There is folks, youre looking at it right there! St. Lukes Cathoilc Church in Temple City, will hold the first ever Spirit Games on Sat. Aug. 7 2004. The meeting last nite was juss fruitful, despite we had a lot of people not show up, it was still great. Crystal was a great hostess, and i see that is her expertise. Her ministry over at St. Lukes gave us a warm welcome, we had dessert, pizza, lumpia, and a whole a box of fried chicken. She even had teens at the door welcome everyone. Im always a bit overwhelmed when i first come to the meeting. Only cuz im tryign to get the last minute things put together. There was a lot of things to discuss and we were able to get through them all. A mission statement is in the process of being put together by the committee to ensure errone is nysnc with what the purpose of these games are.

I feel whas the word, ahh yes 'blessed' to be working along side with all these different leaders. God has truly paved the way out for this ministry to get started. Through every meeting its only been fruitful with only more and more people joining in. I know though within the next several months ahead, the road is not gonna be easy. The trials are on there way and must not leave room for sin to come in. But i smile with great joy as i go through these trials and tribulations.
"Indeed, all who want to live godly life in Christ Jesus will be presecuted." 2 Timothy 3:12 As St. Paul says for when i am weak, i am made strong. I know His spirit is thurr guiding me through it all.

ANyway these past couple of days have been busy. Getting stuff prepared for yesterdays meeting, and then juss skool and all. On sunday, i had seen agaisnt the ropes that movie w/melanie griffin and omar epps. That movie is freakin tight! its about boxing and going for wha you want in life. Melanie Griffin is a boxing manger who finds omar epps and turns him in from a thug into a boxing winner. The movie teaches you a lot bout humility and all that good stuff. Its actually based on a true story! Melanie plays the character of jackie who is the first female boxing manager in history.

So ive been really reading 'The Catholic Warrior' book lately and its really good. ITs actually really helped me prepare for lent. I recommend that you go to your catholic book stores and buy it today! Had a very productive core group meeting on sunday, reirich and leslie showed up for the first time. It looks like our LSS will be in the late june, which should be pretty interesting and all. Im so excited for the Passion to come out tomorrow! Im still debating whether to watch right after skool also. Well no matter wha i sitll be able to watch it on wed. anyway. I only pray that this movie will convict the hearts of many people. I dont know if ill be able to handle watching the scourging.
