrtd a club thurr and she goes, 'we already have a catholic club, we dont need two.' sheeeeeeeesh!

I FINALLY got a letter from GGUSD too last week. I have a written exam @ 8am on friday that I ahve to take. ITs for this campus assitant position, it wasnt my first choice, but its better than nothing. I think almost anything to get out of the city right now, is fine. Its a sturrt so I can get my foot in the door and who knows maybe something will open up. I think those peeps at the district think im stupid ha thas why Im taking a written exam. Ha watch the question be all difficult. Anyway, please pray for me also that I may do well on that exam.

YOuf rally came and gone again, another successful yurr. THough even though the time was shorter it still seemed long. Probably cuz we didnt get to mingle as much, no workshops, and we sat most of the day. I loved it though, I wish I was able to really fully enjoy myself, but it was great. It was great being able to see errone again, to chat, mingle, catch up etc. The performances was d0pe! Liwanag, rocked the gym as if it was a huge club for Jesus. They were my favorite performance! Thurr songs got errone crunked jumping around and wow! I didnt want them to stop! LoC's skit had a real good powerful message, and I can totally picture wha was going in the skit really happening. It was very moving.

THe speakers were great, christina always a motivational speaker. One of my girls got a lot out of her talk. Praise God! Jesse Romero, awesome speaker that really was boomin w/energy. Adoration was the best, obviously the highlight out of the whole day was mass. When Fr. walked by holding Jesus it was like wow! He was right thurr like literally next to me! I loved it! Anyway, hurrs some highlights from the rally! yay!

Catch the Spirit
They were tight, I gotta hand it to them cuz they had errone going during lunch. Even though I was only able to see part of it, you juss wanted to go out thurr and join them. Catch the Spirit...Its crazy how fast the day goes by, my kids had a great time. In fact they had met some people from SoL daygo and SoL RH. Its funny cuz one of my kids IMed me asking if I could take him to puente hills on fri. so he can go hang out w/them. haha Praise God that seeds were planted. Oh yeah, I was able to get a cord for my digicam, so I can upload pics again! I need to save up for a new one though.
