YOUTUBE: You know I dont think I've ever gone on youtube so much until recently. In fact it juss started this past summer w/Rob intro. me to happy slip then from there it opened the door to all these videos from random people. Anyway, it's amazing how much the internet has changed over the years. I remember being so fascinated with it when I first got the internet with AOL 3.0 dial up ha maan that was the best! Back then it was all about juss chismissing w/friends on IM. Now its all bout networking websites, catching up w/your favorite tv shows, and so much more. Gosh, I love the internet!
O'FEST: A week ago I was juss leaving from the festival for the evening. I was telling errone last week that festival was going to come and go. And it did exactly juss that...maan it was totally crackin this year though. Talk bout blessings being poured out, I'm so thankful that God made errthang turn out. There were some rough bumps along the road, especially on Sunday but it all worked out in the end. It's such an exhausting weekend for the team, and I think they sometimes forget wha the purpose of what its for. Anyway, Im still debating whether I want to handle entertainment next year or not. It seemed to have been more stressful this year then it was last year. Normally its the opposite, the first year its always rough and it all juss falls together the years after. I think it was the whole situation with the sound which made this year so stressful and difficult. Im glad its over, though a part of me wishes it wasn't ha.
FREAKIN' FANTASTIC: This past weekend I was juss amazed by so many different performances. Not to boast but I have to admit the festival entertainment was crackin' this year. Its hard to get people to attract all age demographics. I gave some of the youf a chance to shine and participate in a parish-wide event. They were so excited even their parents came out to record them and watch. It was cute. Those are the things that they'll remember down the line, and it allows them to take an active role in their parish. Carlo aka Mr. J-Ricz that guy is awesome, took time out of his busy schedule to come out and do this for the church. I had missed Krystle's performance but I heard she tore it up. I mean even kids went up to her afterwards asking for pictures and autographs. The grand finale the performance that errone was awaiting for...yeaaah Passion and Gabefreakinbodic! Superb set! I wish I was able to really sit and enjoy the performance. The church was jam packed, when I got on stage to see how many people there were I was in awe. Apparently the word must've really gotten out. Spending the weekend chillin' w/them totally out beats meeting ryanimay and having him come to my confirmation class to share his testimony ha.
WORK: Work is going alright in both places. There are times where I wished I didnt have to work but then I wake up reality. The school year has been a lot different then last year. This new admin is pretty kick back and chill. I think were all still trying to sort out whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. However, there is more interaction I see then in the past. It's funny cuz I noticed how much drama there is working w/women. Rectory is well Rectory, ha with Oktoberfest behind errone its now trying to get back to norm of errday routine. I helped coordinate my first wedding three weeks ago, that was pretty coo. I didnt realize how much minor details there are and how important they are to pay attention to. Especially cuz certain cultures have their own special things they do which make it even more interesting/complicated at the same time.
