"They say, "God told me", or "God replied to me". And yet most of the time they are talking to themselves..."
BEEN AWHILE: I cant even remember the last time I sat down to blog. It still amazes me how I was able to blog on a daily basis before. Now it's like I'm lucky if I blog on at least once a month. Crazy times! Oh yeah makeitclap celebrated its 5th birfday! Im glad to see that this site is still up and running, even after all these years. Ive thought bout juss shutting down altogether, but like with many other things I've put too much work into it. Anyway, so much to say not enough time and I know as tradition I know I normally do a 'year in review.' However, this year I think I'll change up the tradition a little bit and do a year in review with pictures. I know there has been at least one highlight each month. On a side note 2009 wow!!!
JANUARY 2008-The year started off fundraising some more with one of the biggest fundraisers of the year with Adopt a Youth. Asking the community to help send me and others to WYD in Sydney, Australia.
FEBRUARY-Helping the youf open up their doors to Christ in the youf ministry annual retreat. I have to say that I really loved the location, the fresh air, the big facility...yup cant go wrong. Then another WYD fundraiser with the 'I Believe in Love' Valentine's dinner dance fundrasier. Good food, good entertainment, and good people! I love dressing up! Oh yeah, I was given the chance to be a sponsor for RCIA this year too that was pretty inspiring. It helped remind me of that first time I fell in love with God. Continued to serve the parish in the annual lenten fish fry dinners, which are always fun. Congress with youf day has been a tradition that I've kept on going to since like '03. Like the Cerritos mall I always seem to run into people I know there. Holidays in February is somethign I always look forward to. Lunch and photoshoot and good times with friends...I love it. Debuts, debuts
MARCH-Easter came early this year. As I said earlier, being a sponsor for RCIA was humbling and watching my canidate well not juss mine but all the other ones receive their sacraments for the first time maan gives you that warm feeling inside. During Spring Break took a trip down to LMU to watch a show called 'Standing Room Only.'
APRIL-Season I cant even keep track of Confirmation passed. ANother year, another class however this season was definetly one of my favorite ones. It was a little earlier then normal, but it was coo it was done and out of the way. More debuts and the highlight of the month meeting the love of my life! Ms. Ramiele Malubay! ha
MAY: Weddings and more good times w/mr. mandongo. A friend's 30th birfday party on those booze type of cruises. Drinks were coo, food was aiight, theme was coo.
JUNE: Graduations galore!! T-minus one month before leaving on a jetplane to australia! Made new friends, more debuts, and I got to see N.E.R.D in person and got my cd autographed by them!
JULY: World Youth Day, my 26th birfday, Cherry's 21st...and that was July.
AUGUST: I had a the opportuntiy to chair YPR 2008. It made me miss planning events. Abby left to go to Boston. Victorian Tea, WYD Reunion, SCRC it was a busy rest of the summer.
SEPTEMBER: Got rehired back at Centralia School District, however different job title and different skool. A little dissapointed cuz you know it's change but I've managed. Im happy I have a job. Jaime leaves UTC, out with old core and in with the new, Bonfire, and FPAC.
OCTOBER: Oktoberfest, Oktoberfest, Oktoberfest! Oh yeah I went back to skool and started half semester classes.
NOVEMBER: Micah's Wedding and Thanksgiving.
DECEMBER: And it brings us back to 'do...' Caroling, Christmas, Christmas Parties
"Nothing compares, nothing compares to you..." im done, im out God bless
