"You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist..."

As i was going through this evening highlight certain scripture passages i came across one that i really liked. Ephesians 4:7-16, the verse talks bout using the gifts God has given us to build up his church. How we should grow together in faith in love, with Christ being the head and we being joined together at by every supporting ligament with the proper functioning of each part, brings about the body's growth and builds itself up in love. Meaning that each one of us must support each other. In order to grow and build the church up we have to work together. This seems to be a lesson that ive been constantly being reminded bout especially this weekend. I think ive gotten to the point whurr that ugliness i was feeling inside has left.

Mass was nice this morning, the second reading was one of my favorites. The one bout the spiritual gifts of the holy spirit. On how each one of us has a special gift, a special talent that God has blessed us with. The second part in being blessed w/that gift is using it wisely. Wisely meaning using it for God's best interest. Which, isnt always the easiest thing to do. In the talk bout backsliding last nite fr. raymond mentioned that if youve been doing real well and you happen to backslide and yet dont repent of your sins. All the righteous things you have done in the previous life will be forgotten. Pretty skurry, but it makes you want to work so much harder in repenting than before.

Speaking of the Fr. raymond's talk, i loved how he said, when you stand in the front, the devil will work on your soul twice as hard. This way you will fall flat on your butt. What does it mean by standing on the front? Standing in the front as far as leadership goes. The devil knows who is really out thurr to bring the kingdom of God to earf. So he is going to work extra hard on those people who are doing his work. Example priests, priests are people who stand in the front line. THe ones that devil constantly attacks cuz he knows priests are very powerful men of God. It only takes one person to be converted. ONce that person is converted then he will be inspired to go out and convert others.

I guess my whole point is as leaders of anything when doing the work of God we gotta be always ready for the attacks. We have to be alert and not sleeping on the job, cuz it only takes one time to be hit real hard and not want to get up again. The attacks the devil will try to throw at us should be expected. We can't say i dont know if i should continue to do God's work cuz im going to get attacked. By doing that youre throwing down your cross and saying i give up. When you give up, youre loosing a soul, a innoncent soul in which couldve been brought back to the church. God equips us w/the weapons we need, St. Pau even tells us that in ephesians 6:10-17.

OKay im tired, im going to sleep now. I wish i had tomorrow off! agh! Oh well, work i shall go to. I wish i was able to go the casitas at St. Lucys tomorrow. BUt thas at 5pm and i dont get off work till 6pm. I want to start like a bible study up, thurr is juss so many great things in the bible to discuss and talk bout. It helps you understand it better also when youre shurring it w/a friend. I had a blast going through my bible and highlighting all those d0pe verses. Oh yeah i got to talk to nicole again today. She might help us out and sing for youf alpha! Oh hooray! Have a great week, errone!
