Just Call Me...

DEPEND ON: Its great to be able to have friends or connections that you can really depend on. That you can rely on them for juss about almost anything and they'll follow through. Or if they cant fufill the obligation, they at least let you know, not leaving you juss hanging. Anyway, I say thihs cuz each time I've asked chris for a favor, he always comes through. My grandparents anniversary party...he was there, my birfday party last year...he was there. Its great knowing I can count him for big things and not have to worry bout whether he'll flake out or something like that. I love responsible people who take of their stuff and get it done yay!

DRAINING: Everyday I come drain...well not entirely, its juss the kids are too nuch. For example today, there were these 3 guys. I saw them ttry to sneak in the back and I stopped them and told them not to go. Well I turn around and they go in the back, so they saw that I caught them, so they take me on this chase around the buildings to the corner. They hop the fence, except the smallest kid couldnt get over the fence in time. The other two kids started to run around the corner then back to their apts. I kicked the one who got caught out cuz he's always causing drama. Well the other two boys come back and give me some crap like they didnt hear me call them or they didnt know. Maybe I'm getting too old for all this stuff ha Then theres this other kid who always love to draw and write store names on my construction paper. Its kinda funny watching him draw then write 'lowes' or 'sams club' I dont even know wha the whole purpose in taht is.

FR. PAUL: So I called fr. paul last nite, to confirm bout me picking him up on sat. He's so funny cuz he goes I dont mean to be snobish but if that;s ookay Imma be driving there myself. Turns out he got his license, he sounded so excited. So instead were going to have lunch somewhere around there. Its funny too cuz fr. kevin gave him his hand me downs, the old car and his old cell. So he let me have his cell phone number, so if I need to get a hold of him I can. Pretty cool have a priests who's not related to you cell number. He asked how things were at sPv and I told him it was different, but he seems to like it where he's at despite the fact that he does a lot more. Tuesdays are his days off and his pastor is real strict when it comes to the liturgy. I didnt know it was liturgically incorrect to greet people w/'good morning' or 'good afternoon' at the start of mass. Anyway, he told me fr. grace is lonely down where he's at, which totally at the tip of the OC. I miss the old priests, but fr. paul reminded me change is good.

REFLECTION: One of the most challenging things so far is sitting and watching. Ive been so use to doing and leading, to sit from the background has been a bit of a challenge. Running things can be stressful, yet I guess I juss enjoy doing it so much that I forget bout the stress. However, though its always nice though to see other people step up into leadership. It is humbling at the same time knowing well I'm not head anymore. Spirit games has definetely come a long way then wha it was a year ago.Were kinda already discerning spirit games heads for next year as well as a location, so like the olympics we can announce it at the end of the games. The summer games for next year...ha

THE FURR: I went to the OC fair tonite w/my coworker, actually a bunch of us were oging to go but well they all flaked. I hadnt gone to the fair in years, and it was the first time for my coworker to go. We had a d0pe time, she saw the big slide and she wanted to go on it...juss that. Ha so we bought 10 tickets and went down that huge slide. THough I didnt go as fast as maybe I shouldve...its the weight thing haha Well we had like 8 tickets left, she didnt want to go on the water slide so I went on my own that is haha OOH! then the highlight of the nite was seeing all the stink animals! The cows were freakin huge!!!!! Then we saw this pig and it had juss given birth the other day so it was milking her 1000 piggies. I was checking out the face of the pig and all I could see was lechon...ha sick. I want to go back to the fair, but its more exciting when you ahve a group of people to go with. None the less it was fun juss going and getting out...I love the OC fair! OH yeah be proud as hungry as I was, I didnt give in and buy all the fatty fair foods.

Lets go back to the fair!
