TO A CLOSE: It felt like this month lasted forever! So much went on all the way to the very end of the month. From graduations, birfdays, interviews, celebrations galore! I juss thinking how at around this time we were all excited to go to hawaii. Its amazing how juss a week ago, how did its first performance at holy fam. Time keeps on rolling by hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second...day by day, step by step(get it?) hahaha July hurrrrrrr we come!!!

DISSAPOINTED: So I didnt get my stupid office, in fact they juss moved another desk into the office, so errone has their own now. I blame that on my stupid supervisor agh! If he wouldnt of been oa and juss agreed. Sometimes I really dont understand his mind set, I mean he got a promotion a pretty nice one, I've been there for three 3 years I think I deserve a little something on top of all that Im taking a huge responsibility with this youf action alliance. I think imma still look for that new job opportunity and take it if it comes.

SLACKING: Ive been slacking off the daily devotionals, I need to get caught up on that. I think Ill type them up all on word and then send them out at one time, so I can get back on track on sending those out. Ive also need to get back on track...literally on that track! It juss hard cuz 'ron' doesnt want to go on the track anymore oh why?! Its fun when you have someone to run with so you can talk bout wha happened in the office that day haha jk Forreal though it is easier when you have someone there to motivate you to keep going. I was on a good role for 2 weeks, then I lost it all! Oh why?! Jay da banker said to me last week bout me gaining weight, 'i juss dont want you to let yourself go man...' maan he makes it seem like I've gotten real fat! Imma make a fatty fatty club so if you wnat to join let me know, I'll make membership cards for all of us.

MOVING YOUR FEET: I had read this quote on someone's profile bout moving your feet. How we cant ask God to help us move our feet if we're not willing to make the first step. Speaking for myself, I have a tendency to ask God for something to happen and yet I can be too stuborn to meet him halfway on it. I dont necessarily want to say compromise, cuz whatever GOd asks of us we should juss be submissive but He does ask of us to make some type of effort as well. It was something that kinda jumped out at me.

THREE YEARS: Tomorrow marks my 3 year anniversary in the city of stanton. I wasnt sure if I was going to make it to 3 years, but apparently here I am still working. I must admit the city hsa been really good to me in so many different aspects. I cant complain bout the pay cuz I know I make a lot more then other part time jobs. Every once in a while we get these nice little raises that makes it even better. My dept. is a fun one to work in, even though I hate working special events! Ive seen it all people coming and going, and I wonder why Im still here after so many have come in and left moving on w/their lives. Sheesh I remember when it was only had 3 rec leaders, I even remember when it was only me working! Now were up to like wha almost 10? Theyre supportive in what I do and I have the freedom in a sense to do what I want-in regards to programming at least. My boss and I were juss talking bout on Sunday, that every person that I've brought in has been a good fruits. Now my supervisor thas another story, he always hires the bad fruits. ha Anyway, 3 years and counting...we'll see how much longer Ill be there.

CELEBRATE: The celebration starts this weekend! 4th of July here we come full of bbqs, fireworks, games, food, and more! I guess it isnt a good idea to work out this week, since I know I'll be eating and drinking all weekend long. Then tuesday, I shall be the infamous 23, ha its not really infamous I juss made that up. Anyway, Im excited its gonna be a great weekend! Potluck party on saturday, abe's birfday party on sunday...woOoo! A week of never ending celebrations!

ALMOST THERE: I ahve so many things to start working on for spirit games, its amazing how fast time come. So I thinkwe finally may have a spirit games venue, I dont want to say anything to jinx it until its officially signed and all that jazz. Im praying it all work out, cuz let me tell you it has been one heck of a venue journey for the whole committee, but I think God was juss telling us to keep going, not to give up or give in but to keep praying. Thanks Lord for the little reminders you send us along the way. To never give up but always keep rejoicing, for we know you always provide!

CONFERENCE: YFC conference this weekend! I wish I couldve gone, but it was all the way in freakin o-Hi-ooooooooo! Last year was the very first time I went and it was a memorable one cuz it was the 10th anniversary. I wish I was able to fully enjoy the conference but cuz it was summerfest weekend I couldnt. I was driving back and forth to riverside two nites in a row. I loved conference though it was a lot fun. It was inspiring to see these youf coming from all over the world giving their hearts to GOd. THe Holy Spirit was defiently moving all over that weekend. Youf falling down left and right from being so touched by the spirit. Then dropping spirit games fliers all over the ucr campus like it was some type of club! haha I totally marked my territory that weekend. Good times...

A Living Work of Art

GOOD NEWS: I got a 5% raise today, well it actually doest take affect until july 1st but its still a nice added bonus. Im making more than I've ever made in my entire life! ha In fact I think I make really good money for a part time job. I know other cities dont pay as much for recleaders or juss other places in general dont pay as much as I make now. Im not trying to be boastful, I'm juss excited for the extra fity cent increase in my pay! woo! The other exciting part is that I might be getting office space after all! It may not be the best one, but beggers cant be choosers. So I guess I have ot be satisified with whatever I end up getting. All these new changes is making it more difficult to leave. I feel like I'm stuck in a bind, its like wha if I get offered a new job wha then do I do?!

MONOPOLY: This afternoon before all the kids came in, I was playing monopoly with my co workers and a couple early bird kids. Ive always enjoyed playing board games like 'life,' 'monopoly' etc. I realized you dont need to own a whole bunch of property to win, you juss gotta buy the right ones. So I bought the whole states avenue block w/a hotel on each one of those spaces and a hotel on the boardwalk and park place. Maaan my coworkers were going broke landing all my properties. It was funny cuz my other coworker had to sell back his property cuz he was going in debt! He owened bof utilitie companies and all 4 railroads and it still wasnt enough for him. The funny part was making deals w/errone, I love that game!

GREAT FOOD: I was invited to eat w/boss lady and rob tonite at the house! yay! Ron made this real good seafood fried rice along with baked salmon! It was really good that I had to go back for more! Rob is a great chef, I remember last summer he made me a burr omlette, which I've only had once, and he's never made it for me again. Then we were looking at my picture on their fridge saying how we could see how fatty I am in that picture. Ahh I need to get back in the mode of running again. Soon before you know by the end of summer Imma be blimp! Even though I dont believe in karma its funny how a while back ago I was noticiing to myself how certain people have gained weight. I guess the tables were turned ha and now its my turn. Oh why?! Why cant I be skinny again!

THE COFFEE SHOP: As long Ive known my current coworkers, all of us have never really informally gotten together. So I randomly invited errone to see if they were down for some starbucks. It was fun cuz all of the rec leaders came except for like 4 out of wha almost 10 of us? It was juss fun swaping stories bout when we got yelled, sharing advice w/each other juss a real informal kick back. Even jesty was there, which was cool. I love my coworkers cuz theyre so easy to get along with and laugh with. Having people you enjoy working with, really helps make the job pleasant.

WHAT TO DO: I have a friend who was asking for some advice last nite, its kinda an tough situation. So he's been with his girl for a little over a year now, they go to skool together and her family likes him blah blah blah. The only thing that I guess holds them back sometimes is the whole faith thing. She's protestant and as of recently theyve been having faith issues. Here's the other part, my friend rekindled an ol friendship w/an old elementary skool classmate. Lately, they've been talking a lot on the phone, they went to the beach the other day and he's gotten really into her. He likes the fact she's catholic, juss not practicing. Though he keeps telling me this girl is amazing, they share the same common interests, they think the same way etc. I told him if he's unhappy w/his current state, then he needs to end it. He cant go on frontin in this current relationship pretending everything is all good, when inside he's not completely happy. Yet at the same time, he could be so into this new girl right now that well, he's in a sense blinded. I juss told him to keep praying and seek guidance from a priest or something. Whas your opinion?

A GOOD ONE: Fr. Brennan had a good homily on sunday, that I've been meaning to talk bout it but I keep forgetting. The readings last week all deal with the common theme of hospitality. Instead of talking bout being hospitable and showing kindness to others, he kinda took different spin to it. During the summer we all get prepared to take a vacation, we make reservations, basically we put all this effort and energy into doing that. However, there are others who are so addicted to life that well they dont take a vacation. Yet in the end of it all, we need to take a step back and ask ourselves, 'wha is our relationship w/God?' 'How do I treat others?' 'Am I content in my spiritual vision.' He stressed how this year we should make a vacation for ourselves to get away, spend as much time as you do planning for a vacation into planning a spiritual retreat for ourselves.

The Struggle

WHACK: I was hoping to move into my new office yesterday, or start moving into it. So my boss, my director comes by and we were juss talking and he tells me that I guess my direct supervisor is being OA bout the whole office thing. I thought to myself thas straight out gaaaay! Starting july 1, he's getting a brand new position title, a raise, and he cant let me juss have an office?! Whatta hater! Agh! I guess the job search is still on hand! No new office=time to abandon ship! haha Although, I will have the youf action alliance under my list of responsibilities now...that is until I find something else worth while.

SLEEPY: The word to describe how I was feeling at work, ha its hard trying to find things to do to keep busy. I knew my supervisors werent gonna come yesterday to check things out, so it was easier to sit and do nothing ha Then I had a couple of kids come and we ended up playing like 10 games of fooseball, that woke me up. I think I was tired cuz we bought mcdonalds then I ate it after setting things up, then I wanted to juss go to sleep after ha. IT was tempting to go into the other room and take a small nap for like an hour. Geez, I can only imagine doing that then getting caught, ha then I'd really have to search for another job!

UPSET: I juss hate when things are assumed or when things are misunderstood. People getting things from other sources, instead of juss asking the direct source. It ends up getting other people worked up for no reason. Its like those people get all excited and see them white things. Then you hear it from someone else and it gets you upset cuz its something totally not true. I guess we juss live in a world today that people dont want to bother to go directly to the source instead have others do it for them. Oh well, some things juss wont ever change.

JANET PHASE: So Ive been dloading all these janet jackson songs as of lately. Ive always loved janet's songs, especially in the early 90's. Those were the jams you can dance to. Jams like 'if' 'love will never do' etc. It makes you juss want to get up and start going crazy. On top of all that her coreography has always been freakin tight. She's got some of the best music videos cuz of all that hardcore coreography. REmember the rhythym nation video? Or how bout the remake to 'dont know what you got till its gone' w/qtip and joni mitchel? That was the jam too! Im not too into a lot of the newer songs, but I did love from 2000 'doesn't really matter' from the nutty professor 2 soundtrack. Janet jackson is freakin tight too bad her brother isnt the same! ha

SPIRIT GAMES: It's coming along slowly, we're now looking into using el dorado park as a facility. I hope this one really works out, the stage is there already and everything. The weird thing is we dont have to get a special event permit cuz the park is a national park. So apparently we dont have to go through the city, but through the park itself. This one really sounds do able, the other opition is well holding in stanton ha! Stanton...where all catholic community event comes true! Cross your fingers and fold your hands...lets pray it works out! Then everything else can finally fall into place, Im in charge of liturgy adn opening ceremonies.

BEEN A WHILE: Christy's party was cool cuz there were people who I hadnt seen in a long time. For example gail was there, I havent talked/seen her in a long time. It was cool I told her she needs to go back online cuz we dont talk anymore. Then we were talking bout our ol jokes we use have when she would write notes to herself, 'dear gail from the past...or dear future gail...' haha classics! I love hooking up w/old friends and juss laughing bout stupid things. Fun times at the nini mansion!

The Party Juss Dont Stop

LAST ONE: A very special birfday shout out goes out to fr. paul. One of my favorite augustians cuz he takes me out to lunch every once in a while haha jk I love him cuz he's soo understanding of everything I tell him. I always tell him that he has a great gift of listening and understanding. Thas why I always feel comfortable telling him the stuff thas going on in my life. He has helped me so much within these past couple years spiritually. Even though I'm sad he wont be at the parish anymore, its still a blessing to know he's only 20 min. away. So here you go fr. cheers to you!

REOPENING: Saturday, we had a grand reopening of the second to last park to get remodled. It was pretty big turn out, I was in charge of the bbq and oh man the line was never ending. People juss kept coming back to the line for moe, probably cuz it was free. Its a pretty big park, a nice one to do spirit games like a small magnitude of uci. Anyway, the set-up wasnt that bad, actually eerrthang went real smooth. IT was the first event I've gone to in ages, so Im glad it was done and over with. I got to hang out w/jesty there, showing him all the special diginitary people for the city, he's so fun to work with. The best part of the whole thing was getting off early! yay! My boss let me go earyl cuz he knew I was helping him the next morning!

JUSS DONT STOP: After the grand opening, went to my cousin's house for their grad. party. I was glad there was still koren bbq left over. My aunt makes the best korean bbq ribs! Then I had fun playing with my little cousin, she's so cute the way she talks. She tried to say my name too. I missed out on the softball game, they all played oh well. Anyway, I was checking out my cousins yearbook from kennedy and that son was thick! I dont like yearbooks w/all this text and long paragraphs ha juss keep it simple with descriptions, not an essay on wha theyre doing in the picture.

DRINKS FOR ALL: WEnt to bjs later on that nite with jei, reirich, and fred. Everytime we go there it always ends up being us three. Its funny cuz as we were sitting there it kinda reminded me of the simpsons, where everytime homers at the bar, its always the same 2 other guys w/him. It was juss funny cuz I was dazing off thinking bout that as they were sitting there talking. Im suprised the bar area wasnt jam packed, usually you cant find seating in the bar area.

BRING IN DA NOISE: I have these neighbors across the street and sometimes they'll be bumpin their music real late at nite. Even during the day, theyre out in their yard or driveway doing something while getting crunk w/their music. Well when I got home from my cousins party, there was this loud hip hop music playng, I automatically assumed it was coming from across the street. WEll being it was already 10pm, I called the popos and told them bout noise pollution, they said they were gonna send someone over. THe music was so loud that even my aunt could hear it from her side on monroe. She even called to and got the same response Well my sister went over there to tell them to turn it down, but ti wasnt even them! ha It was the neighbors behind them that was causing all the rucus. I left to go to bjs and when I came back the music was still playing! I said this is ridiculous, its past 12am and the music is still playing. I called the popos again and complained, the same response, 'well send someone over.' Like 10 min. after I called the music stopped. So I was wondering if they really did send someone over, ha well I was so curious I had to go check it out for myself. Sure enough, I get to the street and there are 2 squad cars there haha! yesss!

SERVICE: My boss called me on fri asking if I could help him move these nuns. His family has been close friends w/these french nuns for a couple of years now. A couple of them have taught his son since pre skool, and they help tutor/watch him couple days a week. Well to make a long story short, they wanted to start a skool out here in the diocese but the bishop declined them cuz they were a religous order. They found a skool out in daygo to go teach at, so they were packing up and moving out there. I cant remember the exact order cuz its some long french name, all I know is that theyre real cool. So I woke up real early on sunday to meet at my bosses house to drive down to tustin.

MOVING: We first had to go to their tutor center and pack up desks, boards, shelves, chairs, maan we cleaned that place up. There's only 4 of them over here in the states, the rest of them are in france at the mother house. There's only 125 I think of them altogether world wide left. Its tight cuz they still dress in the full black habit and everything. From head to toe they were in their habits, wow talk bout devotion to their vocation! After the tutor center we went to their convent and moved almost everything out of there too. ITs a nice 4 bedroom house a lot of things to move. Im juss glad things were packed up and ready to go. It was great having a lot of people there ot help, made things go smoother. There was this family there helping and they had I wanna say like 4-5 kids and half were home skooled and half were goign to catholic skool. IT was pretty crazzy one was going to ave maria in florida! They fed us french chocolate and hand squeezed lemonade! ha yum

BRUNCH: Afterwards, my boss treated me out to el torito for brunch w/him and his family. They have a good selection, their waffles are really good! Then the omlettes they make too! You tell them wha you in it and then they make it for you. Along with the typical stuff like enchiladas, beans, rice, and all the other mexican food. All I needed was a nice cold drink like pina coloada to go with it! ha I was so stuffed after the first round, that I had to froce myself to go back for one more ha juss so my boss got his money worth! haha Went back to his house and we juss chilled talking bout work politics and work chismiss. Its funny I always get the external chissmiss like whas going on in other depts. but I dont get the internal juice like internal stuff. Anyway, Im glad I helped cuz now I might be getting my own office out of it! hahah yay! Yup, I know how to play the game alright! Oh yeah I might be getting added responsibility also like taking care of our youf action alliance, the teen leadership for the city.

HIS LAST ONE: Fr. Brennan celebrated his last mass @ sPv last nite. It was sad, cuz he's been at the parish for 19 years. I loved him one of my other favorite ones at the parish. So towards the end of his homily he talked bout serving at the parish how this is his last mass and all that jazz. Then afterwards the whole parish stood up and gave him a standing ovation. He said after, 'I dont know whether to feel like the pope or president bush!' haha it was sad the lady who was doing the announcements, you could tell sshe wanted to cry. Awww I miss them all!

HOLY FAMILY: I missed out on the holy family lss, I wanted to go but things didnt exactly turn out that way. So I thought errone would be there still after mass, but errone was leaving. It was still cool cuz I got to eat, tita norma saved me a plate! yay! Then this one tita came up to me and she goes, 'are you japanese?' haha thas a new one I never gotten that one before. Then achie told her, no he's filipino tita. SHe goes 'Ooh I like your beautiful eyes' hahahah wha she really meant was, 'I cant see your eyes, but youre beautiful still!' hahaha So then peebs said I can represent the whole contintent of asia, next time I'll be vietnamese then the next one I can be lao hahahaa

CRUNK: After holy family I went to christy's grad. party, at the nini manor. Oh man the party was crackin alright! There was a bounce house in the driveway, karaoke going on in garage and in the living room, halo going on upstairs, people chillin on the balcony, and foooooooooooood galore! It was tight, there was no need for a dj cuz errone pretty much entertained themselves. There was so much going on it felt like grad nite all over again ha! Charisse's 'I will survive' performance was freakin a classic! haha it was soooo funny! Then ray valiente doing 'ice ice baby' hahha Agh then I ended up having to do one also! So I did lost in emotion, ha it was fun errone was singing along I felt so nervous though ha! Hmm playing mafia was cool, using 'discernment' and killing two of the 3 mafias. Then getting the 4th round, I got killed oh why?! Battling w/myron while courtney gave us the beats on the magic mic, 'tag your man, tag your man' oOoooOh! hahahhahaah Oh yeah, I also got to meet reirich's gf, I think Im like the last one to meet her. She's a nice person, I said so I finally get to meet you ha I've heard so much about you!

Just Can't Get Enough

NEW WAYS: So now on blogger you can upload like 300mb worth of pictures to your blog. Its cool cuz there's this new way to post. A simplier and easier way, now I dont have to use picasa anymore. Its cool cuz you can format the pictures certain ways, like you can align to the left or the center or the right. Pretty neat all the new stuff blogger is adding one. I remember when we'd have to use angelfire to upload stupid pictures. wOoO! thanks blogger for making picture posting as easy as 1,2,3! I juss hope it doesnt push my tagboard and stuff to the bottom of my blog now.

TURNING BACK: Remember how I was talking bout last week when there was this convo. bout top 5 things? When many of us were talking bout our top 5 fav songs and all that other stuff, then we said top 5 powers. Well I wish I could turn back the hands of time to last wed. Remember how I couldnt juss stop talking out spirit games and how much I loved it blah blah. Then how errone was getting sick and tired of hearing bout spirit games? ha well thas how I feel bout last wed., I still cant stop thinking bout it, let alone talking bout it! Im still in awe even today of juss how amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing it was! It certainly was an unforgettable & memorable evening!

EVERYWHERE: There's this guy who works at the video store I go to, and I see him freakin everywhere! Apparently, fred thinks he's my friend, but he's juss someone I know. I saw him on monday going into lucielles while we were outside. Then last nite I ran into him again at fridays its like sheesh if I dont see you at the video store then I see you elsewhere. He must be stalker guy or something, following me haha

CONFERENCE ROOM2b: It was nice not having to rush out of the conference room this morning. Now that I have to go to work earlier, I dont get to stay in the conference room as long. So it was cool taking it easy and not worrying bout having to go somewhere or anything like that. Im so forgetful I left my sunglasses at holy fam the other nite after my interview. I called to make sure it was there and sure enough it was. The inconvient part was driving down there again to pick them up agh!

TGIFRIDAYS: Well because it was friday I had to go to fridays ha jk. Had lunch w/rob since he always complains that we dont go to have lunch anymore. In fact we havent had a baon day in a long time, we're on this new thing now where we take turns picking a place to eat then treating. So it was my treat this time...oh why?! haha I think we should juss go back to the simple baon days at the block simple and easy! haah It was funny the host guy after seating us goes to me, 'is hot in here?' I said no it was alright it seemed fine to me. THen he comes back like 2 min. saying he told his manager we were complaining cuz it was a little too hot. Ha then she comes back(the manager) and asks us if we were a little hot, I said yeah its a little. So she moved us down stairs to another booth, where it was a lot cooler. Yet after we moved it took us forever to get served, then when we did we have a weird kinda server guy. He was cool though cuz he didnt charge us for our drinks.

ONE LAST TIME: Went to go visit fr. paul, its probably gonna be last time to reallly visit him before he leaves. He was telling me how his new assignment at St. Vincent, how he has an office and juss more responsiblities. Its gonna be a weird change for a little bit to get use to. Not having the convience of juss going to sPv and talking to him whenever. Fr. Ray leaves on tues. and errone else is leaving on thurs. to their new assignment, except fr. kevin. Then he asked me for a favor to drive up to orange on the 16th and drop him off for his class. I didnt mind, well its hard kinda hard saying no. ha Oh yeah I also told him bout that one priest in pasadena who didnt want me calling him 'father.' He found that kinda odd too.

MOYAS ALL DAY, ALL NITE: I felt like I was at the moyas all day yesterday, ha but I wasnt. Anyway, I went there to get my hair did but it didnt exactly work out that way. We ended up going to wal mart to get oil and stuff for his car. It was fun going to wal mart though ha playing w/the light saber, looking for that game sequence, but only finding 'scene it!' hahaa then pushing him on the cart and letting go but it didnt go too far haha. THen we went to k btoys to look for the game, but didnt have it either. So we were in sears walkinng ot hte door, well walking face racing to the door, and I wasnt paying attention and I ran into the cart holder, ha it was funny. Oh yeah then when we went back to the car after wal mart he I locked him out of the car and he tried to unlock the door by sticknig his hand through the window. Then I started to roll up the window and it kinda squished his arm. Awww kawawa burr then he got real paranoid the rest of the car ride putting his arm on the window. haha I love hanging out w/the burrr!!! yay! Oh yeah jamming to steieve b. 'spring love' on the way home. 'Okay you do second voice...' Spring loooooooooooooove(Springtime love is on my mind and I won't forget)come back to meeeeeeeeeeee hahaha yay!

Where Does It All Go?

WHY I LOVE FRIDAYS: I love fridays so much cuz its my day off of a hectic, busy week of work. Away from the oa kids that I work with 4 hours a day, away from the mean ol customers who complain here and there bout nothing, away from it all. A time to sleep in and not have to worry about going to work. A time to take care of the errands that I'm too tired to do during the week. A time to juss relax and enjoy the day after a busy and yes sometimes stressful week of work. And thas why I love fridays, even though it can get boring cuz no one else has fridays off. ha But I still love fridays!

CHILLUSY: Ha thas the word to describe work today, chill but busy at the same time. So you know how I was saying I basically have kinda like 2-3 hours of dead time before all the kids come in? Ha well some girls were waiting for me when I pulled up to my site today. Oh why?! i wanted to juss set up and then sit and do nothing until all the other kids came in. Agh they ruined my flow of things! ha Well instead of doing some type of project w/them I juss told them to color the coloring sheets. Whatta creative rec leader I am, I know...ha I sit and count the hours until its time to go home. A plus is I got to go home 30 min. early today!

KICKING MYSELF: Im totally kicking myself cuz I really wanted my friend to get a job w/me. Unfortunately it didnt work out the way I was hoping it would. Well I totally prepped him for his invtw. he was having this afternoon. Told him the questions they were most likely going to ask him and told him how to answer it. The only thing I failed to tell him was the part of letting them he was flexible bout scheduling. He told him he was only gonna be local until skool started in sept. Oh why?! YOu never say that during a job invtw! He basically wouldve gotten the job, had he not said that. AhhhH!! I wish we could totally turn back the hands of time and change things!

HOLY FAM INTERVIEW: I had my 4th interview at holy fam cathedral today in orange. That pretty much wraps up the whole interviews w/for the youf ministry positions. Well kinda they want me to come back to pasadena and Im suppose to get a 2nd interview for St. Joseph's in placentia. Anyway, I got there really early, I juss thought maybe they'd be able to get me in earlier. It didnt work out that way, so I sat in the office and prayed for a little while. THe interview went well, it was real different unlike other interviews. We were in the dinning room table and there was 4 people interviewing me, the pastor, current youf minsiter, his wife, and some other two guys. The reason why it was weird cuz during the interview theyd joke around w/each other or share inside jokes. They told me they liked me, and they were looking for someone who had a lot of energy and was young. Apparently, the process might take a little longer then expected. THe current youf minister juss got a new job, so now theyre looking for someone to do that full time. FOr the most part though they seemed real pleased w/wha I had to say and offer. Perferrably, I'd rather work with high skoolers, rather then jr. high, but beggers cant be choosers. We'll see wha happens in the next month.

DRAWING A BLANK: It seemed like errone was a fridays tonite, then again in cerritos youre always bound to run into someone you know. I ran into this guy named chris, who was friends w/my ol skool crew friends. It was so funny cuz I completely drew a blank when it came to remembering his name. Heif was laughing at me cuz normally when it comes to remembering people I'm pretty good. Then I saw jay da banker there also w/some of his friends. That foo goes to me, 'hey man did you gain weight?' hah oh why?! Its been 2 weeks since I've last taken a run on the track, but its only been wha an hour since I last ate...agh! I ate so much I nearly split my pants! haha

SPEECHLESS: What can I say bout tonite? Nothing except praise God! Okay, there's more to say but Praise God tops it all. The nite was a total success, it was huge they ended up having to bring out more chairs in the middle cuz people kept popping in them doors. As I sat from my corner and watched these talented give their thanks to God, I was amazed. I couldnt help but juss smile and feel sooooo proud of them! Giving everything they had back to God. I cant wait to hear what the cd sounds like. It was amazing, gosh the spirit truly took its place tonite filling up the room with fire.

THE JOURNEY: It has been a long journey for all of us in HOW. God opened a door for us that we never even expected. We gave our 'yes' and everything juss seemed to fall right into place. Of course there were some rough spots, definitely some challenges, yet God gave us grace to get through it all. I was so inspired and so in awe on how hOw has grown within these past couple of months. The journey is not even close to over yet, in fact this is only the beginning of whatever else lies in store for us ahead of time. Though I'm excited to see all this upcoming stuff! We journey together hand in hand to continue to share the love of God w/others.

THINGS MADE POSSIBLE: Tito rudy who has been there for us from the very beginning. There at every single practice, helping us along the way. Feeding us, so our stomachs are aways full. Opening the doors for us errday pretty much. He help light that path for us to get us started . Its soo great the many different people who contributed to making last nite possible w/o them it wouldnt of been wha it was. There was also carlo, who manned the mixer help set-up and getting the equipment we needed, basically all around sound tech. Then there also was tita mila, who also has been so supportive of us since day one. THank you Lord for sending us wonderful people who have been so awesome to us from the very beginning.

SMILES ALL AROUND: Last nite was something to really smile about. Smiles on the face and on the hearts of all, smiles cuz of their love for God. A smile on my face cuz it was a blessing to stand(well not exactly stand since I wasnt on stage)but juss to be able to serve w/these souls who have given their errthang in making the nite wha it was. The solos were touching and inspiring that one couldnt wait to dload the song and start singing it themselves. Even the youf that were there enjoyed it so much that they were up in the front dancing and juss moving to the spirit. I loved it!

SUPPORT: One of the other great things that took place, was juss seeing the familiar faces out there. I think it meant a lot to all of us to see friends and family come out to support. I mean heck even myron, topher, and jeanette from SOL was there. I didnt even expect to see them there last nite. Dorthee and jei as well as jill and derrick also were there which was cool. Its always exciting to see people you know come out and show their love. To those who prayed for us, thank you as well. The spirit was moving all over the place nite, it was like were juss wrapped around in His love. Its like you ask why sometimes to God cuz you sit there scratching your head cuz you really dont understand but later on He shows you the reason why. So thanks again to those who prayed for us and those who came out.

MISSING: I cant seem to find my sunglasses and my sunglasses is a REAL necessity to me. I dont even care if I get a tan from them. I hate driving w/the sun in my eyes, I hate being outside doing stuff w/the sun in my eyes. Ahh! I came home on tues. and I dont even know wha happen after that. I hope they show up cuz I really need them especially during work hours. St. Anthony help me find my sunglasses!!! ***EDIT I found them, theyre at my grandmas house! WooO!***

THE STANDS ARE OUT: One of my favorite parts of summer is when you start to see the firework stands being put out. It gives me this exciting I dont know like tingly feeling inside juss cuz I know my birfday is coming! When I was younger I remember going to bed early on the 4th, so my birfday would come faster. haha Ah yes the smell of fireworks and firework stands I love it! Its cool how there are other people who I share the same day with, before I didnt know anyone who had the same birfday as me. Yay for july 5th kids! woOoO!! Oh yeah I also have this tradition where I always buy fireworks, but put some aside and save them for next year.

CLEANING UP: One of the things I hate is when my kids dont clean up. They start an activity or project, but then dont bother to help clean up. Agh! It bugs cuz I have to sit and waste time telling them to clean up when they could've juss done it and be done with it. Then wha I hate also is when they dont bother to help errone else clean up. More time is spent wasting time telling them and reminding them to do small things like this, when that time and energy could be spent elsewhere. That happened at work yesterday and it juss put me in this ugly mood.

SNAPSHOTS: I cant wait to see the pictures that my cousins took from last nite. He had one of those hardcore digicams the lens on that thing was huge! It was tight cuz I went around taking pics w/errone and she followed me taking them. They both got some really good shots of errone last nite. I tried but it was hard to focus on power point and take the pictures at teh same time. ha but its cool cuz I got some! yay! We'll I'll end it here cuz dani says my blogs are too long haha

SIDE NOTE: One more thing before I wrap up this entry, juss how great and hospitable of a parish Holy Family is. They took us in and made us feel like...ahh yes family! Oh yeah on more thing, speaking of Holy Family; pray for me I have an intvw tonite @ holy family cathedral for jr. high youf minister. The fun juss doesnt end! yay!

NEW CHAPTER: I was reading noreen's blog bout new chapters and new beginnings and this is exactly wha hOw is. Its amazing how everything kinda fell into place. Aela and I were talking bout how God has totally provided for us. From the very beginning, He has constantly given us the things we needed. Im excited for tonite, I'm excited for this new beginning, I'm excited for the things to come still. After weeks of preperation of getting things together, the day is finally here. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to juss totally consume all of us. Would of thought...Wow How! Oh yeah, come join HOW at Holy Family in Artesia for a nite of songs and prayers. 7pm! We'd love to see you there!!!

BORING: I need to bring something to do during the dead time at work. Our program starts at 12pm, yet there really isnt any kids cuz most of them are in skool still. So between 12-3pm it's pretty dead, nothing exciting going and there isn't anything really to do. Maybe I'll bring a book or somethign to keep me from getting so bored! Ahh I'm so anxious to get out of the city already juss want something to open up!! It's getting tiring doing the same routine every single day. Better yet, I juss wish I didnt have to work! ha Ideally that'd be the best thing to win the lotto and then juss quit my job. :Sigh: if only dreams came true, if only I was lucky...ha

SPLISH SPLASH: We bought two slip and slides for the kids at the center. It was funny you shouldve seen the kids come running across the street w/their towels. There was one kid who juss took off all his clothes and ran through the thing w/only his underwear. I guess it was a pretty hot day to run through a refreshing cold swim. THen you had some of these older guys who were running through it w/their shirts on. It was juss funny watching these kids run through it, like they've never gone through it before.

SMALL WORLD: It's so funny when I walked into holy fam tonite, I ran into my cousin. Well, more less my second cousin, but still it was funny. I dindt know she knew jennifer! It was cool catching up and talking bout whas going on. She use to be real close to my cousin, but they arent anymore. SHes like an occupational therapist and so she was sharing wha she does, and wow thsa a lot of work. I could see how draining that could be juss emotionally and mentally. Its a challenging job dealing w/probation type children and their families. Although, I'm sure its interesting to see wha kind of things kids are getting into.

Got Throught It...

FIRST DAY: The first day of summer programming is always the most difficult one to get through. There's a lot of expectations on how things are set-up if things are going okay blah blah. My boss told me that our director was going to make site visits and expected the signs to be put up, juss the whole inviting type of scene. Anyway, he came by and he was impressed w/my site! wooO! Although there werent any kids at the time, we got errthang he wanted done. On top of all that there was more pressure on my part cuz they expect a lot from me, but praise God that first day is done and over with. Ahh I so want to get out of there!

IRRITABLE: Ive been real irritable w/people driving as of lately. Especially people who drive freakin soo slow! Most of the time it ends up being old people and asians. Its like youre driving, there's this car in front of you who is going so slow and there's no car in front of them. Aghh! So then I switch lane then look to see whos driving the car and yup it ends up being some asian person or old person. I think they get lost while driving, like their mind isnt fully there or something. Like my music teacher said before, instead of processing a P4, they're still processing a pII.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE: So once the kids got out of skool the center was pretty pack. All the kids came back and it was a bit overwhelming at first. ITs been a while since I've been out in the field working w/the kids. After spending a couple of months inside the center juss preparing for summer and other things. Well I pulled aside a couple of the older kids and I asked them to help me out for the summer. To help behave and juss be the role models for the other ones, then at the end of month I'd get them some type of incentive. Well see how long it lasts ha its gonna be one HOT summa!

KUCILLE'S: A lot of fun at kucille's for em's birfday. I was fortunate enough to make reservations cuz my cousin's uncle works thurr. Normally, they dont take any reservations, and even though we had to wait a little bit, it was still kinda worth it. Jennif and Dave were there it was cool kinda catching up w/jennif talking bout whas been going on and wha not. The food was great, I didnt get the chance to finish my ribs cuz it was so much, so I took it home for baon. Fun times making my rounds trying to talk to errone. Then showing my mr. owl how many licks does it take to get to the center of the tootsie pop example. hahha fun times indeed!

WINE LESSONS: The party moved over to the moyas, for some music, art, and wine tasting/lessons. Bob brought over like 3 different bottles of red wine from 2001-2003. I was sitting there listening to how you can tell the difference of the wine and the type of grape it all that stuff. It was cool sampling all 3 and trying to figure out which one is which. I dont even know if I had a favorite that nite, cuz they were all good. Ha except some were a little bit fruiter, tangier, then others. Ive never been to a wine tasting party, well not that this was really a party party but anyway wine tasting is fun. I think I've got such an acquired taste for red wine, that white wine doesnt really sit well w/me.

TEACHING STORIES: It was funny sitting at the table listening to bob and cenicio, share all these teaching stories. Kids who straight out copy things verbatum from the internet, parents who are upset cuz the think nothings wrong w/their children, admin. stories ha and the list keeps going. I think why society is so jacked up is cuz things are being reinforced at home. You have so many parents who juss dont even pay attention to their child's education or get involved and maybe thas why theyre so bad. Its not always bout the teacher or how the teacher teaches, agh parents sometimes are so ignorant. Im juss fortunate that my parents got involved and pay attention to skool things.

REJECTED: I got an email rejection letter from St. Thomas Moore Parish saying that after going through the first rounds of intvw. they found people who are more qualified then I was. Which kinda sucked, cuz juss cuz I may not be a master catcheist or have a ba, doesnt mean I dont know whas going on. There are plenty of people in the church today who are very knowledgeable bout church doctrine, yet dont have some type of certificate or degree. Watch they probably choose someone who is old like an elderly couple or something. Whatever, ha it their loss. On top of that all they did was base it on yes or no questions from an stupid phone interview. AghhH! I guess this juss means something else is in store for me...

HAPPY BIRFDAY: A very special shout out goes to my friend boss lady! yay! What I love bout boss lady is that she's loves action songs. Maybe not as much as I love to do them, ha but she still loves to have fun doing them. Another reason why she's cool is she's so much fun to be around. She one of those people who is always down to get all crazy and funky, when no one else will. Boss lady is creative, I mean heck she was the one who gave me the idea to make a blog book. The ideas she comes up with are so amazing its like whoa thas hardcore! ha I think one of things that I love so much about her, is that she's friendly. One of the first people in SH to befriend me. That time after errone went to support fcfc's coffee house, she(rob too) invited me to go and hang out w/them at rubios. Then the time she came to my class and showed my kids action songs. I'll never forget the talk she gave during youf alpha season one, that was the first tiime I met her. It was so inspirational that I had to go up and tell her after her testimony how powerful it was. Not only is she inspirational, but like her husband, she's talented musically as well. From singing, to playing the geetar, and now piano...wow! She helps motivate not only myself, but others to become better people. Sharing her faith not by words, but truly by the way she lives it. When you put all these qualities together, you get one beautiful soul inside and out. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful friend as her, who is so giving of herself that the light of God truly shines through her. So boss lady thanks for errthang, have a great birfday! yay!

OUT OF THE WAY: Okay, I've been meaning to blog bout this, but I always get too tired to talk bout it. Anyway, you know wha I hate bout myspace bulletins, besides the non-sense chain endless chain letters?! The people who have to post gay things like, 'check out my new pics.' AGh that really bugs me when I see stupid stuff like that. Errtime I see that I always think to myself, 'whooooooo currrrrrrrrrs!' Forreal though, okay so you have new pics?! Why do you feel the need to announce it to the whole world? Maybe they do it cuz they want attention and want to feel good or are begging for comments or I dont know wha it is. Anyway, I juss think its dumb cuz personally, I really dont curr if you have new pics or not ha Its not going to make me want to rush to your page and check em out. Alright, that was my venting session for the week.

MEMORIES: So on friday, one of my kids had asked me if I could drop him off at knotts. Apparently it was a last min. thing that his friends put together. I didnt really mind cuz it was only knotts, so I told him I'd drop him off. It was so funny cuz as I was getting closer to the drop off zone, I was thinking of the thing rob and I always joke bout. I dont know if you ever went to knotts when you were in like jr. high juss to 'hang out.' Well back when I was in jr. high knotts was the happenin place to be(and I think it'll always be that way too) juss to get away from the parents and kick it w/the homies. Anyway, the days where we couldnt drive so our mom or our friend's mom would pick us all up and then drop us off at the gate. Then you'd hear the whole lecture bout 'you be good now huh?!' or 'dont make trouble trouble ah!' 'here is $20 por your lunch.' I think you could make a whole pcn story bout knotts! ha Then at the end of teh day you needed to make sure you had enough change to use the payphone, to call home. ha! So when I got to the drop off zone, I told him 'be good now huh! dont make trouble trouble!' haha it was juss funny, maybe its juss an oc or bpc thing.

GREAT DAY: Friday was fun, my cousin and my godson came down from la to hang out for the day. It was something I was looking forward to all week, being I dont get to see my godson all the time. The first thing we did was get lunch at mc donalds, after I dropped off my application at centralia skool district. I asked him wha did he perfer, 'mc donalds' or 'in n out.' Of course, being he's only 4 he chose mcdonalds. So we had lunch at mcdonalds and he got his shark boy happy meal then played inside the playtoy for a while. Afterwards, I took them to my bosses house and we went swimming. It was a perfect day to go swimming cuz the sun was out and it was pretty warm outside. I miss having a pool and spa at my conveince, that was my only means of excercising during the summer months! ha Then walk around downtown disney, getting jamba juice and legos, finally ending the day back at my house. I was worn out, but I had a lot of fun.

LONELY: Since I was housesitting, I thought I'd invite peeps over for hol em to chill and what not. I even bought some beer at albertsons cuz it was $10 for 2 6 packs of coronas. Which was a really good and I rarely buy alcohol at the store. Oh yeah the girl bagging my drinks was the girl who was my youf alpha assitant like 2 years ago. Ha she probably thought in the back of her mind, 'sheesh whatta great example' ha I get back to irvine and I went ot the spa to chill for a little bit. One hour passes, two hour passes, and no one comes oh why?! ha I was so freakin bored that I ended up ordering pizza for myself, while watching 'boogeyman' and 'be cool.' Talk bout making one lonely blockbuster nite! I even sat waiting for peeps to call cuz they said they were going to call. So much for that!

IRVEEZY: Came back home saturday to run errands, get father's day gifts, return movies, and all that jazz. I ended up buying me dad this tight pivot drill from home depot. It was on sale, so it was a great deal. The drill can make holes as well as drill things into the holes. Then there's a tape measure too at the bottom of it. Whas cool too is the drill is flexible, so you can move it around. So I was on myspace and I found all these people from high skool that either graduated before me or the same time or after. Its funny to see wha certain people are up to now a days, some done with skool, some already married, while others are still searching for something. Im half way to my high skool reunion, its gonna be crazy.

THE MASK: Fred came down sat. nite and we went to the spectrum and watched batman begins. We had an interesting show in the parking lot though before getting to the theatre. This huge truck reversed and either stepped on the gas too fast or something, but he ended up hitting the back of this small corolla. The back of the truck hit real hard the back of the corolla. It was loud and errone was watching too. Then the truck zoomed off, I dont if he was trying to get away or wha but then the other car drove off too I dont know if they went to look for the truck but it was crazy. Batman Begins is alright, I think I'm getting tired of the whole prequel phase of movies. Too much dialouge in the beginning of the movie, but I guess you kinda have watch it to understand the rest of the movie later on. The movie was pretty long too, I'm still lost on wha to think of the whole movie though. I wanna watch mr. and mrs. smith though, errone says that was good.

FATHER'S DAY I: Spent the last nite in irvine, since I had to feed the dogs one last time in the morning. Woke up @ 7am to come home and go to mass w/the tribe. The readings all kinda coincided bout not fearing anything except for God. About letting ourselves grow w/the Lord and sharing that love w/other people. Im glad there isnt drastic liturgy changes starting the beginning of next month. Having only 6 sunday masses opposed to the 7 now is still pretty good, for only having 3 priests! Im kinda sad bout the 1215pm daily mass being taken away, but at least there's still a 515pm one. The no confessions on sundays for summer is gonna be different for some people. For as important that sacrament is, im surpised there isnt more time for it. Anyway, at least the changes are not drastic.

FATHER'S DAY II: Had lunch w/errone at my grandparent's house. Its great that we can still celebrate w/my lolo father's day. I was hoping there would be more of a variety or food, but there wasnt. My cousins are hialrious cuz she was talking bout how her dad and step mom have shortened their pet names to each other. They always call each other 'panga' but now she said they've shortened it to juss 'ga' now ha. So anyway, she goes I think there's a full name for it its like pangasinan or something like that. Then my other cousin, her sister was like that's a city in the pi! hahahahha it was so funny. My other cousin who juss graduated from csuf in engineering juss got a new car. A new chevrolet crossfire, nice car but not my cup of tea. I wont even go into how much they bought the car for! There's no backseats, its like the nissian z that type of car. Id rather get like a acura tl or scion or something. This car is juss way small for me, whas funny too is my cousin isnt a small guy either. LAter on errone went to go play softball, except me I stayed back and took a nap! ha! Okay this tuesday, it's time to get back on track on loosing weight. Im at 146lbs right now, my goal is to be a size 28 in waist hahaha jk thas juss waaaaaaaay too skinny.

TOO MUCH: I cant believe how much is going on this week. Its only sunday and I cant wait until the friday comes. 'kucille's' tomorrow nite, doctor apt tues. morning, HOW debut on wed. nite yay!, holy fam cathedral interview thurs. nite, work on sat. and my cousin's grad. party, then christy's party sun. then spirit games meeting monday. Then my birfday the week after that yay!!! I still need to figure out what I want to do, I want to do something w/music but not like at club or anything. I learned something interesting in regards to church job within the two different dioceses. Well, the archdiocese has this point system they go by. So you get a point for each catagorey that you fit into, then they add up your points and then there's a scale from there that determines your pay. For the diocese of orange, completely different, each pastor, at each indvidual parish is different. Its up to the pastor on whether he wants to hire you and how much he wants to pay you. Interesting huh?

THE THIRD: I had another interview this morning at St. Joseph's in placentia. My 3rd interview since last week, my first interview in the diocese of orange. I didnt know it waas a full time position cuz it didnt specify that in the job description. I went through w/the interview anyway, and it was cool. The pastor who interviewed me was great, he shared w/me his parish was St. Polycarp and when he was in the seminary or before he went, he was a rec leader for the city of garden grove. He asked a lot of interesting questions and some questions that I've been asked already. Examples like how my leadership style, how would I go about bringing people into the program, what do I expect etc. This position is also one of those confirmation coordinator/youf minister type of positions. He asked me would I be open to part time youf ministry also. He was real familiar w/the different changes going on at sPv currently, and described the new pastor a little bit. Anyhow, it ended w/him asking me to come back for a 2nd interview w/the interview team next wed. nite. I juss remembered earlier thas HOW's opening nite! I gotta reschedule!

COMPLETE: I got another phone call in today from St. Thomas Moore in irvine today. I think I've gotten a call back now from all the places I've applied to. Which is a good sign, I hope...Anyway, the lady had a intial phone interview w/me juss to make sure I knew about what the job was and if I was willing to committ. It seems something more up my alley, I think. So she's got supposedly something like 10 other people who she's gotta call and ask the same thing to. I guess kindsa filter out those who may not be interested in the iob anymore. She's suppose to call me back to schedule an interview either by mon. or tues. Theyre planning to get someone in by the 2nd week of july, so theyre moving pretty quick on this one. THe other one the pastor said he was in no rush to hire anyone. We'll see how the cards unfold. SO many different interviews I cant keep up. The parish in pasadena the guy and I cant seem to find a good time for me to come down. Maybe its not the one?

ACCIDENTS: There's been a lot of different accidents lately on the freeway. On my way to irvine last nite there was a pretty bad truck accident. IT looks like this small pick up truck totally juss lost it. As I was passing by the parts were all over the place. I wonder if the person ended up being alright. WHile I was sitting in traffic though, I got to see the fireworks show from disneyland. Ha that was pretty coo, makes me excited for the 4th of july to come. Which means the day after that is my birfday! Which means it marks the start of july birfdays and celebrations! WooO!

HOUSESITTING: THis whole housesitting thing would be easier if he juss lived in staton or something closer. The drive back and forth to irvine is crazy. Anyway, I went there last nite after I got off work and juss chilled for a while. Poured myself a small glass of red wine, watched a little tv and was set to go. Oh yeah then I went to go into the spa for a while. It was kinda freaky cuz I was getting real paranoid. The pool and spa is one of those community type ones, so errone shares it. Well, it was empty when I went lsat nite and I was trippin thinking wha if someone were to come and kill me or something. Its scary being by yourself in a neighborhood where you dont know anyone.

SHAKE IT: That was one crazy earfquake today, I think errone must've felt that one. Unless you were outside or something. It was crazy we heard that grumbling noise and then felt errthang shake a little bit. I think God's stomach was hurting or he was real hungry! ha So I called rob to see if he felt it and the convo goes something like this:
me: did you feel the earfquake?
rob: agh yeah, I was doing work and then Jesus said 'hi robby!' then I said 'agh no time to play games Jesus I got deadlines to meet.' Then he said, 'agh no' then shook earf.
me: jhahaha!

HOW: Practice went well tonite, we sound good! I'm getting more and more excited for next wed. to come. Were blessed to have such an opportunity like this one and I really pray that people come in thristy and hungry. Tito Rudy has been the best to us, spoiling us like crazy over at Holy Fam. He's been such a big help to getting us off teh ground and ready. Itll be interesting to see how many people will show up and who will be there. We got our shirts too last nite, they're looking pretty amazing! haha The HOW singers are tight, their vokals are hot to deaf! Thatd be tight if I ended up landing a youf ministry position and they performed. Anyway, I love HOW cuz we're so WOW! ahaha

WEIRD WEATHER: Its been weird weather for the past couple of weeks. When I got out of St. Joseph's there was a graduation going on and it was drizzling hard. Almost to the point where it was raining. I thought to myself, 'that sucks for them foos graduating today.' Then I thought oh yeah alaine is graduating today too. Then it stopped and I think it was getting a little warm. Then we had that earfquake, on top of that it ended up getting cooler in the nite. Maybe this is all pre-summer weather, before summer heat actually begins.

DOWN TO THE LAST WIRE: Well, it looks like we're down to the last wire with all the june celebrations. Boss lady's birfday is mon. woo that means dinner @ lucille's. The weekend after is christy's grad party. WOw what a busy month it has been. I feel like I've been going non-stop errday this month. From traffic skool, grad parties, birfday parties maaan! To think this is only the beginning of summer. I wish I was going away somewhere cool like hawaii or something. Hawaii was a great vacation, for some reason it's been on my mind a lot lately.

I get to hang out w/my godson tomorrow!WoOO!

COVERS OF THE MAGAZINES: This was on the cover of my complex magazine for this month. Pretty hot eh? I dont really like her w/the blonde hair, Im not feelin it. When I first saw this, I thought it was hillary duff ha! I perfer w/the brown blackish type of hair, but I'm sure she had to change for the upcoming 'fantastic four' movie. The picture pretty much speaks for itself, so I wont say much more bout it. Complex is style magazine has a lot of the trends on clothes, shoes, technology etc. I think that guy marc ecko is the creator of this magazine. They got some really got shoes in there, I would love to have all of them!

LOVE NOT SACRIFICE: When I was reading this article last nite in the church it suck in me. Even though this article was coming from the gospel two weeks ago, it had such a strong message. The whole message of God wanting our whole being, our wholeselves, a devotion to Him. He's not interested in how many prayer meeting you've attended or how many lss' you've gone through, but how we've given him our hearts. Some people think the word 'holy' means adhering to rules and regulations. SOmeone who goes to church errsingle day, sits in the blessed sacrament for hours, novenas and fasting errday. Yet being holy simple means giving your all to God. I love how the author of the article describes it, 'clinging tothe presence of God like a lifeline.' Wow, I couldnt of described it any better. Then to say we need to do more then juss base our faith on 'attendance' sending the strong message of doing more, experiencing more, SERVING MORE. Nuff said.

WALK, WALK: I havent had the chance or opportunity to excercise all freakin week this week. It has been so extremly busy, that I cant wait for the weekend to come already. Anyway, I went to work early this morning to pass out fliers in the neighborhoods for the new park. It was funny cuz I kinda got worried cuz on my way back I got lost. I forgot which direction I came through and I was walking around this neighborhood for a good 10-15 min. before I figured out where I was. I hate getting lost, especially when you're by yourself. My problem too is, I fail to ask directions right away. I dont know why, I always tell myself, a little further maybe well find it, but it doesnt exactly work out that way.

NOT TOO GOOD: My coworker called in sick today and my boss was pissed! She had her hip hop dance class today and we had to cancel again. The think also is, she applied for the rec leader positions. Hmm it doesnt look too good for her already. For someone who wants to get hired, she isnt showing much of an effort. Oh man if she ends up calling out again tomorrow, I highly doubt she'll have a job come monday. Not good, not good at all. She's a cool person, fun to work with and all, but she doesnt seem too reliable. I dont like people who are unreliable cuz you give it your all in them expecting they'll come through and then they dont. Boo on them!

CINDRELLA: Spent an hour cleaning up my center, that was thrashed. Im glad that were only using one portion cuz the other side was worse. Cleaning up all this gross extinguisher dust or whatever it is. Wipping down all the tables w/409, mopping the floor, throwing certain things away thats not needed. I feels like moving into a new house where the previous people were juss shady and didnt want to clean up. Another thjng that bothers me bout people, unorganization and inconsideration for others. THough wha can you do? Nothing! haha

VIBE: This is the cover of the new vibe edition this month. What a great hip hop combo, kanye west, common, and john legend. OooOOhweee that's one hot trio right there! This is the first time in months that I've finally received it on time! The past couple of times, I've been getting it waaay later then the stores usually get it. Wha the heck is that all bout?! In fact I've been meaning to call and complain, but never got around to doing it. I love vibe magazine, even though most of it is all juss ads. ha

NEW RELEASE: I love my video store where I rent my movies at. They always get their new releases one week before the actual release date. On top of that they manage to keep their prices low, by $1 on all VHS and $1.50 on dvds, I think $1.50 on games too. Man I havent rented a video game in ages! Anyway, so after work I went to go rent coach carter and seed of chucky. Licoln video is the best video store I know of. Yeah, you may not be able to keep the movie for one week or whatever, but its still worth it.

PICKING UP: Work has been picking up this past week and its going to be even more busier starting next week. I feel like there's juss so much to do, and yet not enough time to get all done. Im going in early tomorrow to drop off some fliers around the neighborhoods for our park grand opening. One of the aspects of my job I hate...special events agh! I enjoy doing them for church and other stuff, but as a career it juss aint my cup of tea. I was hoping to get out of stanton before this park grand opening, but its juss didnt work out.

TOP 5: Fun times during dinner tonite at fridays. Jei has a funny way of making conversation with errone. He came up with this survery game of your 'top 5.' THere was a variety of different catagories like top 5 you know youre in love songs, top 5 break up songs, top 5 disney characters, top 5 fav scents, top 5 worst scents, and the list juss went on and on. It was fun though seeing what errone's fav things were. Juss the different creative things people were coming up with. Good topic to discuss while eating and waiting for food. I like jei franxis, he's one cool guy.

THERE'S HOPE: I got three different call backs today from 3 different parishes. This morning Fr. ted from St. Joseph's in Placentia called me for an intial interview this thursday morning. Then Holy Fam Cathedral called me also asking me to come in next week for an interview as well. On top of all that Assumpion parish, the one in pasadena called me back wanting me to come down again to check things out and to talk business. Then Im turning in my application for centrailia skool district on friday. I hope I get something offered at least one, I juss dont want to get my hopes up or put all my hopes in one place and get up getting nothing. Pray for me that I find something friends!

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT: Had HOW music min. practice tonite inside the church. It was different practicing and singing inside the church, but it was great. Singing loves songs to Jesus as He gave us all these great gifts. I pretended to be cantor inside the church haha Practice is fun and tito rudy was having a fun time watching us. We're so grateful for him and all that he's done for us. I cant believe how fast the 22nd is coming up! Im not even singing or peforming yet I'm getting kinda nervous. I made the announcement at spirit games meeting last nite and invited errone to come down to see us.

LOVE, NOT SACRIFICE: I had read a really interesting article in the tiddings tonite. In fact it was so good that something kinda sank into me. My Life is in Your Hands

TOO MUCH: I had the most difficult time sleeping last nite. Well I fell asleep pretty fast, but then I'd end up waking errhour of the nite. I was juss nervous for the staff in-service I had to do. All that last min. stressing making sure I had everything right and put together. In fact, I almost forgot to do something, good thing I remember while blogging last nite. Usually, whenever Im either really excited or really nervous about something I have a hard time sleeping. Ill wake up so many times in the middle of the nite. I layed in bed debating wha time to go into work to get it all done.

PEACE: Praise God that today is over, that this in service is over also. Ive been planning this whole in service off and on for like a month and a half. Ever sine I went back to work in april, after my month long vacation. Trying to indirectly add in different retreat methods and activties in the staff inservice. Im juss glad it went really well, and it all ran smoothly. I was pretty much the moderator for the inservice going over things like how to handle difficult behaviors and makign a great program. It all turned real great and my bosses were happy. In fact I even added like a climax portion to the inservice, the whole theme of 'how do you see Christ in your brothers and sisters.' Except this one is how do you value the person as a individual on your team? It was cool. Oh yeah during our contest on policies and procedures, I won a free lunch on the bosses! woOo!

IN MOTION: After the inservice then it was off ot rowland heights for spirit games meeting. It's been such a whole different ball game this year. Errthang is so stagnant right now cuz of the whole venue being up in the air. Which sucks cuz there isnt a whole lot anyone can do. I juss pray the diocese approves of us. Once we know exactly whas going on then errthang will fall into place, I hope. I also have another thing on my plate to put together now, a spirit games casino nite fundraiser. Yet Im not even sure exactly how the heck I'm going to put this one together. It was fun seeing errone again, charisse who havent even talked to ages, then LoC was there, now if we could only get errone else to come.

CHANGES: I think if there's one word to describe 2005, it would be changes. Defiently, so many different things have changed in my life. Geez, its only been six months in the year and I feel like its already almost over. Its been challenging, no doubt about that with being tested in many different ways. Some things I would've never imagined happening, yet GOd let all happen for growth Id like to say? Maybe, whos knows but God has his reasons for it all . Sometimes we juss gotta kinda go w/the flow of things. He'll piece the puzzle pieces together later on.

The Word to be Spoken

MR. JASON'S OPUS: Had HOW practice this morning at 9am and even though we didnt start tiill like an hour later it was fun. It felt like that one weekend I think it was for LSS when the moyas and I were the first ones at the church. Same thing happened this morning, except this time we didnt buy food. We were so hungry that we ended up having to do a food run at burger king. Their breakfast was okay, I'm not really a big fan of any other fast food joints breakfast unless its mcdonalds. Anyway, so once we finally got going, were making beautiful music. It was fun cuz I was mr. conductor leading my own choir. I even was giving pointers to the peeps telling them if they needed more engery or if they were lacking in a area. Ha fun stuff!

HOSPITALITY: Holy Family is such a tight parish they treat us so well over there. Especially tito rudy, he's such a nice guy if only he knew my real name though ha. He always provides us w/wha we need and is so generous. For example today, he bought us a grip of tamales to eat for breakfast. So of course we couldnt say no, so we had to eat a couple. They were pretty good too, I liked the green spicy kind better then the other one. Its juss really cool to be at such a warm and friendly parish. Im not saying that sPv wasnt warm to welcoming to us, its juss when youre the new kid on the block, its great to feel welcomed and wanted.

LABORERS ARE FEW: It was funny during fr. breannan's homily this afternoon, he used part of another homily he had said before and added it to todays. He told us a story of when he was younger, how he'd help his dad in the field doing stuff. His dad would hand him the shovel and he'd start digging and doing all that type of work. Same thing God is handing over to us, the shovel to help plant seeds, to save souls, and help bring others to Him. There are many people who have chosen to walk away from the church cuz they disagee with such moral issues. Then First off, that we should judge them or attach any type of assumptions to them but instead offer them to God. Often times those who walk will say, 'im not walking away from God, im walking away from teh church' However, they fail to realize that since Jesus created the church, and started it, they are walking away from him. God is an extension of the church and it depends on you. Love should come first, the mass will come around.

SHAKE, RATTLE, AND ROLL: I was sitting in my room checking blogs this morning at around 840am my room starts to shake. At first I thought I was juss dizzy and things were kinda spinning, but it was actually an earthquake. Nothing really big but it was small earthquake that probably went on for a good couple of minutes. I haven't felt an earthquake in ages though. I remember the huge norfridge one back in '94 that was felt all the way here. That one was freaky, I ran straight into my parents rooom cuz I was skurred.

LEARNING NEW THINGS: Noreen and michael's birfday party was real fun. I came at 3pm and no one I knew was really there yet so I juss kinda talked to noreens best friend. Then later on thas when errone came and the party started. I liked the way they did the party, they had so many different things going on to keep you busy. At first I wasnt too sure if I wanted to participate in them but I'm really glad I did. I learned how to play bocche ball, which I made it to the 2nd rounds, only to be beaten by jei and lisa. Learned how to play croquet, which I sucked at it. I hit the ball too hard, therefore not making under the hole thingy. Learned a new board game called 'sequence' which was hella fun! Out of the 3 different things I learned, I liked the two out of the three, the bocche ball and sequence. Jei and were soo close to winning the 2nd round, ahh sooo close I had two wild card jacks in my hand! I think imma buy that game.

SOMETHING TO PONDER ON: Our holy faith is nothing but a gosel of love, revealing to us God's love for men and claiming in return man's love for God. 'God is love' a missionary must be a missionary of love. We must spread God's love 'on earth if we want to make souls repent wholeheartedly for sin, to strengthen them in temptation, and to increase their generosity and their desire to suffer for Christ. Let us act as Christ's love among men, remembering the words of the 'imitation, 'Love feels no burden, values no labors, would willingly do more than it can, complain not of impossibilites, because it conceives that it may and can do all things; when weary is not tired; when strained is not constrained; when frightened s not disturbed; but like a living flame and torch all on fire it mounts upward and securely passes through all opposition.

INSERVICE: So Im putting together our inservice today at work for summer. Ive been preparing for this for the past couple of months. I juss hope eerrthang goes well tomorrow, so please pray for me! Its also a potluck for our dept. as well. I juss remembered also that I have to make an award later for my coworker. I hope I get a call back from the other two parishes and get scheduled an interview. I think I had put in for 5 or 6 different youth minister positions, I juss hope I get something soon. Im getting tired of all this parks and rec stuff.

BUSY WEEK AHEAD: Too many things going on this month taht it's hard to keep track of them all. I have a spirit games meeting on monday, then a lot of HOW music min. practices, then imma be in irvine house sitting for my boss as well. They have a pool and spa across from their house so thas gonna be tight. Going in there at nite, relaxing after a long days hardwork. Oh yeah, saturday is ave star, then sunday is Father's day too. Ahh I guess its better then leading a boring, non active life. By the time you know it hte month will be over already!

Sequence is tight!
