Wow YOuf alpha was tight today, so much action went on. I thhink the kids like the live music a lot better then the regualr. THough i noticed this year, it was a little more of a challenge then previously in getting them into the music. Hopefully after today they will be hyped up and have that same furr when they come back on tues. Its soo inspiring being with these kids, i learn so much from them. I love working w/the youf cuz once the flame is ingited they carry it w/them until the end. Thas why i wish thurr was a 'real youf group' hurr @ sPv. There is juss soo much potential for the youf of the parish. I dont conside SPY the youf group of the parish, only cuz they dont do anything.

I really wish we were to do an LSS while confirmation is still in session. To help them continue to keep the flame burning inside of them. I juss wish thurr was something they can be part of after youf alpha was over. Its hard to get them to come to prayer meeting on tues. cuz they have hw and other stuff. THatd be tight if SH were to branch off into youf like how SOL does it. We'd be a youf and prayer group. Throughout these past couple months during youf alpha ive been establishing bonds w/some of the kids. Like that guy richard is a trip, i was messing w/him durnig lunch cuz he was cutting his pizza up into slices and eating it with a fork. Then abraham and his friend 'ryan' (jaymee and i call him that cuz he looks what ryan use ot look like.) had a ipod! whoa those things are freakin d0pe!



The battle game we played was freakin' funny! Betty really makes a great youf leader cuz her spazziness and energy she has. Ha! we get along so well cuz we share the same level of hyperness. Liz is great too cuz she's the same way, she aint afraid to be a foo for God. So we split up into two groups, liz's and bettys. The object was to battle by saying 'we love Jesus yes we do, we love JEsus how bout you' then pointing at the other group. I wouldve liked to get the groups smaller but i figured itd be too complicated at that point. The catch is you gotta be nsync together by doing the same action and saying the same thing all together. Bof groups were d0pe, it soooo tight! haha

Id like to personally give bigs ups and thanks to nicole, reirich, and toni bollonga for their effort w/music min. THey put in a whole days worf of singing and praising GOd for the youf. I praise God that they were willing to come out on a sat. and spend half the day singing. Then toni and nicole for coming to practice the day before. Not even obiligated to but they still made the extra effort. On top of that toni not even physically feeling the best, but gave it her all anyway. Thas wha i love bout toni, she juss majorly supportive. Last but not least bigs up to music min for their hardwork and their incredible talent. The day wouldnt of gone as exciting w/o the live music. Truly, these people have hearts of gold. I love it!



I finally finished putting together my talk. Im going to buy rosaries for all the kids and make it real interactive as possible. I figure its better then juss sitting thurr. My talk is bout a little over 3 pages. Last year i had about 3.5 pages and i finsihed it in 15 min. So, i thought id expand it a little bit more. Im excited, and i hope that ill be able to get errthang in during the 30 min. Whatever God wants them to hurr. My talk is on how to resist evil. Im tstill looking for props like armor, a hat, and a shield. I may go to the thrift store or 99 cents store or even walmart/target to get them. I must admit i have a little bit easier being that my talk is after Holy Spirit Sat. their pusos are a little bit softer...i hope! haa

We had a confession party w/my group after the retreat. Praise God fr. grace took time out to hear their confessions. In turn i got them boba for going to confession as i promised. I got a free calendar and coupons from boba loca. Went to confession w/fr. tevington later on this afternoon before 515pm mass. He seems pretty strong still, wow! Then came home and i straight knocked out for 2 hrs. THen watched fighting temptations, that movie is tight! Go watch it! Nicole and i both agreed as weve watched, 'you got served,' 'love dont cost a thing,' and 'honey' that black urban movies rock! woo! i love my phone! im still getting use to it! i love the speaker phone on it! wooO!
