"To hold on to a hate, to hold on to a grudge you just hurt yourself..."

Thas what abe said to brandon today on days. Ha yes, i watch soaps, though ive only had time to watch days and not passions. Passions is a catholic soap opera though ha cuz it shows the perfect battle between good and evil. Anyway, so hurrs how that quote came up, im sure many be able to relate to the basic story line. For the longest time brandon had the biggest grudge against abe. I forgot the reason why, but brandon hated abe. As for abe, juss recently the past couple days he was hurt by brandon. Abe was so angry at brandon for what he had done, so much hurt was in abe's heart.

A while back, abe and lexie(abe's wife) well they werent doing so well. Lexie was working a lot w/her father stefano making the wrong choices. Doing typical sneaky dimera stuff. DUring that time, abe and lexie's marriage were on the rocks. THey were having a really difficult time w/their marriage, almost to the point of divorce. Coincidently, brandon was having a hard time in his realtionship to sami Well im sure you could predict what happens in tv shows when two vulnerable people are boft hurt. When they bof try to comfort one and another, bad fruits happen. Lexie and brandon ended up sleeping together.

Lexie gets pregnant and i guess there was a huge issue of whos the father of the baby. I guess it turned out to be really abe's son. Anyway, brandon is crushed cuz hes been hurt by sami once again. He goes back to his apt to pack up to move away. Abe walks in as brandon is packing up, he tells abe that there is nothing left for him in salem. That brandon's past w/sami makes it impossible for him to stay and live in salem. Abe tells brandon that he cant go until he makes peace w/his past. Abe explains to brandon that if abe wouldve known the truth, that brandon was his son he wouldve been there for him. Abe goes on to say, he would never turn his back on his child.

Abe talks bout the hatred brandon had for him when he first came to salem. Abe brings up the little fling that happened between brandon and lexie. Brandon told abe it wasnt intentionally meant to hurt abe. Abe told him though, you knew that lexie was my wife though. Brandon explained to abe that they were bof hurting and were there for each other at the time. Brandon admitted that it shouldnt of happened and it never did again.
Abe told brandon he wanted to kill him for the affair and brandon says he understands. Abe realizes too though that brandon probably wants to kill him also for not being there for him.

Abe asks if they could forgive one another? Brandon says he doesnt know. Abe says he juss wants the two of tehm to heal. Brandon told him he didnt know if he could forgive abe, cuz he couldnt forgive paul(step-father who beat brandon;s mom). ABe says he has errright to hate paul but to hold on to hate can ruin his life and future. Abe tells brandon to let go of hate and be love. To find a good woman he could love and have a good family with. ABe looks @ brandon and says he has two sons born to him today. Brandon apologies to abe that he cant be there to see his baby brother grow up. Abe reassures him that he can visit anytime. Brandon tells abe, he doesnt know who he is w/o his anger. ABe says, i know who you are, youre brandon theodore carver's brother. Brandon is so touched that abe and lexie named their baby boy after him that he breaks down and hugs abe.

OKay, so i know that was long, and it was a soap opera, but im sure you all get the point. As you saw a long time hatred was now overcome by love. Love overcomes errthang, forgiveness is the key to love. By holding on to a grudge or hate you build up a wall between you and God. Youre blocking God, from trying to let him work in you. BUt youre letting the devil win, youre letting the devil create more divsions and pretend to make you fell great. Dont hold on to hate, let it go and let God's love shine in you, so it could shine through you.

Tomorrow my coworker is gonna get fired. She called in sick again today, wow so it looks like well be having 2 new rec leaders for this summer. I guess all the people who have applied for the position are fresh. Meaning none of them have had any kind of parks & rec experience before. We probably wont get the new people until end of this month or something. Well see what happens, but now i have to pick up my coworkers work load. ahhh pray for me please, work is gonna get a little stressful!

Went to the sre dinner tonite, which was totally d0pe. Wow usually when i dont wanna go someplace, God always has other plans in store for me. Like he suprises me w/something really great. So tonite, during dinner, achie was explaining how the rules for receiving communion have changed. Well if youve seen me receieve the eucharist i get on bof knees and take it. I guess you cant do that anymore, you can only genuflect or bow. From there this guy who was sitting across from us heard our convo and started talking to us. OH man he was so d0pe. He's has the qualities err sre teacher should have. This guy was totally on fire w/his fatih. He told us all these discussion hes had between protestants and him.

I was like whoa after listening to him talk and how he teaches his class. thas juss so amazing right durr! Then later on, as we were leavnig we get stopped by this other sre teacher. He tells me how lucky i am to have fr. brennan as my spiritual director. Then he told achie how his friend saw him that last nite of sre and thought she was hot. Cmon now, who wouldnt think a velasco girl wasnt hot?! Cuz all the velasco girls are hot juss like an oven! So he goes on to tell us this story. He asked if we knew bout St. Padre Pio, achie and i were like hell yeah we know bout padre pio. haha well we didnt say it in those terms but anyway.

He tells us that when he was 3 years old, he was diagnosed w/a brain tumor. That it was malignant and a size of a golf ball. The doctors had told the kids parents their son was going to die. Well the boy and the dad take a trip down to italy. They meet w/padre pio, there was this interpreatur who was telling padre pio, this is rocky and his dad. But Padre Pio already knew, he interrupted and said yeha i know this is rocky and his dad and he came for healing. Padre Pio puts his hand on the kid and right then he;s healed. Padre Pio tells the kid to go back to the states and get the surgery hes suppose to get.

Well the boy and his dad were like why do we need to get surgery, im healed. The boys gets surgey and when the doctors who were athesist open rocky up they see that the tumor is now a size of a marble and is dead. Praise God! wow Then he said how when Padre Pio walked in, the kids dad juss dropped to his knees. The guy told us how Padre Pio told them that whenever you need him(padre Pio) juss call upon your guardian angel. It was such a moving story that i got chills.

Went bowling tonite @ linbrook, wow it was $1.50 for a game and $2.50 for shoe rental. So i paid $4. 00 to go bowling tonite, which is a really good price. We played boys agaisnt girls, excpet i was on the girls team. The loser had to buy the next game. Prayer budby was really good! So was ann bof of them were juss off da the wall! Ju ju be said he sucked @ bowling and it was his first time....rooooooooight. He ended up scoring like 106 @ the end. Whatever ju ju be!! We saw this guy who was right next to us, who i thought looked like a younger version of reirich. Ann thought he was cute though. hahha aiight this is long enough! I printed out my blog today and it was 10 pages long! whoa!!! i heard the mexicans intercessory was good tonite. He's going to do mine next week when i lead! haha we need new people up durr leading it! Aiight so i think i got 3 games down for sun. i juss need bout 2 more. Its gonna be a hot summer baby!!!
