New Year's Prayer Requests

"There is a light in this world, a healing spirit more powerful than any darkness we may encounter. We sometimes lose sight of this force when there is suffering, and too much pain. Then suddenly, the spirit will emerge through the lives of ordinary people who have a call and answer in extraordinary ways."

THINGS TO PRAY FOR: As we start off the new year, its always good to praise and thank God first for getting us through another one. Even if the road has been a difficult one w/suffering and trials, no greater love, then to do it for our Lord. Here's a small list of people you can include in your prayers. Much thanks!
-Mother Church
-Souls in purgatory
-Catholic communities out there striving to do God's work.
-The Holy Father, Cardinals, Bishops, priests, etc.
-Victims of the natural disaster this year...tusnami, hurricane, earthquakes
-Utc Winter Formal coming up.
-For the healing and recovery of my grandpa.
-For the healing and recovery of Coy's dad.
-For the healing and recovery of Theresa's mom.
-Those preparing to make sacraments this year...confirmation, 1st communion, reconcliation, baptism, holy orders, matrimony.
-For the healing of Dane's cousin Augustine who has developed a disease called Pompe's Syndrome. He's three months old, and the doctor said he won't live to be a year old, it's a really rare disease that affects 1 out of 40,000 new born
-Those who are discerning a religous vocation.
-Those who are in need of spiritual rejuvination.
-Those preparing to graduate, discerning career vocations.
-Those who have fallen from the faith.
-For what else shall we pray for? =)

This is pretty cool...wireless connection in the hospital cafteria. The down part of all this is, that myspace is blocked oh why?! haha
