To Light The Path

THE CALLING: I am sure you have seen countless times the homeless people on the street. Its sad that pretty much wherever you go, youre bound to see some homeless person lying in the street waiting for juss an ounce of something. I dont know if you ever juss wonder how they got the way they are or if they're even in that state or condition as they say. Obviously, God only knows the heart of those who are that way. As I was getting off the off ramp on the 91e freeway on harbor, there was a homeless couple at the edge of the ramp. It looks like they were a mother/son couple. The mom was in a wheel chair, looked pretty old. I had juss come back from a bbq and I had left overs that I was suppose to bring to my family. As I sat at the light, I sat and looked at hte food on my left, looked at the couple on my right. Well the light turned green and I zoomed off.

HUMBLED: Yet something was bothering me, my conscience was telling me to stop but I kept going anyway. After going maybe bout a mile past the couple, I finally stopped and turned around, parked at the gas station and walked. I was so skurred thinking, wha happens if something happens to me? Yet I kept walking anyway, and I gave to the couple my left overs from the bbq. The whole time I felt God telling me, 'for I was hungry, and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me drink.' I felt relieved after sharing w/them what I had...I felt guilty passing them by and knowing I had this food. I could totally picture myself standing before God and Him asking him why didnt I share w/Him what I had. I wouldve been speechless. So I went to them asked if they were hungry and the lady who spoke very little english said yes. I put the foil on the ground and then put all the meat on the foil. She was telling her son or whoever it was that there was food. He turned and his eyes were real red from and he kinda stared at me for a min. I quickly fixed the food ofr them and then ran back to the car. I was humbled cuz I realized what I have and the blessings God continues to give me everyday.

FIREWORKS: I was debating all day whether to buy fireworks this year, cuz you cant do them in fullerton. Yet I juss had to cuz well its tradition that I buy some, ever since I was 16, I always get some. So whenever I buy fireworks, I awlays have to them from the western hs booth. Ha it was cool cuz I asked if there was a discount for western alumni and the guy gave me 10% off! woOo! Anyway, so we blew them all up at my cousins, even though fireworks are illegal in fullerton! ha We brought back ol skool style for a little bit, when were all younger, we use ot make these picolo pete bombs. Talk bout terrorists ha! We would smash the powder out of the picolo petes and then using a funnel drain the powder into the tip of a 2 liter bottle. Next we would drill a hole into cap of the bottle, then screw it back on. This way all the powder was now at the end of the bottle. Finally add the fuse into the hole of the bottle, light and boom! It was so loud it would set off car alarms! ha Sometimes we would do like 2-3 at a time...man were its crazy how long ago that was.

AMAZING JOURNEY: YOu know how it is when you go to weddings, they have the sponsors who light the candle for them, cover the veil and the cord...all that jazz. These past twenty-three years have been an amazing journey, espeically this past one. So many words could describe what had taken place, heck I'm sure you can totally make a tv movie series out of it. Anyway, I have been extremely blessed ot have so many people guide me and look out for me. They have been there to light that path for me in so many different ways. I couldnt of done it w/o their prayers, support, and constant guidances. Thank you all for making a difference in my life!

Regarding Upset: How ironic. I've been saying the same thing since over 3 mos ago. The problem has never been to say it, the problem has always been whether the person who needs to hear is humble enough to hear it.Nothing changes if you ignore it. Everythings forgiven, but never forgotten.
you're right, errthang is forgiven but never forgotten. I think though sometimes its best to keep silent, even it the most toughest situations, its best to stay silent juss as Jesus was upon the cross. The only thing you can is pray for that person and pray for the spirit of humility upon them.True, nothing changes if we ignore it, however, it also doesnt help when we constantly nag at the person and constantly remind them. Let God worry bout that and work on them Himself. They'll learn at one point or another
