So finally my sister's room is completed. Tonight will be the first in like a month that she'll be sleeping in her room. She's been sleeping out in the garage during the reconstruction of her room. Ha joking! I guess it looks pretty cool, id love to redo my room but i juss dont got the time to do it on the weekends right now. Maybe when summer comes or durnig spring break. I do want a sliding door also in my room, then the whole house will have one. Those are pretty tight cuz they slide back and forth and are easy to use.

TOday had an long scrc meeting, but very productive. Im going to pray bout spear heading a committee, though well see. Maybe it may not be such a good idea being that i already having tons of things inside my pockets. We had Fr. Lueras thurr also in attendance to the meeting, he's a great priest. In fact he was able to hurr my confession as he was leaving. yay! We had a couple of presentations being given, i think thas why the meeting took so long. I left @ 9pm and people were still thurr juss chillin. GOod thing i only live like 20 min away from whurr the meeting was. Dave wants me to be on the 'day of renewal committee' but like i said i have to pray bout it. The day of renewal would be like retreat, soemthing for young adults to preview before going into SCRC.

This guy came in and talked to us bout something the Arch-Diocese of LA is putting together. In a way similar to the SOL formation team, but a formation of young adults. Theyre putting on a formation workshop to teach adults how to lead a ministry. I guess its a workshop with 3 different tracks. One for spirituality, one for ministyr training, and other one but i forgot. Basically, you would choose the tracks you would want to go. A little something for errone, then ending w/mass at the end of the day. Its juss something for young adults to be trained who have never lead a ministry before or wants to learn how.

Grace told me she was advertising SH to this guy who changed her oil today. Ha i know it sounds funny but supposedly the movie preview to the Passion came on. From thurr they were talking bout church stuff and wha not. She asked him wha church he goes to and i guess he mentioned sPv. So she asked if he was part of SH, and he said no but he heard announcemnents bout it. She invited him to go and bring his family one tues. Wow praise God, someone whos not even part of SH advertising for SH when she couldve been advertising her prayer group. Now that's definetly humility right thurr.

This other ministry called mustard seeds gave a presentation also during the meeting. Theyve been around for about 26 yurrs. They go out to 3rd world countries like jamica, nigeria, etc. etc. and they do errthang from teaching, fixing comp., building beds, you name it they do it all. Its like a service type of ministry whurr they travel and basically attend to the needs of the children that you see in those commercials. Many of them handicapp, many juss dont have someone for them. They were saying how these kids sit in front of the blessed sacrament errday and are able to have daily mass. Its pretty much ministering to God's children. WHas really cool the most youd pay is $200, the rest of hte $$ for the trip is sponsored by people.

As they described the trips they go on and as i watched the video, i was humbled. Then when they showed the corporal works of mercy, such as 'when i was hungry, you gave me food. When i was naked, you clothed me.'I wish i had the time to go out and attend to the needs in other countries. That'd be such a d0pe experience, i have a cousin on my dad's side who does it. ONly she's protestant, thas like her skooling though. ANyway, maybe after i graduate college i could do something like that. Im sure its a unforgettable experience.
