"Don't worry about me no matter what happens in this world. Nothing can happen to me that God doesn't want. And all that He wants, no matter how bad it may appear to us, is really for the best..."

First off HapĀ²y birfday fred, may God continue to shower you w/abunduant blessings! THanks for being that light of God to others!

Friday was busy day, preparing all the last minute stuff for the retreat and meeting. Went to make copies at work of meeting agenda and minutes. Then rushed thinking thurr was mass @ St. Paul of the cross @ 12pm. I was under the impression thurr final mass was @ 12pm. Unfortunately, i was wrong and turned out it was in the morning. Aww kawawa meee! So i ended up sitting and spending time in front of the blessed sacarment. Trying to soak in as much prayer before the big day as possible.

Went to the daycurr to say the final goodbyes to the kids. Its sad that the place is closing. So many good memories were spent thurr. Even SH had a memory of its own practicing for youf rally 02 skit. I remember when that van went over the curb and ran into the daycurr. She went through the wall! Ended up having a baracade in that other room for like a month. Geez some of the kids have really grown up. I cant believe how big theyve gotten. Ahh never the less as theyve gotten older, so has thurr attitudes. Some of them have really whack attitudes, oh well. Its gonna be different going over thurr. PRaise God for the good memories thurr.

From thurr i went to 515pm mass. I must admit i was bit irritated cuz mass sturrted like 5 min. late. On top of that it was longer then usual cuz they had these kids from HS who wanted to receive a grad. blessings. Why was i irritated? WEll you know how it is when you have one of those back to back schedules? Right after something you ahve something else? Thas wha i had, i had plans to take fr. paul to sPc right after 515pm mass. Mass didnt get over till like 6pm. Then i had rush over to sPc to be back by sPv @ 7 for another engagement.

Got to sPc and well the person whom fr. paul needed to see wasnt available. So we ended up leaving cuz i went to mass already. Got back to sPv and then father and i were talking forever. So i had a little time to kill, ended up going to wal-murrt to buy some of those peechee folders. From thurr went back to sPv and met up w/cy and mike.

Went w/cy and mike to work and spent a couple hours putting together the folders. Good convo w/them, wha i love bout the two of them is that they always make time out to help you. Cy has helped me out enormously with so many things w/spirit games. I cant praise God enough for her assitance which has been a blessing! THyere juss fun friends to be around.

After that we got hungry and they wanted alertacos. Instead we went to molca salsa. It was thurr first time so i showed them wha molca salsa was all about. Ran into gary and some other western kids thurr. Man i cant believe that kid is graduating this yurr. I remember when the kid was barely going into HS as i was leaving. My how fast time flies! I like those people who despite the fact they may not talk to you anymore, they still take the time to say 'sup' to you.

Came home and i was up till 2am getting last min. things done for the meeting/retreat. Attempting to find a wall paper for the powerpoint. Trying to look for the freakin 'andy' font that i was forever searching for even that morning. I had to make some name tags and well all the other name tags were made w/'andy' font. Unfortunately when i had to reformat the comp. i didnt think of saving the font. Agh well if you know me(as cy and mike found out)im anal. I wanted all the name tags to look the same. I gave up looking for it @ 2am.

At the same time i was putting together the lyrics to send to julie for praise & worship session. Praise God for her who was putting the power point for me cuz i couldnt really do it. On top of that a little worried bout who was going to show up and who wasnt. Yet trying to surrender it all at the same time. Finally @ 2am i was worn out and i had to sleep to be up @ 7am.

Saturday-

Woke up @ 7am sat. getting last min. stuff together. Trying to organize myself for the day. Picked up some lunch at the market since the Lbc people were running behind. HOJ met us up @ 8am @ sPv. Being we were waiting we went to the blessed sacrament to do some prayer. Offering up the day to Jesus for His greater glory. To give whatever was going ot happen to him.

Finally left for St. Michaels in daygo @ 830am. Got on the freeway and forgot to get into the 5s lane. 20 min on the 91e realized i was on the wrong freeway...oh why?! Matt rode w/me and we had a really nice convo. from the time we got into the curr until we got to st. michael's. THen i was having errone calling me asking whurr i was and i was get frustrated cuz i knew i was gonna be late. Speeding trying ot make it on time.

ONce we exited the directions were like really screwed up and confused. Took us about 20 min after exiting to finally get to the church. I felt a little relieved once we got thurr, but i had juss lost an hour of time. Oh why?! once again! When we got thurr they were juss finishing up the chaplet of divine mercy. Got straight into the meeting and then i was distracted cuz i was lookign for my sunglasses holder thingy. I love my spys and i didnt want them to get scratched in my backpack. Then trying to get myself organized at the same time, organizing my thoughts and errthang else.

The meeting went well, praise God juss soo much to get done. One thing we really lack right now is $$. Were looking to this whole event costing $2500-$3000. Sooooooooo for those who love reading my blogs and would like to donate a love offering for this event holla @ me! haha Why so much? As ive said before being this is now @ uci, thurrs more red tape to cut through versus having it @ a parish. So please pray for us that we will be able to find some sponsors.

SOL daygo provided a fan-tab-ulous lunch for us! In n out cheese burgers and fries! I must say they did spoil us over thurr w/2 great meals, a nice continental breakfast, cut fruits for snack, and ending w/pizza for dinner! Praise God for thurr wonderful hospitality towards us that day.

We played two of the games for the day. One of them being a water game. It was really fun and turned out to be a huge water balloon battle in the end! haha What fun! Wha fun! I didnt get too wet, but thurr whrur others who got pretty wet. Mark anthony pretty prepared for the day bringing extra clothes. I got charisse real good w/one balloon! Ha! i accidently hit cy on the neck w/one. All of the balloons that they tried to hit me w/ended up bouncing off my hard chest! haha

Then they tried to pour the left over water from the cooler over me. Good thing they werent able to get me though! ha Thurr was one time mark anthony said 'lets pour this over the winning team.' So i joined up in attempting to pour it over them. Wha happend was he tried to turn the cooler around and for it to get poured on me. I quickly ran from it and was able to miss the waterfall! Yess! Then another time i was taking a group pic and once again mark anthony tried to pour it over me. For some reason my 'isda senses' were tingling and i was able to dodge the water. Yess!

So we all had fun sampling the games and had a great time in fellowship w/that. Jon whos the games minister did a good job planning them for the day. Praise God! Finished the remainder of the meeting and then got into the retreat portion of the day. Sang our theme song 'how beautiful' and i explained the sigificance of the song and how it relates to the day.

Praise God for a combined effort of a great music min. We had this girl from sol daygo play the piano and i had ang and leo on the geetars. THey did really well w/the music being it was last min stuff. Jewel led praise & worship and wow her prayers were very annointed! Great prayers and discernment! We sat down and presented them w/the personal refelction they were going to do. 'How have you utilized the gifts of the Holy Spirit in your own lives? Wha have been the fruits?'

Hurrs some pics of praise & worship...

Hurrs a pic of angie reflecting on the personal reflection...

Came back and shurred as an open forum/group shurring on the question. Praise God for great participation a lot of wisdom shurred by a lot of people. Praise God for the gifts God has blessed us w/and how we use them bring a little heaven down hurr. OH! wha was fun was we did some warm up songs before praise & worship. One of them was lu la ley and we we all got into a circle to do it! haha oh wha fun!!! Then we sang one of my favs. 'who builds community?' HA it was funny cuz some people actually sturrted to sing it the way i sing it! haha 1,2,3 churrrge! hahahaha

Lu la lu la lu la lu ley

Me builds who community! haha

AFter the group shurring we did the 'agape meal.' Explained the point of this activity and the meaning of it. How the first apostles came together in fellowship in the breaking of the bread. Exactly wha we did during the agape meal. We took bread, broke it, and fed it to our brothers and sisters. AS we took the bread we we were suppose to say a prayer as we fed them. That was fun take a look and how it went...

Then we did the last climax of the day which was the 'to notice the beauty in others' reflection. This is the same reflection that we've done twice in SH. Expressed how we are to be the hand of Jesus to do His work and we are to be the heart of JEsus to shurr GOd's love w/the world. That was a great activity, even came up w/the song when we pass the paper...'Pass the paper on mi left hand side...' hahahah

Took a group pic was able to get one of the CFC peeps from daygo to take our pic for us. He was pretty funny...haha Then as always we were all in the purrking lot dancing the 'ocho, ocho.' Mark anthony drove home w/me to irvine back to leo's. Almost got into an accident on the way back. Some stupid curr sturrted to merge in my lane causing me to swirve a little into the other lane. Praise God no one was in the othe lane! whew close call! Had a good convo on the way back, from a long drive! ASked how i got into ministry and shurred w/him my testimony...i still cant believe ive only been active two yurrs.

Got to leo's and chilled thurr for a while being the stupid gas pumps were down. Good times w/ang and leo, its not often i get to talk w/them so i took advantage of the time. I stayed thurr till like 930pm. Then was standing in the purrking lot talking to ang for another 10 min. haha As the motto for pringles goes...once you pop the fun dont stop!

So praise God for a great retreat, of course all the stress and planning was well worf it. I praise God for errone who helped make such a success! Praise God for julie for helping me w/the power point, praise God for myron for bringing his laptop and projector, praise God for cy and mike for helping me w/the folders. Praise God for leo and ang w/the music. Praise God for SOL daygo and jewel for thurr wonderful hospitality. Praise God for my partener in crime charisse! yay!

Some highlights of the retreat...

I was suppose to get the whole body, it wouldve been funnier, you juss had to be thurr.

Shrek 2 is great! i loved it! Lets go watch it again! Yes blogs are great!!!

Elliot: Hmm. Interesting point about printing or archiving your blogs. I think I might try that.
Yeah you should man then you can pass it on to your kids, and then when they start a blog they can past it on and so on

it's hard to move on from things that we love so dearly. when they end, it's like a part of ourselves die with it.
hey, good idea about printing the blogs. goodness... that would take so much space. hmmm... maybe i'll cut and paste it onto word files. dang it, i wanna back up my template too. it may not look like it, but i spend a heck of a lot of time personalizing that thing.
-Dorothy
Yeah youre right, its hard moving on. Thurrs a quote that a friend of mine once said, and it went something like...
