God's Perfect Timing
"Look up and see only Jesus..."
MAN WITH A MISSION: Happy birfday to reirich, wow this foo, like myself is getting old. Its hard believe he was my age when I first met him. Anyway, this guy is great friend to have around. Listener is word to really describe his personality, he's a great listener. One of those people who can juss listen w/o saying anything. Not only is he a good listener, but a deep thinker too ha sometimes I think he over analyzes things. I remember during the way back on the v2 trip, I saw him juss staring into space at burger king. I asked him if he was coo and he said yeah he juss likes to sit and observe...things, people, actions...What I love bout this guy is he's pretty organized, he knows how to prioritize things that are important to him. I like people like that, who keep their stuff together. Anyway, mr. angeles, thanks for being a friend, churrs to you! yay! Happy birfday man!
CAUGHT UP: The scariest thing happened to me juss a little bit ago. Well it wasnt the scariest thing, but it shook me up. I was at the offramp for the 91w, exiting knott at the stop light. There's this grey toyota truck in front of me. The light turns green for us and the truck goes, at the same time there's this old brown volvo speeding down knott going at least 65 mph. I said to myself he's gonna hit the guy, he's gonna hit the guy. Sure enough the tires of the car screeched at the man hit the truck. Check this out, after the volvo hit the truck, he backed up and boned out. Now at this time there was a million thoughts running through my head, and I was still in the state of shock. All I could think bout was that could've been me. God totally intervened and shielded me from the accident.
PART II: So the guy that got hit pulls over to the other side of the street, I go over and check to see if he's okay. He asked if I had got the licesnce plate # on that guy, I didnt, my mind was still in the state of shock that I couldnt even concentrate. Well another car pulls up behind us and turns out to be this girl who taught SRE on thurs! Im like heather?! She goes jason?! ha She was right behind me when the accident occurred, except she backed up behind me and went to go chase after the guy. Then we decided to go look after the guy cuz we thought his tire flew off so he couldnt of made it very far. We come back empty handed with nothing, turns out actually the guys tire didnt come off. The guy who hit the truck hit the guy so hard the spare tire from under the truck came off. ANnyway, the popo comes and you could tell he didnt really care. Didnt bother to ask if the guy was alright or anything. So we juss went home after, Im jusss glad the guy was okay, and I was okay. It juss sucks it became a hit and run. Talk bout God's perfect timing.
HEAT: The weather has been extremely hot this past week! Im glad I'm not outside all day, otherwise I'd burn! Work was pretty coo being that all the supervisors were pretty much gone for the day. Two are on vacation and the other one was at knotts for this summer safari. It was so busy today that I didnt even get a chance to sit and eat my lunch. By the time I did it was a cold and soggy. agh! We had this huge water play and I have the ghettoist kids I tell you...so they were taking water from the puddles and throwing it at each other. Oh yah I also got these really good shots of them and a group picture at the end. The heat really takes a lot out of you.
SILENT PRAYER: Fr. Vic had a talk bout silent prayer, it was really good. I took down a lot of good points from his talk. In the beginning he asked errone to sit in silent prayer for 5 min. Wow that was hard to sit in silence for 5 min. Then afterwards he asked people to share how they felt, what they got out of it. Fr. talked bout how this type of prayer is the road less traveled only because it helps you really see you for who you are. Through silent prayer you can really hear God speak to you, but its something you ahve to constantly work at. The distractions in our lives like the noise are like the sins that prevent us from that relationship w/God. It was a good talk, I enjoyed it.
TWO PLACES AT ONCE: After we all went out for chie's birfday at denny's. It was good, I havent had the italian melt in a long time. The DRE and tito rudy were glad to hear that we found a home at holy family. I am too! I cna see a lot of good fruits coming from this new ministry. Its exciting to start out brand new again, it was funny cuz after our closing songs, city on a hill, came up to me and started asking me all these questions. Anyway, after that I decided to hit up d & b to greet happy birfday to jei franxis. Its always lke asian nite every time I go to d & b, there's always a grip of asian people there. Ran into mike cao and his crew there, saw roland who I havent seen in ages. Left at around 12ish I think, so didnt really stay too long I was so tired then witnessing that whole accident too. Ahh Praise God I got home safe.
BUSY WEEKEND: I have a full calendar this weekend, especially for sunday. Man sometimes I wish there was 2 of me, this way I can be at all the places I want to be at one time. THough I think its partly my fault cuz I sometimes cant say no and think I can be at all these different places. Wha ends up happening is I go to once place and I end up liking it there that I dont want to go the other engagement. Im also housesitting again in irveezy for the weekend, my boss is going to vegas so they asked me to housesitt for them. This weekend is going to go by super fast, by the time I know its already going to be monday.
"Ill never let you down, my love..."im done, im out GOd bless!
