CONFIRMATION: 2 weeks ago was sPv's confirmation and it went by all so fast that. Season fours class was a blessing. In fact a lot of great fruits came out of that class. You know I've always looked forward to Tuesday nites juss cuz I love teaching those kids. They're a fun group of people to be around on top of all that they inspire me in my own faith. I hated though this year we hardly had anytime in the class it always in the church. As much as I love the involvement of the new priests, sometimes I wish the old priests were still around. Confirmation would be a lot more chill where as we dont have all these extra activities going on and what not. The day of confirmation I was really irritated that morning cuz in the past we've always met in the classrooms and then lined up from there. This allowed teachers time to take class pictures w/their class etc. Well they changed it this year and put us all in the hall so we couldnt take a class picture in front of the courtyard. Luckily I was able to get a majority of my class after the mass so we could take one still. Aghh juss certain things in that program frustrate me so much that it makes me not want to go back. For sure next year is my last year, and Im only coming back cuz I promised this one kid whos siblings Ive had in my previous classes I'd stay one more year for him.
AMERICAN IDOL: I dont think there has been an entire american idol season where I've watched from beginning to the end until this year! This season has been the best one I think. There's been so many really good talented performers that have been eliminated. There's one though that really caught my attention, mmhm ramiele malubay. So she may have not had the best stage presence but her voice was captivating! On top of all that she's really cute. I was fortunate enough of meeting her at Gerry's Grill in artesia two weeks ago. That had to have been the highlight of my month! Yeaaah I heard her bf goes to uci. The funny part of all this is that lately she's been hitting up all the filipino restaurants in the cerritos/artesia area. On Easter Sunday she was at goldilocks when I heard bout that I was upset cuz I was right there and I missed the opportunity but God always provides right?! And Praise God for good people who help out! haha
FISCAL YEAR: The past couple of days I've been staying at work later w/anticipation of trying to complete the fiscal year calendar requests. Im so proud of myself with the exception of 2 organizations Im pretty much done! I think this is the fastest I've ever completed it. The hard part is done now its all bout making adjustments after meeting w/the different leaders. Yeah were winding down to the end pretty soon.
DISNEYLAND: Last Saturday I took my cousin and nephews to Disneyland. I totally forgot how much walking there was at the park. I cant even remember the last time I was even at the park. It's changed so much since I was last there too. Agh the heat made all the walking suck even more! I wanted to go on the new nemo ride but the line was juss too long. I guess we should've juss stuck it out and waited in line but the heat! We went to watch a lot of shows and the parades were cool. I liked the Aladdin one inside the Cali Adventure that was really good. The nice thing was that the air was one so it made so relaxing. I want to go back when its not so crowded and hot.
WYD: The day is drawing near as my departure for my first ever pilgrimage is coming up! Im excited but yet nervous at the same time. I think Im more nervous about being away from home for a long period of time. HOwever, Im excited to be a whole new place and be able to see the Pope and celebrate our faith. Watching the Pope in New York got me excited for this summer. It's going to be one heck of an experience and I cant wait to come back to blog about it. Its always exciting to go to catholic conventions like SCRC and congress etc. however World Youth Day is on a much bigger scale! People from all over the world coming out to celebrate their faith and love for the Church. This goes to show that the Church still remains strong even after its own struggles.
MODERN: Ive never went to so many debuts until the past couple of years. Two weekend ago I was at a debut at the HOliday Inn. Then in February I was at another one in San Pedro. Anyway, once you see one debut they all kinda start to look alike after that. Actually in June I've been invited to one another one. The part that I hate the most is the candles, roses, and treasures part. Oh why?! its soo long! However the last debut I went to they were smart and they combined the roses and candles together so it went a little faster. On top of that most of the candles were adults so they made their messages quick and easy. Most of the time those things drag cuz kids dont know how to speak. I dont understand why they have moderns at debuts too? Do they have moderns at quinceaneras too? ha Maybe its juss cuz young filipino kids love to dance. Watching their modern made me come up w/the coolest modern routine haha
