PRE-WYD: I think I've shared this in my previous entries but I was really anxious and nervous about going on this trip. There were times I was really excited, but then were also times where I was scared and nervous. At one point, I even doubted whether to even go on this trip at all. I felt unprepared for this trip not physically or financially, but juss spiritually. I wasn't completely all there, it was hard to keep an open mind not knowing exactly w

hat to expect. If you know me, then you know Im the type of person that I want to know whas going on. I want to be kept in the loop of things. So here I was on the plane for a 12 hour flight (which got delayed twice while were at the airport oh why?!) not fully sure of anything. 

WYD: Amazing. Of course there was ups and downs, definitely like that show the real world where you have drama w/people and there's juss drama...not to sound like a pessimistic patty there were more good times then there was bad. I really would

 like to create an imovie slideshow but I dont know how ha and there's so much footage. So whas WYD like? Like I said amazing. I was telling mike the other day

that WYD proved to the world that the Church was still young and alive. 

The Church is vibrant and it still and will continue move to re-shape the hearts of people. To see close to 500,000 people show up for something like this puts you in awe. HOnestly no words can really describe it all. Then seeing 

the Pope live and in person oh man gives you goosebumps. Watching him pass makes a tear from your eye. People all around you praising God it a sense it was like the Upper Room when there people from all over speaking in their native tongue. The Pope said, "I pray that this great assembly, which unites young people 'from every nation under heaven' (cf. Acts 2:5), will be a new Upper Room. May the fire of God's love descend to fill your hearts, unite you ever more fully to the Lord and his Church, and send you forth, a new generation of apostles, to bring the world to Christ!" Amen. May this celebration continue to bring a new pentecost to the heart of the world.

LEAVING: So in t-minus 1 day I'll be leaving on that jet plane to sydney, australia to participate in one of the greatest events in our faith. In all my years I would've never expected the opportunity to be apart of such an exciting and blessed event. Being able to receive the graces and blessings being poured out. AHh man mixed feelings indeed though, a little nervous cuz it's such a long flight, but yet excited at the same time. I cant wait to come back and share all the pictures and errthang from the trip. Maybe Ill put together one of those albums from my macbook to share w/errone. Im hoping to be able to blog/vlog at least a couple of days a week to share w/people whas been going on and what I've been doing out there. Its winter time over there, which is nice I dont have to deal with the heat. Anyway, please continue to keep us in your prayers as you will all be in mine. Also if you have any special intentions that you'd like me to pray for you can email them to me and Ill bring it w/me and offer it up at the all the masses. Ahh this is exciting!! 

WORK: As of lately I'm beginning to realize that I'm ready to leave the church life(work wise) and find something else new. The hard part is the whole finding something 'new.' Looking at ed-join its hard to find a good job in education cuz errone is in the same boat. I did apply for a couple of different jobs though. Well one through bellflower unified which I did a long time ago for a special ed. IA, I guess I didnt get that one though cuz I have yet to hear from them. Last nite I applied for the city of irvine (I know the commute is kinda long but the pay is good) for a part time community services senior leader-high school action youth team. THen I also applied for a Title I tutor for the orange county dept. of ed. Maybe that will be my own prayer in the next week is to help me find a job and decide where He wants me to go. 

BIGGEST LOSER: Attempting to go through the diet process again, I entered into the 'Biggest Loser' contest through the HYFA ministry. My group's called 'Fysh n chicks' w/em and danni, I think the other two are doing pretty well. Last week I was doing pretty well until my birfday weekend came and then it all went down hill from there. ha So now I'm trying to get back up there again. I was suppose to run w/a couple of kids this mornign but they didnt call me so maybe they didnt end up running. Rob and I worked out last week and that was cool, felt good after that work out session. Maybe that will be my other prayer request...to win the biggest loser challenge ha!

LOOK ROOMS: I was at Nordstroms the other day and the lady who worked there showed us to this 'look room.' Oh man I felt like a total designer...the look room is this special room for Nordstrom card holders. THey have all the upcoming stuff for the fall line at a special anniversary price. The cool thing too is that they have one for each dept. There were some shoes that I saw that I wanted! I guess errNordstroms has it, you juss gotta ask to see if you can take a peek into their 'look room.' 

ENTOURAGE: At the end of last month I got into a new show to start watching in the fall. Last summer it was heroes, this summer it's entourage. Its normally on HBO and its about this young aspiring actor trying to make it big in hollywood, giving you a glimpse of the day to day 'glamorous life, ' and all the stuff he has to work for to make it big. I finished season 3 part 2 last nite so now I'm on to start working on this past season to catch up. I got hooked juss watching a couple of episodes and so then I went oout the next day to buy season 1-3, the nice thing is that it's only 30 min. episodes so its easier to catch up, unlike when I was trying to catch up w/watching lost...man that was a tough one! Id hate trying to catch w/seasons 1-4 now haha I guess this is it until next time...please pray for a safe trip!
