A Superstar

“Marian devotion, nourished by prayer, will keep families united and prayerful with Mary, like the disciples of Jesus before Pentecost...”

FIRST WEEK: So the first week of skool has started and already I'm ready for summer to begin. Well maybe you've already caught on to that attitude from my previous entry. It wasn't too bad it juss feels like I've got the lowest of the lows this year. Maybe its cuz I've see and was proud of how much progress the kids from last year made. On top of that it's a whole new setting, which is crazy with an new admin., a new office manager, and everything else inbetween. Oh yeah and the whole schedule is different too. It's going to take some use to obviously, but hopefully it'll be a good year. Change is always positive but it takes some time for errone to get use to. I juss pray that errthang goes smoothly and there's really no drama that comes up like last year. Can Summer come back to me already?!

TIRING: This weekend was definitely one weekend to remember, I mean if had to describe it in one word it would be outpouring. I may have mentioned this previously, so if Im repeating myself, sorry. Sometimes certain events come off as a blessing in disguise. And thats my testimony of this past weekend. The Spirit was truly present throughout the entire weekend. Lives were transformed and growth has begun to take place in so many different ways in so many different people. Physically, I'm drained talk bout a long weekend. It was an exciting weekend cuz it was filled w/so much love and the fruits of this weekend will start to show. Praise God for juss the grace and the strength to enable me to get through it. Praise God juss for that energy cuz I'm bout ready to crash and sleep for a week ha. No really, I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him in so many ways this weekend. Helped me get back on my feet after a semi difficult week.

LSS: I remember first being asked to help serve on the LSS team. I was excited being that I haven't gone through an LSS in forever. I think the last one was back in '04 or something like that. Then I found out what weekend it was, which coincided with YPR weekend. I was a little bit disappointed trying to figure out how I'm going to be able to juggle both events. God will make a way and He'll make it work out somehow. Sure enough He did, it juss took a little of trust on my part. The LSS was amazing, the speakers were so anointed and filled with this passion and zeal for their particular topics. Walking into the hall felt like old times, reflecting back on my very first LSS, which brought me to where I am today in my journey. This was the first time I became a group leader for adults, which was a little bit of a challenge, but they were great. I mean its nice to see how they can be so eager to share. There was this one man in my group who was talking bout how he's blessed cuz he's has 8 kids and 21 grandkids. When he sharing that I couldnt help to get a little bit teary eyed cuz for a moment I saw so much of my lolo in him. Praise & worship was moving, like I said it felt juss like old times. Who would've thought you'd get older adults to do action songs, I mean honestly 'Who builds the faith?' ha oh man and 'community?' haha that had to have been one of my highlights. During Kuya Alvin's testimony bout his first time coming into an LSS they were singing 'making melodies' ha I juss did that last month w/the Youf. The Baptism in the Spirit was great, God's love truly taking place healing and juss moving into the hearts of all the participants.

YPR: Because of certain situations that occurred during the pre-planning of this event, I ended up being a little bitter and frustrated. However, over time I came to the realizing that it became a blessing in disguise. Heck, I didnt have to worry or stress out over anything. Which helped benefited me in a long run cuz I was able to put more focus on the LSS. Saturday was a crazy transition not juss from switching from one parish to another but work from adults to youth. The fruits of errones hard work paid cuz it turned out really great. There were some kinks here and there that could've made it better but all in all it was cool. Bishop Alexander is freakin awesome, he's so chill and down to Earth. The Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament was amazing, he chose certain people to go up and do the incense part. I've never seen that before where lay people can help do that part. The energy that they had was inspiring, to see them grow and get all excited for God and their faith. My prayer is that they're able to take that same energy and bring back to their homes and skools.

I wish it was summer again!

"How great is our God, sing w/me how great is our God..."im done, im out God bless!

Summer's Officially Over

"The Holy Bible is like a mirror before our mind's eye. In it we see our inner face. From the Scriptures we can learn our spiritual deformities and beauties. And there too we discover the progress we are making and how far we are from perfection..."

SCRC WEEKEND: I realized over the weekend that this year has been my 5th year in the renewal and my 5th year going to SCRC. Wow like I always say how fast time flies. I was sharing this w/I think john reyes how my first year at scrc is where I received my first vision, it tripped me out. Anyway, I always end up having a good times at SCRC, meeting cool people, becoming good friends. Erryear at it scrc its like were these people living a bubble all weekend long. Then after the weekend is over its almost like were experiencing the real world for the first time. This year was exceptionally great cuz the talks I went were real inspiring. Last month was all bout coming back to the heart of worship and growing in the faith again. I sorta miss being at a charismatic prayer meeting, it brought back memories of SH on tues. nites. Ahh the good times...

SUMMER '07 IN REVIEW: As tradition as whenever I wrap up the year or wrap the summer I always blog a recap of the events that took place. Sharing the highlights of each month, the ups and the downs. Overall the summer has been good to me, Im already excited to think about next summer and my trip to Australia...oh man the countdown continues! Oh yeah can we juss turn down the temperature please? I was talking to Gary's brother today and he was talking bout the weather up in SF. How sometimes it would rain for a whole two weeks straight...I began to think that I've forgotten what it feels like to rain. Can winter come please so I can wear long sleeves and look f-r-e-s-h? ha

JUNE: Towards the end of the skool year I had some stupid drama that kinda left a scar. And as I go back to work in a couple of days it's a scar that's in the process of being healed still. Tons of birfday celebrations took place. Fred did his annual birfday tour stop again. Anyway, I think the biggest highlight of June was the release of the iPhone. Ahh yes, June 29th was the day that apple swept the world once again. The whole month as they were releasing the commercials the hype of getting it made me want it even more. What a long day that was, in fact I didnt even end up going to work that day. The stupid att & t store in Cerritos totally disappointed my friend and I. I ended up having to go to south coast to pick up the phone...in the end it was all worth it, well for the most part. I was one of the 100000 million foos who stood in line, made friends, and in end copped that iPhone!

JULY: The new fiscal year began, as well as the celebration of tons of birfdays! That first week of July theres always one birfday after the other. One of the youf was celebrating her birfday as well as her graduation in a black and white party. I love dressing up for events like that, especially since I have a lot of dark colors in my closet. Abe's annual luau birfday party at his house was pretty crackin. Its amazes me how fast these kids grow up, I can still meeting this guy back when he was doing youf alpha. July 4th was pretty coo, did the annual fireworks, the release of transformers was crazy! My 25th came and well I didnt really get the surprise birfday party I wanted (kawawa) it was still cool. Dnbs was crackin' despite the fact that I ended up going home sick. Random lunches w/friends doing the whole catch up, ketchup thing was coo. Coy's surprise party at the park, him too I cant believe he's 19. Its like a parent watching their kids grow up ha well kinda. Core retreat up in the mountains was coo, learning and sharing w/the faith w/these kids helping to light the fire for them on the road of faith. Celebrate the one year anniversary of my lolo. I cant believe that was already one year ago, I praise God errday for giving my family the grace to surpass the struggle. Started an 'at risk' program w/one of my padawans. Began the first of many of the WYD Spirituality sessions, sharing w/the participants the importance of having a prayer life. Celebrations of life were throughout the last couple of months. Mikayla turning one, Jaycee and Ruby's baby shower, and then celebrating the life of Kyle, who after battling w/cancer past away. Had our first major WYD Fundraiser as met people at the 'car wash.' Oh yeah that movie Hairspray was freakin awesome!

AUGUST: August had the craziest weather, especially at the end of the month. I dont remember it being this hot in a long time. I know its usually hot but not like blazin hot where its still hot late at nite. Met up w/my 'once a year friend' and we got drinks, chilled, and caught up in irvine. Which reminds me Imma have to do another one of those w/him before he leaves next month. Talk bout new adventure he's going to be leaving for active duty in germany in Oct. Went to another viewing for one of the youf's lola at forest lawn. The second viewing of the summer that I went to. A new idea was brought up on ways to help restart and re-energize your faith. Which was what help inspire me to get back on the blogging train. Went to Rock the Bells concert for the first time and left with sun burns and hives. Heat and a long day does not mix well w/me. That next day felt so long as Car Wash #2 came along. One of my Padawans from up north came down for the week, so, along with the rest of my padawans we had a mini padawan outing. The release of the anticipated disney movie 'High School Musical 2' came out and it was good but corny as expected. Now the musical soundtrack is played out, however I do enjoying singing it and watchin leilani get all excited over it. ha Birfday party for one of the youf at her house, dang felt so old...Superbad was well super explicit, yet it was so funny and good. Im still waiting to watch it w/rob. The summer car washes finally came to an end, which I was extremely thankful for. Bonfire was tight. Im going to be San Lorenzo in the San Lorenzo skit I was asked to help put together. SCRC was crackin' and well there goes the end of summer. :sigh:

GABE BONDOC: Oh yeah to follow up on the Gabe Bondoc story, he sent me over an email the other day. For some reason I got all excited ha dont ask me why. Basically, he lives up north so in order for him to perform he'd have to come down hurr to socali. I told him to give me a call to see if we could work something out. That has yet to happen, for some reason I couldve thought I had seen before that his myspace said he lives in socal. His music is pretty good though I have to admit. Oktoberfest would really be crackin' then if he came down.

BIRFDAY SHOUT OUTS: A quick birfday shout out going to mr. aya. Its funny cuz we didnt start to become close friends until this past year. He's a cool kat with a real cool sense of humor. We have our random talks bout life and girls and errthang else in between. Though we dont chill a lot or frequently, we have our mysapce sessions ha. Anyway, heres to you brah, next year when you turn 21 you can kick it w/the big kats ha! Shakahs brah, shakahs!

FROM HERE: So where to from here? Well let's see work starts in a couple of days, the new skool year begins. Jam night is coming up this friday and ypr is around the corner in 1 week along with SH's LSS. Then there's oktoberfest to really look forward too as well. Ah yes the fun in the fall doesn't stop. Oh yeah I also cant wait to start watching the season premieres of some of my favorite shows. The goal is to get a new laptop before the end of the year as well...my dream is to get a nice new apple macbook pro. Yum that sounds so good right now.

So that closes up the summer!

"Watch Me Crank Dat Soulja Boy..."im done, im out God bless!
