Happy Birfday Dad!

Last week I took in my printer to best buy(as well as a bought a new one)to get it repaired. I picked up last nite and supposedly they cleaned out the inside and realigned errthang. THough for some reason, my printer is still making that noise it was making before. I still need to print something out and test to see if its printing. I think imma have unistall the software for hte new printer and reinstall the software for the old one. Agh so much of a hassle though, I wish they made things juss simple.
I am sure many of you have noticed my ring finger w/in the past couple months. I had let my nail grow so long, that it finally cracked. I think it cracked today cuz thas when I noticed it was cracked. So I ended up having to cut the nail, good thing it didn't break whurr it couldve. Now the nail on my ring finger is normal and I can't stractch people anymore...oh why?! Its coo cuz I still have this thumb finger that in the works of growing pretty big too...No, I dont do drugs, no, I don't sniff cocaine w/them fingers either. I use to bite my nails long time ago, well since I don't do that anymore, I mine as well grow them out...haha
Today is my dad's birfday and let me tell you my dad is one talented man. He sure has been blessed w/a variety of different gifts. His trade is an electrician but he does a lot more than juss that. He fixes currs, plumbing, electrical stuff, tiling, and a whole lot more. My dad has taught me a lot on juss how to fix things and save $$. I remember him and I use to hang out all the time while my mom went shopping or something. We would go downsturrs in the bp mall and get a pepsi or orange julius then I'd go to the comic book sturr. Or taking me places that I need to go or juss always making sure I have $$ when I go places. Wha can I say, my dad's great! Praise God!
Good thing I went to the burrs house the nite before music class. It helped me understand a little bit better in class, the whole up and down the scale. Actually, wha helped even better was that he assigned the work that I already did for next tues.! wooO! Which means I'm a little bit ahead, so I juss gotta go over it and review it before tues. So I can understand all this junk. It can be one difficult class to understand, if you really dont know much about music. Though I must admit, I do have a better understanding of notes and blah blah blah now.
I decided I'm going to apply for this position for the district my mom works at. The position that opens is right in my own backyurrd. Its a temporary, special ed. instructional assitant. The requirements are a lot though, thas whas intimidating. On top of turning my application, I have to submit a letter of application to the director of human resources, submit two letter of references, complete a paragraph on appropriate district form. Sheesh, all that juss to become an aide in the classroom. I tell you the requirements these politicans are making(Ahem no child left behind law, ahem dubya!) is crap! They make out to look like its teachers who are stupid, and it's really not, its the purrents who arent taking an active role in thurr children's education. You cant blame the teachers for that...thas ludacris!
ANyway, the pay and schedule is perfect not only the location! Although its only a temp. its only mon. -thurs. 11:45am-3:30pm. 3 hours a day, mon-thursday still, wow thas like a dream come true! Not only, if I get the job will I have fridays off still, I can juss walk to work! wooo! This is something that I'd really like to get. So, please pray for me as I turn in all the paper work in the upcoming week that something will happen! I really want to get out of the city and do venture else whurr. One of my kids asked me last if I heard anything about the job I asked them to pray for me.
Work was work, ha I hate the stupid lock on the gate. I had the hurrdest time trying to pull it off. I also learned that whoever went to my center jacked paint and comic books etc. Whas sad and understandable is they dont want to put anymore $$ then they have to at the center. Its being torn down, who knows when and something else will be put up. They also took comic books and other of the prizes. Speaking of which, I still need to get some of these kids prizes ha which I owe them. On a more positive note, I finally got my eval, which I had done really well. So now, my raise will take affect next thurs.(pay day yay!) on top of that the month and a half of retro pay they owe me. WoOO!
Came home ate real fast and then left for church. Class was tiring, cuz they talk so much they whurr me out. I was real upset at the kids who didnt come on sat. they lost +100 points. On top of that I told them they're going to be confirmed as adults in the church, they need to sturrt acting and making adult decisions. Meaning, telling thurr parents ahead of time of retreats and such they need to attend to. Meaning, they need to take this preparing for thurr sacrament seriously. Im really interested to see how the retreat coming up this sat. is going to go. Thurr this retreat team that puts on retreats from all over coming in and doing it for us. They take curr of errthang, music min. the works. I juss hope its interesting, spiritual, and apologetic all rolled into one. This way they take something away from it.
Then they sturrted to complain how thurr not going to be able to make it to the retreat this sat. I told them thurrs no excuse this has been in the master calendar since the beginning of the yurr. ALways excuses they have for not doing something. We did this annual evaulation of thurr faith churrt too. Im anxious and excited to read that, to see how and whurr they've grown. Its this reflection/activity I do erryurr. Thurrs 3 purrts, one purrt is they evaluate whurr they whurr last yurr in thurr walk, whurr they are today, and whurr do they want to be. I alway make copies so they can see wha they wrote a yurr ago and see how they've grown. Its exciting for me to read as well, cuz I get to see wha they want to learn and wha I need to cover.
Charisse suprisingly called me last nite, we havent talked in ages. She updated me on wha was going on in her life. I told her that making out was a sin yess! ha so we ended up going into this big debate bout how making out is mortal sin. Yes, making out is a mortal sin, so if youre making out, youre in mortal sin! (I told that to my kids and one of them was like, 'wow i better get to confession then!') hahaha She still doesnt believe me, she thinks its a 'grave' sin, but classified enough to be considered 'mortal.' Then went on to explain to me her reasons why. Saw leslie at prayer meeting last nite, and I was really happy to see her. It fact I was juss thinking of her that day, as I was browsing her myspace. Its good to know that she still makes an effort to come and she hasnt fallen away from the community like others who are completely gone. Praise God.
Went out w/the guys afterwurrds, reirich, jei franxis, and fred. Fridays was closing early due to some remodeling stuff, so we ended up going to bjs instead. The service was completely horrible, in fact I was real tempted into talking to the manager and complaining. She gave us our drinks and then it took us forever to her to come back and ask for our order. I really dont have patience for slow service, especially, when it's not busy at all. Good food, good convo, and good fun! Ha I told jei franxis, that guy in the movie 'raise your voice' reminded me of him. He asked why and I had a difficult time explaining why for some reason, its juss one of those things whurr you gotta watch for yourself.
One more thing that I thought was funny. I was randomly browsing through people's myspace and I ran across someones profile. So under who you'd like to meet this guy said, 'Jesus, so I dont have to ask myself, what would Jesus do?' hahahahah thought that was funny okay im done.
