ONe thing i really liked bout pops' talk from the weekend how he said service is sacrafice. Giving up certain things that you may like or feel for the better of a community. Serving he said is serving not only during convient times, but especially inconvient times. That's the ultimate test in service, when God throws a rock into the production line and throws errthang off. When you totally drop on your knees and say, 'Okay Lord, i know you got my back on this one. So i as your humble servant will trust in You.' Its easy for a leaders to serve in comfortable times, but yet the true test of a servant is being able to serve in difficult times and easy times. Its almost like when you get murried, you make that commitment to love your spouse/husband for better or for worse. Meaning during the worst times of the marriage you will do your best to serve that person. You know already the situation isnt going to be the most convient, but youll serve to that person anyway.

I know i have been saying a lot that im surrounded by the communion of saints hurr on earf. So what does that all mean? Who are these communion of saints on earf? Those are my brothers and sisters who serve God endlessly. They work day and nite to do wha they can to save souls. I really thank and praise God for all the communities out thurr who've helped me out. Its so great thurr is this network of communities who i cna rely on. Yesterday was a perfect example, of the 'beacons being lit.' I needed help and help was what i receieved. Praise God. Its great to know were all in this together. Were all in this together to help build up the greater kingdom of God. Praise God for soo many really wonderful groups like LF, SOL, SLY, YFc, etc. and the list goes on forever.

I think its important that we continually support each others communities and their activities. Its kinda like the whole, 'i scratch your back, you scratch mine' type thing. IF we expect other groups to come out and support us, we should return the favor back to them. I was amazed by all the different groups who came out and supported SH Cafe. That was one of the best part for me, seeing all these faces coming from carson, irvine, rowland heights etc. Not worried bout the distance, but juss coming out to support SH cafe. COming up to help us serve God, to help us Praise God. Thas serving with a heart of a servant. We cant serve God by ourselves, the disciples didnt do things on their, they worked together. Same concept, we shouldnt say, 'well since youf rallies arent my thing, im not gonna go.' It shouldnt matter, were the hands and feet of Christ. We are His body and each part of the body is needed in order to function.

I was watching one of the commercials from the SOL YOuf Rally 03 and i was covicted by the song used in one of the commercials. 'Man in the Mirror' by michael jackson, the song sent something to my heart. It made me realize thurrs so much work to do, but we gotta help each other out. WE have to put our selfish kind of love, drop our pride, and juss make that change. You know so many countries look up to the US cuz the US is always willing to help out. The US is always the first country to send our troops to make peace. I guess same sense, any great community serving God will do the same thing and help out another sister community. Thas one of the things the spirit games represent. Communitiies coming together under ONE body in Christ, to promote a spirit of UNITY, OUTREACH, GROWTH, SUPPORT & FELLOWSHIP Service=sacrafice, are you willing to make the sacrafices for your brothers and sisters in Christ? Its time we all stop to look at ourselves in the mirror, and take a look at who do we see?

ANyway, nuff bout that stuff. It was so funny today as i was talking to pops on the phone. HE told me all the stuff he didnt know that were fried. He gave up eating fried food for lent. So he told me with giving up all this fried food, he'll be 'fit' for maui. I said, nope cuz after lent is over youre gonna be on project put it all back! haha Think of lent as 'project temporary.' haha cuz youll be 'temporarly sexy' for the season of lent. Though...once its over, its project put it all back baby! haha

Yfc was oodles of fun, they were playing taboo and then i had a flash back from the weekend. The whole charades game that we played all weekend long.

Later on i had gone to visit a piece of liwang at interfaith. As i had gone to hug kathee, 'hello.' She told me out of randomness, 'the only reason why i killed you in mafia, is cuz i thought id never see you again!' hahaha oh man and hurr i am still around 7 months later since the first time i met her! haha Anyway, i dropped in during the end of their spirit rally practice. They had some interesting 'spirit churrs' going on, for a min. i thought i was inside a baptist church full of filipinos! haha THough they did have some pretty good churrs, perhaps i will jack a couple to use for YOuf Rally! hahaha jk It'd be so like the movie, 'bring it on!' You see SH doing all these churrs, and then liwang comes out, 'hey wha gives man?! Yeah wha the hell?! those were OUR cheers and you took them from us!' hahahahhaha

Okay, after a lot of end of the nite frustration im pretty happy now! haha Its time to go to bed! i love my bed!


Dang, i was able to chill with two communities all in one day...
