It's Only Been A Day...
"I am the individual, thats what is important to me; everything in my world is an extension of that standard..."
SANDPAPER: So rob was telling me that beyonce gave this analogy bout sandpaper and mean people. SOmething like how mean people are like sandpaper cuz they'll rub on you until they're all worn out and ugly, leaving you to come out all nice and smooth. I hope I didnt butcher it, well you know how sandpaper you can only use it until its all worn out and ugly. Thas like mean people they rub you and they end up turning ugly, and you come all nice and smooth.
ONE DAY: I cant believe it's only been one day and I miss these foos already. I must be crazzy! For some reason they were in my mind all day. Maan...wha ever am I going to do w/teh rest of my life?! ha It's going to feel real weird after a while not seeing them on tues. nites. :sigh: So one of them asked me:
NuTJo8 52: so are you going to teach next year?
JPFish187: hmm i think so
NuTJo8 52: u should...get to know new kids and mold them
JPFish187: yeah?
NuTJo8 52: yah like you did to us
Awww...I now know wha it feels like to hmm be a teacher teaching a senior class. You become so attached to your students, by the time the end of the year comes...welll as boyz II men once put it, 'it's soo hard to say goodbye to yesterday...'
CLEANINESS: I bought the other day, last week's People Magazine, the 50 most beautiful people in the world magazine. Obviously, usher was in it and he put down a few rules he lives by. One of them was, 'keeping your nails and shoes clean.' His mom has always told him the first thing girls pay attention to is your nails and shoes. A man with unclean nails and dirty shoes is the sign of a trifling man. Ha I thought that was funny. I dont like having dirty nails and as far as my shoes, I always gotta keep em clean.
ORGANIZED: No matter how organized or how much youve planned for something, there's always something that can go wrong. Well it doesnt maybe go wrong, something always comes up. Monday nite, I called all my kids telling them to be at class by 645pm were sturrting early. Not even half the class was there by 645! Well I didnt get thurr till 630pm then sandy was telling me stuff she wanted them to do. Then I had to get the projector from her office, hook the darn thing up. So I realized no matter how prepared you want to be or can be for something, always be ready for something to come up. OKay the next two aren't my thoughts, but I added them cuz I thought they made so much sense.
WATCH: Sometimes it's all in the look. When you talk fast, you get those words out but words mean nothing when they're thrown at the wall. Life tends to work in subtle ways. If we get so distracted with social routines, we fly past authentic forms of empathy that stagger in the jumble of artificial values...pause...take a look...don't move through life so fast...The human condition is inconsistent. We depend on eachother a lot more than we might like to accept. People need those moments of reassurance. The key to life is observation.
PAIN: Imagine that you are standing directly in front of a huge painting. When something knocks you back, you feel the pain but you end up seeing more of the picture. Sometimes you need to be driven into the ground to realize what you have. Take pain for what it is...temporary. It's a condition that we get caught into and find a way out of. Either pity yourself and remain stationary or take a step back and use the experience to make yourself a better person. Choose wisely...
SEAN PAUL: Im bout ready to take this song off my blog. Thurrs only so much I can take of sean paul's voice. After a while it starts to get real tiresome and annoying. I was never really to into the whole 'reggae' music. The voices start to real bug me after a while on top of that all the music sounds the same. Or, they'll juss sample an old song and resing it w/reggae flava to it. Thurrs only so much of a song I can take, before it ends up being played out.
THE LAB: So in the comp lab its interesting to see wha different people are doing as you walk in. As you walk to find an empty space, you see people doing various thing. Some are doing last min. projects to finish up. While others are browsing through thurr myspace, looking to see how many new friends they have. Then thurr I was, searching on cnn.com to see the latest news from washington. Neeyyoow! nerdy, yes I know, though I was real interested to see wha was going on. Too bad the president missed out on all the action, as he was taking a bike ride.
ZOOM: Okay, one of my pet peeves is the zoom button on a camera. Dont you hate it when you ask people to take a pic for you, but they dont bother to zoom in? SO they take the picture for you and then it comes out real far! Agh! oh why?! Then you gotta use the zoom on the comp to do the whole closeup. I was looking at some pictures and I noticed they wouldve come out a lot better if only the zoom was applied. I know when I take pics for peeps I always use the zoom cuz I know how it feels when the picture is too fur away.
PRAYER: I need to find time to stop by the blessed sacarment more often. Im so lazy with errthang thats been happening this week, I havent gotten the chance to do so. How sad is that! Im really glad this week is coming to an end. I need to focus more on prayer and not let other junk going on get to me. Im so easily distracted, I was telling julie a while back that I have yet to go on a retreat this year. Maan...I need to redirect myself spiritually.

PEACE: Thank you Lord, for bringing peace in my heart. It's slowly coming back together again, slowly and surely. Juss gotta remind myself, inorder to see the glory of the ressurection, one must first go through the suffering of Good Friday.
"No pressure and none from me just the let the mood set the moment right..."im done, im out God bless!
