OKay hurr is part two, as of now i should be updated on errthang thas been going on. Hurrs another pic that i love that was taken from youf rally. Its coo cuz were whurring 3 different color shirts! hehe So for those who dont know who these people are, its charisse, nick, and i! 3 different communities, lf, sol, and SH. Wooooooo for the past couple days, i havent really been up to date either on errone else's blog entries. So i guess i gotta do that too later on.

YEsterday, my sister made some mac and cheese in the morning. I had some and i think it didnt sit too well in my stomach. I ended up having stomach problems all day long. I felt so sick but praise God cuz i got through the day. Bio lab was cool, i liked it cuz it was one of those 'at your own pace' type of labs. The past couple of weeks, i guess the people that i talk to in my class weve been getting to know each other more. Which is cool, its always nice ot make more friends. I got out of lab early and i came home, and attempted to blog bout the youf rally and wha not. Actually i had a whole entry typed out over the weekend then the stupid comp. froze. I wish thurr was a perfect computer one that had no problems wha so eva.

Work was cool, mondays are always busy for me. I had a new girl come to the drama class, so it was cool she had fun. I tried to make it fun for so she want to come back more often. We did a lot of improv scenes. They had fun playing along and acting out the different scenarios. The time went back real fast too. So i then rushed to set up for esl and my mom's quilting class. One of the parents from work and i were talking for a while. I had asked her to pray for the healing of matt;'s family and for his dad. I think this was the highlight of my day, she came to pick up her kids and said let's stop and pray. We joined hands and she lead us in prayer, in the middle of the hallway. Each time we talk, we talk forever bout church and catholicism and stuff. Thas wha makes me love my job even more. The people who i encounter daily. Praise God

LEft work and picked up the banana bread to go the spirit games meeting. I was worried thurr was going to be traffic on the 91w since it was bout 6pm. TO my suprise thurr was some traffic but it went real smooth. I was over at St. Lucy's in bout half hour, so i got thurr w/plenty of time to help them set up and get myself set up. Our 'pentagon' meeting went really well, as always the meetings are fruitful. Thurr was sometimes whurr we felt like were in the souf w/all the mosqutios coming into the room! haha IN the middle of the meeting errone was jumping around trying to kill the stupid thing. AgH! i hate mosquitos!!!!!!

In the summer when id go to minn. theyre always around cuz its sooo freakin hot and dry. Then the next day youre filled w/mosquito bites all over your legs and hands. Agh!!! Makes you look like you got some kind of disaese or something. Anyway, we were able to get a lot done out of this meeting. We put together an official mission statement and theme for the spirit game. The mission statement will be one that will stay as the games continue to be played each yurr. So the mission statement is, "A Christ centered event to promote a Spirit of unity, outreach, growth, support, & fellowship, among the catholic youth, young adult, prayer groups throughout So. Cal to exercise the body and spirit." The theme is 'one body, many parts.'

Then we broke up into committees, it went very well. Fred will be heading up the homeland security dept. haha Im glad that we have committees now, im and anxious to see the progress of the committees. Praise God we have some great leaders on this committee. THanks to SLY for their great hospitality! The popeyes chicken yum! The pasta that grace made also was really good!! i liked it! She needs to make that more often. After the meeting i was sitting and talking w/cy, mikee, and wilaine till like 12am. Great stuff, we decided that we all need to hang out more often.

All in all praise God for all the blessings, for this great group of people he has chosen. PRaise God for sly! I love spirit games meeting, theyre so filled w/love and so intimate. Im really excited to see the development of the games as these next 5 months pass. I continue to pray the spirit moves this committee and continues to help it grow.

Eww look at my shinny sweaty face! Its from all that sweat from throughout the whole day. Anyway, two very cool people who i love working with. Mikee and cyril when you put it together, its cykee. I had the blessing of meeting them last spring time. Jeanne and i had randomly decided to take a trip to the lBc and visit sly. Well that wed. we had gone was the week of holy week. We couldnt of came at a more perfect time. The spanish youf group were doing a skit on the 'Passion.' Which i will go and see again next wed. Anyway, so thats how i met cyril and mikee.

IVe gotten the pleasure of getting to know them better through working w/spirit games. They have a strong passion and committment into serving their community. THey're like my fav sly people! Its so cool cuz i can totally depend on them to help me out when needed. Whenever the three of us talk we can talk forever. Mikee's an awesome guy, so humble and cyril oh man her and i can forever. Praise God through serving together, we have gotten to know each more. Praise God for great friends like mikee and cyril!

I know my friends, its been quite a while since ive made an update. Ive been lagging due to that blog laziness. The past week has been pretty hectic with getting together youf rally stuff. Praise God though that it all worked out. As always he provides! So wha has been going on in the life of this isda. WEll let's take a look and see... haha

Friday i wanted to have lunch w/someone, but i couldnt find anyone to go to lunch with. I was passing by karutas and i had this craving for sushi. I stopped by thurr and i thought id be able to take it out. Well i get thurr and i could only take it out if i pay full price. Well i dindt want that so i started to walk out. THe guy suggested that i sit down order it, eat some, and then take some home. Well i thought okay, so i go into the sushi burr and im sitting down thurr feeling like a loser by himself. Ha for the first time i ended up eating the beans that give you as an appetizer. Ive never eaten them cuz i thought they had no flavor to them.

Well i was bored juss sitting thurr so i started to peal em and eat it. Turns out they taste like boiled peanuts! I ended up taking the rest of my sushi home. Crazy purrt was when i got into the curr, i hurr someone banging on my curr. I looked up and it was that manager guy. Telling me next time to sit at the table or something and bring friends. Then he said some other stuff, i was like umm okay sure. I was thinking dang he chased me all the way out to the curr to tell me that?
Took the sushi home and i watched my days of our lives, which was really good on fri!

Later on i was trying to fix my backseat seatbelt w/my dad. That was a hurd job, but we managed to find some type of solution for it. Afterwards jovie and i went to souf coast plaza. I havent been to that mall in ages! Thurr was so much traffic though on the freeway, i had to clap in teh curr to keep jovie awake. So we basicially walked around the mall and went into and out of stores. Obviously they have all the nice hardcore designer sturres. JOvie convinced me that i couldnt walk way from souf coast w/o getting anything. I ended up buying this nice timberland shirt for $20. They had nice leather little bags and cell phone cases but it was like $30!

I was able to make it for the last couple stations for the stations of the cross. Then went up to apologetics. No matter how many times ive listened to tito jess teach the same things, i can never get turrd of listening to him. He's got really good speaking skills that helps keep you awake and focused. Not like that one other guy mike who totally makes me want to sleep when i listen to him talk. Very monotnous tone of voice and looses your attention. Then ha thurrs murry who is always soo perky. Tito tom came down sturrs afterwards and told leo, gp, lizzah, and i that once they graduate apologetics, for them to memorize and study the notes. Then we can be giving the talks. That was really inspiring, tito tom always has the nicest intentions.

Saturday was youf rally and i was really fun! If you missed out then well it sucks to be you! haha my voice is still raspy from all the yelling and screaming. My kids told me it was a long day but praise God they went out w/errthang they had. I think it sent some type of conviction to get them into SH. Maybe one day if its God's will, SH will have a youf ministry. That would be pretty tight. My workshop went well. I was the moderator and charisse gave the talk. I wrote on the board, 'welcome to room 6' Mr. jason and ms. charisse. haha it was so fun. I had nice variety of communities in the workshop.

OUr music min. performance was off the wall, being we didnt hvae a full set of musicians. The crowd seemed to be really feelin us. Especailly the whole 'praise God/Hey ya' we did last min @ the beginning. Yfc was feelin us up in the front. I was given lots of compliments in passing afterwards. Donna lee was feelin us too, it was crazy that she knew that whole 'hey ya' song. Anyway, the other performances were off hte hook too. I loved lf's suicide skit remix, that was pretty creative. My kids were feelin that skit too. The modern dance was pretty tight too. The commercials were real good. SOL always puts together the hardcore commericals. I saw the spirit games commercial too! Praise God it turned out the way i had envisioned it. Praise God for sca!


IT was nice leading a workshop, rather then being in one. I liked that concept of moderating it then actually sitting in. So it was charisse and i leading a workshop together which i think we had college kids. So i wrote on the chalkboard, 'welcome to room 6' mr. jason and ms. charisse! haha Then when the kids walked in, i said please check your schedules and make sure youre in the right classroom! haha OUr icebreaker game was 'baby i love you, but i juss cant smile.' That was fun we had a good time w/that. I had a lot of familiar faces inisde the workshop that was cool. PRaise God for the spirit flowing through charisse during her testimony. I wish thurr was more time to have a discussion afterwards. So we had like a couple of min. left so i kinda juss emphasized trying to get 'to know him' in their daily lives. Asking Him wha his concerns are for them in their lives.

We had this whole surrendering activity, though i was kinda falling alseep during purrts of it. They had turned out all the lights and it was durrk, so after all the yelling, screaming, and it being hot already, it made me sleepy. After the activity was the exposition was great! YOu cant find words to express how great adoration is. Then we had dinner w/more commercials, the dinner was good. I wanted another beef bowl, cuz they were really good. Then we got together for mass. When i was in the back of the church i saw fr. engel and he was happy to see SH thurr. He celebrated the mass, along w/the msgr. killion. I love fr. Engel, we all took a picture w/him afterwards.

So obviously, SH didnt take home the big spirit award. Kawawa us!! Were so close, yet so furr...haha oh well we got spirit games still, and next yurr will win the award ill rakc in more kids. I love how at the end of mass myron emphasized the need to come together more often as communities. Really, its not about SH or LF, or any other community, its all bout building up the body of Christ together. Bringing the kingdom of heaven hurr on earf and knowing thurr are so many different groups out thurr working hard to that errday. Thas why im glad thurr is spirit games to kinda compliment the youf rally. It gives errone something else to look forward to. Soooooo praiiisssseeeee God!

Afterwards i had taken grips of pics w/errone. It felt like at the end of the skool yurr whurr you take pics w/errone. Thas wha i had done, i didnt get a chance to take a picture w/my other friend, oh well. IT was funny i was looking for liwanag after the rally, and when i turned my head i saw angie and all them singing 'one bread, one body.' So i was able to get my liwanag picture also. My kids had a good time, they felt the day was real long though. Which is understandable, but its still an exciting day. WE had gone to mcdonalds afterwards and we juss talked. It was fun getting ot know them better. Deanna asked me when am i goign to get murried and have kids. She goes you do want to ahve kids right? haha ahh yes my kids are the greatest!

Sunday rolls around and im completely juss exhausted. Then on top of that it was so blazin hot! I went w/my parents to the bpd and we juss walked around for a while. WE got boba and it was good juss hanging out w/my fam bam tribe. We were gonna watch a movie, but instead we changed our minds. Had gone to sPv to check up on something, then ran into moms and pops in the forever long confession line. We were talking bout how were gonna prepare now to win the spirit award for next yurr. haha For the 630 pm mass that i didnt go to, thurr was like an orchestra playing for the choir. OH man it was so loud they were practicing before mass. I dont know how fr. kevin let them come. If he thought we were loud...maan On the way out of mass, i ran into thomby from sca, had small talk w/him. I didnt know he went to sPv.

Alright tomorrow i'll get back into the blogging on a daily basis. Finally makeitclap is updated!

One of my favorite verses from the Old testament comes from Isaiah 49:15-16. 'But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, my Lord has forgotten me. "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, upon the palm of my hands i have written your name." I love this cuz God compares his love for us as to the constant love of a mother. A mother love her child uncondtionally, no matter wha the circumstances are. I learned that each person that GOd has created, He loves. Pretty crazy to even fathom the thought of those who dont even believe in Him, that he still loves them.

THe last line to me is the most impactful one. He tells us that in the palm of his hands he has written our name. Wow my name is in written in the palm of his hands. So often we tend to forget bout Him, but yet he said i will not forget you. It brings me to think of how we go through sufferings, trials, tests, tribulations etc. and we feel so overwhelmed. Though through it He's right thurr. Thas why we gotta have faith, thas why we gotta pray. Many priests have told me prayer takes us deeper. Its through prayer that we will begin to understand the trials and sufferings.

IM excited for youf rally! Im excited to get crunk, loud, and ready to see errone come together again!! THurr are some groups who have yet to send me their community logo! agh! Ive got another jam packed weekend and inbetween thurr i need to fit in some study time. Maybe i shouldve been doing that now instead of blogging. Whoa! can you imagine if i gave up blogging for lent?! By the time easter rolled around id have one gigantic long entry! haha yall would be scrolling down forever. The entry would start on Ash wednesday, then ending at easter. Thatd be funny, maybe ill do that next yurr haha

Im praying that my kids or the real youf who are going ot the youf rally, will take this as an unforgettable experience. Especially for my kids, i hope they get a lot of it and i hope that have fun. Itll be something fun for them to see. Its gonna be jam packed in thurr, but its gonna be so much fun. Im praying that the workshop will go well. Actually, im not even doing most of it, its charisse basically giving her testimony. Im so excited for it!

I was stressing today juss on a whole bunch of different things. At one point this afternoon i was honestly beginning to feel burnt out. After i was done programming at the apartment complex, i stopped by St. Polycarp. I love that church, it is juss so peaceful. Each time i walk in i immediately feel a sense of peace and tranqulility. Obviously, i stopped at the blessed sacrament and i was telling him how tense and stress i was beginning to feel. He told me, "Dont stress over the small things. I have given you my grace and my grace is sufficient for you." I said, 'ahh yes youre right.' I saw Jesus in this man who seemed to be teaching these kids how to pray. He was speaking spanish so i was only able to make out purrts of wha he was saying. He taught them the sign of the cross and prayed a prayer of thanksgiving w/the kids. Saying thank you for my brothers and sisters and i didnt make out the rest. I thought that was the best.

Haha i juss had a great convo w/cyril bout days of our lives. Dang she's been watching the show for almost as long as i have! A lot of sad tragedy taking place in salem. I was real upset when doug had died. AS i was watching julie's flashbacks i thought to myself, Praise God, a example of a blessed marriage. They were the one of soaps greatest couples. Show much love for each other and they showed each and errday. Okay i know im getting curried away and its only soap.

So a couple weeks ago i had shurred w/yall bout 'mass girl.' This girl who i sometimes see during daily mass. I would see her often during the 12:15pm afternoon mass. Ive been wanting to invite her to prayer meeting but been kinda hesitant. Well i saw her today at mass! IN fact we pulled up about the same time. SO i said to myself this time i was going to invite her to prayer meeting, if she comes, then cool. After mass was over, she jolted out she mustve been in a hurry. She always bones out right after mass is over. ANyway, I said 'umm excuse me' she turned out and was like 'yeah?' i juss told her we have a prayer group upsturrs called SH errtues. I didnt even really get to finsih my sentence and she was like 'oh i have work.'

I was like dang dont even let me finish my sentence! Then i said well okay, juss thought id let you know in case youre free one tues. She seemed whatever like she didnt really curr. Maybe i caught her at the wrong moment. She seemed like she was trying to call someone on her celly. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh wellllllllll! At least i invited her and gave her the business currd. I kinda dindt like though how she cut me off. Praise God though she goes to daily mass, thas cool. I dont see her though during sunday masses. Whatever...

My stupid alarm on my phone didnt go off this morning. I really dont know why, so i ended up missing class. I woke up at like 1030am ha the time i normally during a free day. I had gone to tower and picked up for robby the 'n.e.r.d' CD. The new usher Cd came out too, but i couldnt get bof so i sacraficed and got his instead. These other people in back of me were getting the usher CD and i was like awww i wanted that! I wonder if the whole CD is good though. The usher Cd was only like $12 which i thought was pretty good. THe N.e.r.d. Cd was only $10, pretty cheap!

SRE was funny tonite, so i was lecturing bout prayer. Helping them to develop a daily prayer life. I taught them ACTS and gave them a 7 day prayer project. They were to spend at least 15 min for the next 7 days and relfect on the scripture verses given for each day. Then write down their thoughts as a journal entry. MY lesson to get across bout spending at least 15 min of prayer was bout a celeb. I told them picture a celeb wanting to spend a whole day w/you. Wha would you do to prepare to meet them. SO they said fix my room, fix them dinner etc. I had gone around asking some of my kids who did they choose. Majority of the guys said 'jjessica alba.' ha Some girls mentioned Brad pitt. I heard one of my kids called the guy sitting next to him bakala. i was laughing when i heard it.

Anyway, so then i said well this person now wants you to become their youf adviser to bring more young people into the church. Hurrs the catch this means they now need to talk to you errday for 15 min. So would you been willing to wake up 15 min. earlier each day to talk w/them? One kid said, 'sure, it's jessica alba.' Then i pointed out its the same w/God. He wants you to spend time in prayer w/Him. Convering w/him your days and juss listening to wha he wants. We had a great time, im anxious to see read wha their reflections were. Wow, imma have 25 journals with 7 different reflections in each one.

Prayer meeting was great. Raymond told me he was going ot come! Chentel brought back her friend jennifer. Cool girl, praise God she was so willing to shurr. Suprisingly tito tom didnt have anything to say tonite. Good talk after w/moms and pops! I love them theyre so much fun to talk to! Them and their 'newlywed' curr hahaha Then we had fun time playing arcade at mcdonalds. Remember the good ol nickel nickel thursdays?! Were gonna ahve ot bring that back in. Those were fun! ahH yes i remember when i could only play arcades in vegas, ha not no more!!!

Anything you'd like everyone to pray for? Lets pray for the SOl youf rally and their community as they prepare for this HUGE event. Pray for spirit games committee. Pray for your prayer buddies. Pray for SH's continuous progress on our LSS. Pray for all the other catholic community events such as, ave sturr, YFc g4g rally and conference, the alliances ADOre, SCRC young adult track, SCA's annual retreat in Aug. PRay for all the catholic communities who continue to serve God through their ministires. Most of all lets pray for God's concerns for us and wha He wants of us!

Praise God that my debit currd was found @ the loft! Praise God for He is so loving, compassionate and merciful! This weekend was fun, chill time w/the guys @ d & B. Street Fighter 2 was the game errone was playing last nite. Some foo was beating errone using chung li! He went through like 1000 people! IT was crazy! We had a great time @ the loft too w/the whole 'yeaaaaaaah, 'okkkkkayy,' and waterbed inside joke. Oh man, good times, good times. Big ups for jay and mike for helpin me w/the whole $4 situation w/o having a debit currd.

Curr group meeting was fun, at po folks. Then having music min practice for youf rally. Arch had a grip of geetar churrds from all these tight praise & worship songs. He even had the prince of peace song! Oh man we were so feelin that song, i love it! I had diane and leo sing it for me so we can get the melody. I love that song! Yay we got almost 30 people going to youf rally this sat. Im excited! Thurr was drama in the confession line this afternoon @ sPv. i'll explain that later, its time to sleep. ahhh! i dont like mondays! Laker game was pretty crazy!

Fake girlfriend and i came up w/a new phrase 'cafteria blog reader.' Those are those type of people who pick & choose wha they want to read. Instead of juss reading the whole entire thing. She said that my blogs are too long, so she juss picks and chooses wha she wants to read. Yeah, i must admit i am one of those 'cafeteria blog readers.' THough, i must say 90% of the time i read the whole entirety!

Yesterday i got to sleep in til l1045am! Wow i like this sleepin in stuff, after a long week of waking up early, i get to embrace my sleep on fris! haha My dad was off yesterday, so i kinda hung around the house till it was time to go to mass. Went to sPc for confession and mass, i havent gone thurr in like forever! So it was nice, though they werent having exposition that day. Fr. Andrew said something was wrong w/the mics. I dont know wha that has to do with w/adoration. I like how fr. andrew sings certain part of the mass in latin.

Went out to lunch w/my parents ha my mom wanted chinese food, my dad wanted rubios, and i was feelin for fish fillet. We settled for fish fillet since we couldnt really decide what we wanted. I love fish fillet fridays!! They make my week so much brighter! ha jk After lunch i started to read a little bit more in the Purpose Driven Life. I was trying not to fall asleep but i ended up doing so...a nice nap. WOke up and i got some din din for the fam bam tribe. Ha it sounds like i went out and hunted for some meat. I ended up having some moe fish fillet. Cyril had called me telling me she had needed directions for Savio. She wanted to go to adoration and had passed by sPc but mass was already over. I had left my phone in the curr during mass, so i had missed her call. ANyway, she ended up finding it on her own. Praise God cuz she went on bellflower and juss layed her turst in God's hands to lead her. NExt thing she knew she ended up finding the church. So tha was cool.

Later on i went to stations of the cross, i hadnt gone for the past couple weeks so it was nice. Rey had asked me to hol the cross cuz i guess they had no alter servers. Two of my kids from SRE was thurr. They came w/their parents so that was good to see them. I dont knwo wha happened ot the rest of them kids. But theyre gonna get it on tues!! ha jk After i went upsturrs for apologetics, and oh man was it packed! Standing room only i tell you! Praise God! They had changed the style and format of it too. Fake girlfriend, leo, gp, and lizzah was thurr. I love tito jess' talks, and errone i know loves his talks too!

After the 5 of us had gone to eat @ mcdonalds, i had really wanted a pizzookie but i was out voted! We settled for mcdonalds on beach...ha once again. This girl named courtney whos from Heart of Jesus came with us. We had a interesting convo bout blogs, alligator meat, and errthang else. Turns out lizzah said that any type of reptile is not considered meat. Supposedly it says so in the canon laws, i gotta look that up. Ha we had an apologetics 'pop quiz.' ha i had asked them a couple of questions in review from the lesson.

Then we got into the topic of blogs. That girl courtney mentioned whas the point of reading in wha other people do in their lives? I guess she was mentioning how some people write errsingle detail of wha they did in their day. I think she was exaggerating bout how they do it to the time also. Turns out Heart of Jesus has been around forever, longer then SOL. Crazy stuff huh...i was checking out their website and thas how i found out.

Anyway, after mcdonalds leo and i were talking for a while in the curr, then i said lets go to savio. Went to savio, and coincidently banne was thurr. So the three of us went into savio and sat w/Jesus. It was a really nice time, quiet, peaceful, yet so great. I was able to shurr w/Him the rest of the inventory of life from last week. I think He wants me to talk bout w/them prayer. The importance of it and juss getting down to the basics of prayer. To help start to develop a daily prayer life. So that will be tuesdays lesson.

"It is never a 'waste' running to God it's a waste of time not to...."

So i was talking ot my ol friend xavier this morning online. We were reminisciing on the ol times we had shurred w/some of our other friends. How none of us hang out as a group anymore and we should put something together etc. Anyway, i had randomly brought up bout those couples time he had gone w/me to the events co meetings. Before i got involved in SH, i was trying to find something to do w/my time. I wanted to serve and have fun cuz i was hardly doing anything on the weekends. My other friends were always hanging out w/their other friends they had made. Or they were too busy w/their boyfriends/girlfriends etc. So i randomly decided to try and get involved w/the 21 xl company. After all it seemed pretty fun.

THe meetings were held on monday nites and it was sooooooooooooo filipino time. I think they started @ 8pm and the meeting wouldnt actually 'start' till 10pm. So i was going religously for bout a month to the meetings. THe meetings are pretty hardcore, like errthang in life there's a director/boss etc. I remember he was cussing up a storm and yelling in regards to the promoting of some event. When they go and promote they go all out, its crazy. Then when ii first started to hang out w/SH and then going to the 21 xl meetings, i thought whoa two total opposite groups. Finally, i had to choose to one or the other cuz i couldnt hang w/bof. Bof took up an extradorinary amount of time. Praise God i made the right choice and chose SH.

The point of that story was, i was looking to serve in the wrong place. My intentions of joining 21 xl was thinking, 'this will be fun, get to go to clubs, meet new people, who knows maybe even find a gf.' haha Now that i look backtwo years later, i realized what a waste of time. I look my life now, and i found a passion to serve but this time in the right place. There are no fruits or beneftis with trying to serve in 21xl. Yes, the benefit of getting into their events for free. get into the clubs for free. Though wha good will that do? What fruits will that produce?

Im so glad that i made the choice to serve God rather then sin. The benefits ive received from serving God are the blessings He has given me. Gosh, i would've never thought of myself getting so active in church. The benefits ive received are the really GREAT people ive met. My own community, Servant's Heart & Upper Room. All those other people ive met over the yurrs, like charisse, anthony, gail, leo, mark anthony, toni, cyril, mikee, and the list goes on forever! The friendships ive made w/the different groups and people ive met are the rewards He's given me. And i wont stop...cuz i cant stop...

I made this really good chicken scampi at work today. The garlic i was peeling was getting inside my fingernail and burning. Garlic takes forever to peel, so time consuming. The having to cut it and chop it up into mini pieces. The cream of chicken as the sauce tasted really good. I think next time if i make it, ill use more lemon juice in it. To make it taste a little more tangy and less water. Though errone seemed to like it, ha unless they were juss frontin. I had like 3 different plates of it, though it tastes a lot better when its warmed up. Its crazy to see the ol faces working at albertsons again. I wonder wha happened to those scabs. im sure they got paid off real well.

I had lunch w/francis today, he took me out to rubios. We had a very interesting convo today bout faith. We were talking bout the passion and stuff. He told me learned that during the crucifxion when Jesus cried out, 'My God, my God why ahve you forsaken me." At that moment in time Jesus has taken on the burdens and sins of the world. That moment for once he is apart from God. So then we went on talking and he told me that he learned mormons aren't saved cuz they use the book of mormon. And how in bible it states do not worship false idols. Then he goes, 'do you know wha two things it takes to get to be saved?' So i said yeah, faith and good works. He said, no acceptance and repentance. His pastor taight him that you must acceot Christ first then repeant from your sins. So then i went on to tell him bout faith and good works, obviously he didnt say anythign and was silent. Good convo though, and good lunch too!

I came to SRE briefly to get my class started. It was nice that my neighbors jeanne and mike took my class in. Achie couldnt take over the class cuz she was visiting her friend who juss had a baby. Well i had already made plans to go to the end the qtr. UCI catholc community potluck. So i gave my kids to mike and jeanne for the nite. Bof of our classes are small anyway. Jeanne told me they were doing a whole lesson on the saints tonite. ONe of my confirmation kids has been coming to help me on thurs. the past couple weeks. Anyway, since i was leaving i took him to his friends house. One of my other students who lives right behind sPv. I dindt want the kid walking cuz it was already dark.

So i drop him off and he wants me to go in and see justin(my other confirmation kid). It was so funny cuz my student;s mom invited me into their house. We were talking for a little while. She told me how she was loosing her job cuz the comp got bought out so now its moving to kentucky. Though shes getting severence pay for i think only 11 weeks she said. She's been thurr for 9-10 years she told me. I was like wow! So shes gonna see if thurrs something @ the city of BP she can do. I got bof of my students to go to youf rally, so thas 2 more kids. I love my confirmation kids!! i really do! The mom was asking me how i like teaching, i said i really enjoy it. I learn so much from them. Then when i hurr things like 'i prayed the rosary on sunday.' It makes we want to serve God even more. I love it!

The catholic community potluck was real cool. I ame in as some of them were watching ROTK on bootleg. The only wrong w/the movie was the elvish subtitles were in russian. Thurr was so much food! Ha highlight of the nite was when mike and leo were coming out of the cloest! haha towel fight w/mark anthony, balance beam w/o loosing your balance, ballet drill sgt w/abby. Yelling out 'FIRST POSITION!' The superfiriends love group's parfat, it wsa really good, not too swe3t either. OH! haha mark anthoyn and mike were spitting mints from their moufs. MArk anthony would spit it out and then mike had to catch it in his mouf and then spit it back into makr anthony mouf. haha oh am it was so hilarious. Im telling you, i have the best times at UCI, really i do!

Okay tomorrow since ill be in adoration in the evening, im going ot use that time to read my kids journals and passion mediations. PLanning on going to conffession @ sPc in the afternoon, followed by mass. Get some fish fillet to eat from mcdonalds and then i dont know wha to do in between that time and stations of the cross. I would think after watching the passion catholics would have a storng conviction to go to Stations of the Cross at their parish. I love going to the Stations of the cross errlenten season. Humbles me and reminds me of 'loving until it hurts.'

I found this prayer and i thought it was really cool, so i thought id shurr it w/yall. ITs a prayer to know God's vocation for you.

O Great Saint Joseph, you were completely obedient to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Obtain for me the grace to know the state of life that God in his providence has chosen for me. Since my happiness on earth, and perhaps even my final happiness in heaven, depends on this choice, let me not be deceived in making it.

Obtain for me the light to know God's Will, to carry it out faithfully, and to choose the vocation which will lead me to a happy eternity.

Amen.

Truly this so far has got to be the most frutiful lenten season for me. I've learned so much these past couple months of lent in regards to suffering, forgiveness, humility...etc. I mean yes although these are lessons ive heard over and over again, its still comes to somethng as a blessing to hurr it all over again. To think lent is almost over, in juss wha 4 weeks? Whoa thurr! 40 days i guess isnt that long after all...Tuesday's gospel was the infamous lesson on uncondtional forgiveness and love. One whurr peter asks Jesus how many times must he forgive someone who has hurt them. JEsus said, not 7 times but seventy-seven times.

Fr. paul is funny, he started off his homily with, 'if its any consolation to you guys, i forgive cuz i want to go to heaven.' I've gone through two different sets of forgiveness trials. One whurr i had to let go of a hurt and forgive. Second, when the tables whurr turned and i wanted to be forgiven. Though the second incident came before the first incident. Both trials were a huge burden on my back. I wont explain the incident whurr i had to forgive, ill juss say it was very hard. I had a extremely difficult time letting of go and to forgive uncondtionally. AS much as i wanted to and as much as i had thought id forgiven already, i knew deep inside i was holding on still. Though God's healing of time, i was able to let go of the grudge and learn to truly forgive.

I know first hand wha its like to be on the receiving end. Meaning the end whurr you seek forgiveness. During that trial, God tested my patience and tested my love for him. He took away somethings that were really important to me. With a snap of a finger my world was turned upside down. Yet i understand why He did this. Each nite as i prayed i asked why? why'd he let his happen? Now i know and i thank him for it. It was an lesson we all had to learn on forgiveness. He took away things that meant a lot to me so i can focus on him. So i can put my hands in his hands and say, 'I trust you with all of my hurrt God.'

All of us know forgivenss doesnt come easy, and im sure weve all experience in a difficult time whurr we were tested. Fr. paul said that 'Asked to always forgive, not so easy... not yet impossible. when someone hurts us we need to analyze wha the person is going through? Why is the person reacting in such manner. Often times the person brings their own personal baggage into the situation. First thing to do is to leave it all into the hands of the Lord. Hmm kinda like liwanag's spirit rally theme, 'In the Palm of His Hands.' For those whove seen the passion, think back to the scoruging in the courtyard. That blood spilling, that blood thas stained all over the floor is mercy. That's Jesus forgiving us for all that we've done, cuz Jesus is merciful. So as catholic-christians were invited to be merciful to those who hurt us.

Father said, the best thing to do is remain silent. Jesus was silent and had nothing to say. No one will be believe the sacrafice Jesus made for us if we are constantly arguing, fighting w/one another. If were in it to win the battles, are we living out Christianity? What was real powerful is when fr. said something from wha gandhi once said. 'I would be christian, but no one seems to listen to what their master says.' Whoa thurr, meaning how can people see the face of Jesus through us if all we do is fight? Fr. said, someone once said, 'the problem with christianity is no one bothers to live it.' Ahh...The point is we are called to love until it hurts. Juss as blessed Teresa of calcutta once said, "To be true love, love has to hurt...Jesus said, 'Love one another as I have loved you.' He loved until it hurt."

So i was reading this really cool 'Life teen' email that i get weekly. The verse they chose to talk bout came from Romans 8:18, "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us." Okay so i know ive already talked bout suffering in a previous entry, but as i read this i was like whoa so true. Bible geek discussed how when we suffer sometimes we feel like we cant take the pain anymore. I guess maybe thas wha happens when people want to committ suicide, they feel as if they cant handle the pain.

Bible geek gave the analogy of the golden gate bridge in frisco. I didnt even know the darn thing was built in 1938 under FDR. I guess not too long after it's grand opening, a 75 mile wind came rushing through. Now this bridge was supposedly built to handle such incidents liek the wind. WEll it ended up bending the bridge over in twelve in and a half feet out of alignment, but the structure of the bridge was held together. Many people were stunned by wha had happened and some even wondered why it didnt fall apart. The engineer knew that this bridge, would be challenged by unforseen elements. His job in creating the strucute was to make sure it would not break.

Coincidently, thas the same way God is w/us. We are built to withstand 'stroms' and 'winds.' Even the ones that seem soo strong that you feel like youre gonna get knocked down. Yet whie going through all this suffering, you may think, 'agh, i really dont know how much more i can go through of this...' Great thing is, GOd knows wha we can and cant handle. Though God built us to withstand the storms of life, the trials and tribulations. Point is we dont really believe that we're strong enough to handle all this. We're right though, we're not strong enough, but through His spirit dwelling in us, his love given to us, were a lot stronger then we think we are.

Some of us forget that God knows whas going on in our lives. Sometimes we swurr though, he doesnt have a clue cuz we keep suffering. THough God really knows all the suffering were going through. God wont give you anymore suffering then wha He thinks you can handle. He wont let the storms of life, the trials, the crosses we have get to you. He doesnt want you to break, so call on Him. Were reminded though that sufferings and trials in this life are NOTHING compared the glory and joy that God has in store for those who trust in Him and in His promise. Christ is the bridge between hurr and eternity. We were formed and molded into His image one that might get 'misaligned' from tiem to time by the empty promises of this world, but God will not allow you to fall apart.

Anyway, i woke up feelin real tired from studying late the nite before. As i was walking up the sturrs to class ha i felt i was dragging myself. Then i heard real loud, 'jfish!' as i looked up i saw arisa coming down the sturrs. She pretty much woke me up after that. Did the whole skool thing, this guy got the wrong scantrons for class. How sad, so my classmate and i gave him one of our owns. Thas why its always good to curry extra scantrons for those who dont have any. I always try to curry extra scantrons, cuz thurrs always someone bound to need one. Neeeeeeyyyyyoooooow!

Work was pretty cool, i came in got stuff ready for the apt. complex and i left. The manager forgot to keep the dang gate open for me! agh! which is really werid, this is the first time since ive been thurr that the gate wasnt open. Normally, the gate is already open by the time i get thurr. ITs one of those gates whurr you gotta have the remote to get in and out. So when it came ot get out, i had to wait for someone to buzz me out. agh! Anyway as i was making arts and crafts w/the kids, i started to get real sleepy. We were coloring st. patrick's day stuff and i was kinda closing my eyes off and on. Whoa thurr! So i asked one of the little girls to go get her jump rope. She comes back w/her jump rope and that was my energy booster. I started jump ropping and i was wide awake after that. I love jump roping its so much fun!

Came home ate dinner, then ran an in errand in cerritos. Had to go pay for the celly bill. I dont like mailing it, so i go pay it in person by debit currd at the store. Its a lot more convient that way. Did that then i was talking to julie on the way to the soratorios. Got thurr and we had our 1st Purpose Driven Life bible study. We read 'popcurrn' style! haha remember that when you were a kid? YOu start reading a paragraph then you popcurrn or 'choose' someone else to read next. That game always showed favortism cuz i always picked the fast readers, so we can done w/it. Then the discussion was really fruitful. WHoa! so i heard thurr was more drama @ 1215 sPv mass yesterday. SOmeone had locked errone inside the chapel w/rope. They tied doors down w/rope! So they had to go out and go all around to untie the rope. Then afterwurrds, 3 peoples currs got vandalized. Their currs were scratched w/the word 'evil.' Talk bout crazy stuff going during lent! My boss was telling me that something like that were currs were getting vandalized at their parish was going down. It was to the point the priest had security monitor the purrking lot. How sad is that!

Today, St. Patrick's day marks two memorable occassions for my familly. One of them 3 yurrs ago today my grandma past away of cancer. This is my grandma on my dad's side. Oh man she suffered a lot of pain. Yet, she knew was in store for her but didnt complain. Towards the end when she was really suffering, she was forgetting people. She couldnt remember her own family and who they were. I didnt get to see her suffer, but errweek my aunt would send emails explaining her condition. The times when i read she had good days, i would think she would get better. THough her condition only got worse.

Maan i'll never forget that day i found she was gone. It was on a sunday afternoon and my aunt from minn. calls. I picked up the phone and she asked how i was. I said i was good, she then asks if she could talk to my dad. I give the phone to my dad and she breaks the news to him. Once he told all of us, it was so hard, i couldnt stop crying. Wow it was hard for me, and i ended up having to go try and finsih my group project afterwards. My parents ended up flying ot minn. for the funeral. IT was too hard for my sister and i to skip skool. I had felt real guilty cuz the last time she was out hur in cali, couple months before she died i didnt spend a lot of time w/them. Praise God for her wonderful soul though. Im sure she's constantly praying for me and the family each day.

The other thing is wha 5 yurrs ago, something like that. Anyway, my aunts dalamation had past away. I came home on a fri. after skool and i found only my dad home. I asked whurr errone was and they told me at my grandmas. He told me that 'pepper' my aunts dog had gotten ran over by a curr. I dropped my stuff and i ran right over to my grandparents house. I got thurr and errnoe was crying. My aunts dog was deaf, and i guess she ran out of the house when someone was walking in. She ran into the street and got hit by a curr. They rushed over her to the animal hospital and it was too late.

So thas why st. patricks day is always a sorrowful, yet joyful holiday for me. Ah i need to finish studying, so i'll continue to blog later...hopefully.

Well i didnt achieve my goal of going to adoration @ savio. However...i was able to go to the blessed sacrament twice today and read most of the entries. I felt who else better to shurr their walks w/GOd, then God himself? IF thurrs anyone who knows what these kids have been through, its him. SO many of the kids have really grown in their faith the past year. From finding a deeper relationship w/God to wanting to get to mass on sundays. Its truly a HUGE blessing to have them in my life. Theyre so funny to be around and they always make me smile. A lot of them said they want to be able to pray the rosary errrdya and know more about the teachings of the church. Some wanted to be able to read the bible errday. The best part was some said theyre now going to mass every sunday and actually participate in the liturgy. Some of them mentioned how youf alpha has impacted their lives for the better, Praise God!!!!

Skool was juss another manic monday! I tell you mondays are so hard waking up early in the morning. I was hoping it was gonna be blazin' hot again. Its nice knowing i dont have to wake up @ 615am juss so i can leave the house @730am to find purrking. Ive noticed the parking lot whurr i purrk thurrs more available purrking. So ive been leaving @ like 740-745am, waking up @ 7am. I find purrking easily, with no problems! Thas the best! Praise God! Some of my classmates were talking bout the 'Passion of Christ.' I was quite interested in what they had to say. ONe guy mentioned how he was getting pissed @ the guards. How Jesus was already suffering enough. that they should stop. Another guy said he saw it on bootleg and his cousin got. I thought oh maan...haha well i shouldnt say anything cuz my sister borrowed bootleg. HOWEVER...i didnt watch it, i juss previewed to see wha the filming was like. Anyway, got out of lab early, and i was able to visit Jesus to read more reflections.

Work was chill i guess as it always is on a monday. The kids were doing this talk show and i was the host. The topic was 'kids who dont behave.' They started to get out of hand a little bit later, but i guess they had fun. Our parks and rec commissioner looooooves my mom and her quilting class. They got like 10 ladies in thurr sewing away worknig on making different types of quilts. My mom enjoys it, i guess she finds a joy in serving to others. Must be whurr i get it from! THen i was talking to the mayor and he kinda over sees the orange county childrens theatre. He was telling me bout some of those kids. WOw they have so much talent! ANyway, so mr. mayor told me that were gonna have a shopping center and new homes coming. Theyre gonna clear out that payless on beach and that whole area. It'll be cool to see wha will develop.

Afterwards, i had driven over to the Lbc to meet up w/mikee. I love this guy, he's really d0pe. He was burning me a CD from the lft retreat. Well were having a hard time cuz he was doing it off of windows media. He ended up juss letting me borrow the CD. Really good CD, imma make copies for some of you guys. They sound like a filipino r & b group singing praise & worship songs. I like it though! I think youll like it too! ANyway, him and i were juss kinda chillin watching the laker game and talkin bout our weekends. Him and cyril make a really good couple. They're such great people, im blessed ot have become a lot closer to them.

Then i was talking on the phone to leslie from SOL for a while. She was kind enough to come down to the bpc on sat. for confession. I called up all my kids and told them if they could to meet up for a confession purrty. Well i couldnt be in two places @ once, so i asked leslie to come down. Praise God that she's so dedicated to the kids. Im really glad GOd had allowed her to become my SRE aide. She's such a kind person, and its also a blessing to have gotten to know her more. I hate to sound like a broken record...but really i do live w/the communion of saints hurr on earf. Really i do, no joke yo. To me thas a such a huge blessing to have and oh man i cant thank God enough for them.

Came home and i was talking ot charisse for an like hour on the phone. YOu know she was in miai since wed. nite. So obviously we had A LOT of catching up to do. See you figure we talk on a daily basis whether its via email or cell, we communicate. So her being gone for 5 days, thurrs a lot i had to catch her up on. Besides that i wanted to hurr bout her trip to miami. She told me she felt as if she was in a 'p.diddy' video. Blang errwurr you went on the beach. She told me bout beach purrties they had and how i guess beyonce and jay z were in town. The catholic church thurr was nice she told me. IT was called St. Patricks, i wonder if the priests were augistians! ha ANyway, she told me how the homily was really good bout the sacrament of reconilication. The priest was emphasizing how when you go, you should go w/a sincere effort from trying not to repeat the same sins. I guess she told me in the homlily people would ask fr. for future absolution for the sins they know/think they'll committ. Agh, no advance absolution! He told me no, whas the point of being absolved of your sins if you know youre going to committ them again. Good stuff!

After hurring bout her trip it made me want to take a break myself. So it looks like ill be seeing vegas before the fall! I guess this will be v 2 and 3/4 for me haha Im looking at the 2nd to last weekend in april. Charisse and i decided that well go to vegas. Then i guess whoevever else wants to go to they can hop in on the fun. Hopefully it'll work then i can my craving for vegas buffets over with! MMMmM! i was telling her bout mandalay bay buffet! oOOh i love their buffets soo yummers! Then the rio seafood buffet oooooooooh yeah! Im excited! Vegas hurr i come again!

By the time sunday evening comes i feel like my body is juss so heavy. Too bad our spa isnt working cuz it really comes in handy. Especially during long days or long weekends. OH you know whatd be nice, a bathtub spa! Ive seen one of those before! In our time shurr in kauai, we had a shower that would walk into the bathtub. The bathtub was pretty big, could fit at least 2 people. Then it had jets and errthang, talk bout relaxing! Praise God for hot water! haha

I had gone back to anaheim hills for the later part of the afternoon to finish up the commercial. I guess the camera guy needed to get some close up shots. So i drove back up thurr and got thurr @ like 315pm. I was getting real impatient cuz the guy didnt come till like about 5pm cuz he had work and stuff. I wanted to try and make it to the youf mass @ st. paul but i figured it was impossible to get bof done. A lot less people then yesterday, but we still accomplished wha was needed. Praise God, i really hope that it turns out the way i envisioned it to be. It was getting a bit nippy when i left the hills. This time i didnt get lost! wooO!

Had gone straight to sPv mass @ 630pm made it in perfect timing. Leaving bout like 15 min left to spurr. Fr. Paul was the celebrant for mass, so thas always good stuff. I guess that was his first time being on the 630pm mass. Normally fr. kevin doesnt put him on that mass for some reason...ANyway, he got many compliments after mass on his homily. One lady went up to him and said, 'thank you in believe in the true presence.' I think she was referring to how during eucharistic prayer how he holds up the bread. This is one of the many things i like when he does mass. When it says 'this is my body which has been given up for you...' THen he hold up Jesus and makes sure errone sees it. Not juss hold up and put it down. Same thing w/the chalice. Praise God thurr are still a lot of catholics who know in the true presence.

After mass i had gone to confession since i wasnt able to go before hand. YOu know at sPv we have a luxury of having wha 6 priests? SO many other parishes have 2 if theyre lucky. So it sucks that we only have 1 priest doing reconciliation. I was told fr. kevin doesnt want to have 2 priests doing confession. Whenever i go, thurrs always a long line. Often times many people dont get to go cuz of the lack of time. So it sucks for those people who are in sin and really want to cleanses. PRaise God for other parishes like st. peter chanel who have confession all the time. I think thas so cool knowing i can go to confession any day of the week over thurr.

I was trying to work on taht yahoo mail all morning long. I was trying to send a spirit games email from thurr and it wasnt working. I hate webmail they can make it so complicated. Thas why i like AOL so easy to use, no wonder its #1. haha Thur was some type of problem when i was sending the mail. I was getting frustrated cuz i couldnt figure out wha the stupid problem was either. I guess forget that idea. Looks like imma stick to sending out email to the commitee by my regular email.

Ang and i are gonna put on a performance thurs. nite. Ha were gonna do the usher song 'yeah.' Ha! i love that song, it has the tightest beat to it. The chrous is so cathcy too, cmon now, 'yeah.' Take that and rewind it back...isda got the beat that makes your booty go...The other song i like too cuz its cathcy is 'get low.' Those are like total clubbin booty shakin, grindin' songs. OH you knwo wha song is song thats so fun to dance to, is 'get busy.' Shake that thing...you know the sean paul song. I heard this song on the way to anaheim hills but i dont know who it was. Its pretty tight song too. I hate when they play songs and you wait till the end of song waiting for the title or the artist and they dont tell you!

Hopefully, if im not too tired after work, id like to really go to adoration and read my kids reflections. I shouldve done that this weekend, or rather this week. I shouldve actually done that on fri. I hate when i plan to do things and i dont get it done. Thas wha happens when i let laziness get in the way. So that guy matt the leader of SCA and the one whos putting together spirit games commericial is a cool guy. He drove 2 hours out 2 days in a row to put together the commercial. That foo lives up in like 818 area code, so i know its a drive for him coming ot the OC.
He comes and drives out to all the spirit games meeting, from carson to the OC to temple city. Thas a spirit of a true leader...praise God

Looks like i got my week made out for me! In between all those 'extra curricular activites' i got skool and work. Ha Praise GOd that he keeps me going and moving. Maybe thas why i get so impatient czu im always on the go that i forgot wha rest means. I may not even go to the thing on sat. Father told me he was only going to stop by for a bit. We'll see how the week goes, Praise God that i have fridays off! I love having fridays offf, they are the best!

Oh my long day for me my eyes are telling its time to shut down for the day! I know im not insominaic thas fo sho. When im tired, im tired and wont even bother trying ot fight my sleep. Remember when you were a little kid, when it was time to go to bed, youd fight your sleep. Or when you use to have 'bedtimes.' Mine use to be @ 8pm, then when i got a little older it was extened to 830pm. Then in jr. high it was 9pm, then when i got to hs, bedtimes kinda drifted away. Ha now i go to sleep whenever i want to.

Slept in again till like 1030am and it felt so nice and relaxing! I love sleeping especially after having a busy day or going ot bed real late. Then falling asleep so peacefully, ahh yes! MY curr was up for an oil change so i took curr of that. Afterwards went to the have spy wash my curr. I ran into tito tom and tita cora over thurr. I didnt know that adam from youf alphas dad was that one guy john something. The guy that looks samoan or is saomaon, very cool guy. There wasnt that many of them spyers washing currs. As many kids that they have it was quite suprising.

Afterwards i had gone to the hills of anaheim to check out an sCA meeting. Students Catholics in Action as they call it. Ive been interested in checking out a meeting since the beginning of the yurr. I got confused the stupid mapquest directions as i exited the freeway but soon found my way back. I also went cuz they were filming the spirit games commercial. The meeting was at reirich's friend, karens house. This is one nice spirit filled house. I mean even as you walk up to the doorway, theres crosses all around the posts. We prayed the chaplet of divine mercy in their extentsion. Wow this extension was filled w/statues, pictures all these holy items. I tell you the only thing missing was the blessed sacrament. Id love to have something like that at my house! i tell you the room was filled top to bottom w/errthang you can think of. Good place to really sit and meditate in prayer, especially if you cant sleep in the middle of the nite.

The intentions were to film the spirit games commercial at the park, but cuz of time we didnt get to. So we juss filmed it in the resedential neighborhood, which turned out really good. The theme was to go along with the whole verse from ephesians 4:4-6 ,"There is one body, one spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God father of us all." IM really excited to see the outcome of the commercial. The guy who filmed the commercial for us, has some hardcore work! Wow its really good! He made this whole samuari type film which kinda looked like last samuari sort of. So i gotta email him the stuff i want on the commercial now as far as texts wise. It was coo cuz he was real easy to work with, went with whatever we wanted.

It was real crazy cuz it turned out that ive met majorty of the people thurr at one time or another. One guy use to work w/my sister at anchor blue! This other guy i had met at one of the sly meeting. Then ive already met karen a while back when reirich first joined the community. Real cool group of kats, very welcome towards me. We played that one game, 'baby i love you.' I dont know wha the names called. Though i remember playing it @ pentectost pinic or eljiahs purty. WHere you go around and say something like so and so if you love will you please smile for me? Then you say w/a straight face looking back at them, 'baby i love you but i juss cant smile.' It was pretty fun then we played the currd game mafia. Though they did it differently, as does errone else who plays that game.

Then i went over to sPv had helped cleaned up the kitchen from the st. patricks dance. Hmm...its an irish holiday yet the hall was filled w/filipinos! haha Yeah i had helped clean up a bit, wasnt too much work, juss mopped the floors. Then sat and chatted w/fr. paul forever. Man i tell you that guy can talk. Alright so charisse will be coming home tomorrow evening! yay!! It wasnt so bad after all hahaha jk So i had a lot of fun today, real tired though. I think it was driving to anaheim hills, i always get lost in that area.

Pretty crazy i was juss thinking bout deaf this past week, no im not thinking of killing myself. Wed. nite i had a couple of hmm 'close calls,' well juss say. It was skurry cuz i havent made it to confession yet this week. I try to go on a weekly basis, so tomorrow i have to go. Anyway, i was juss thinking of how dirty my soul is right now, and wha would happened if i died right now. I think it was a while back ago bout that 15 yurr old kid who's body juss quit working on him. He dropped dead right then and thurr, only 15 yurrs old too! Kinda convicting to hurr this cuz we always think thurrs gonna be tomorrow. We procrastinate on things thinking we have tomorrow to do it, yet...wha happens if today is your last? Wha happens if you dont wake up to see tomorrow?! So i guess thas why they say to try and live errday as its your last.

Juss my luck today that '1215 mass girl' wasnt thurr today! oh why?! ANd on mondays i cant make it to mass cuz of class. Hey i made a rhyme! So i guess i must wait till tues. comes. You know i wonder wha sunday mass she goes to. Im assuming 1215pm mass, the 915am mass has been getting pretty packed. Before id never see people stand along on the back of the church. Praise God now that i do see it! Fr. Grace had a really good homily this afternoon. He did back to back mass two days in a row. Thurs. and friday, while fr. ray did tues. and wed.

SO father grace's talked bout working on building up from the past. Sometimes things dont work out for a certain reason, yet later on as we look back on that past we praise God for it. Meaning that were glad that wha we wanted never happened for one reason or another. OFten times too fr. mentioned that we hate to bring up the past, we try to hide it. Yet the past is who we are he said and its something that shouldnt be forgotten. We use our past as a building block to build on the future, a whole learning process. Learning from the past to work on a better tomorrow. I know i have many things in my past that ive learned from. Then there are things that i had wish i hadnt done. YOu cant change the past, cuz its in the past. Why bother to dwell over those mistakes? Use it as a tool for your future. Fr. put in a better way, its juss my bible diary is in the curr.

The dance tonite was pretty cool, though it juss seemed forever long! They had it from 6pm-1130pm. Normally HS dances dont even start till 7pm. They had an okay turn out for their 1st dance. We had a lot of western and rancho hs kids come out. The dj was tight, i was feelin the music! I chapperoned going around w/my big flash light making sure no 'grinding' or 'freaking' of the sort was going on. Ha when i did see some of that stuff, id shien the light on them and say, 'whoa, whoa, whoa thurr! A little too close...' They played the 'yeah' song and it got errone going. I was soo tempted to dance, well i really wanted to! Some of the kids were asking me to dance with them. I sooo wanted to! SOooooooooo many wallflowers though! haha

When that song 'get low' came on they muted the chorus purrt and the kids were yelling it in. haha To the windooooooooow to the waalllll....THey played 'it aint no fun' too! i remember when i was in HS they use to play that song at allllll dances. You cant have a dace without that song playing. I caught these guys gambling in the bathroom playing 'dollars.' Its a pretty addicting game ive played it before. YOu fold your dollar a certain way then you and your competition throw it down while calling it in the thurr. IF it lands on the side you called it on, then the dollar is yours if not you lost it. Its pretty addicting like i said, cuz once you win one time, you want to keep on going!

After pretty much most of the kids were gone and the lights went back up it was my turrn. They played some ol skool jams like 'head over heels' and 'scrub.' Oh man those were the jams back in my HS days when i was still in HS. It was d0pe!! It made me want to go clubbin' afterwards! ha the dj told me he deejays at like these two clubs, one in LA and one in lakewood. So he told me he could hook me up for free when i want to go. Haha So whos down to go clubbin' w/me next sat? haha jk I havent been to a club since like wha jan 01? The last club i had gone to was the ghett0 arena in LA.

I felt bad a little earlier, but yet i said PRaise God. I was talking to one of my students from confirmation online. He was absent on tues. so i told them we were having a 'confession purrty' tomorrow @ 330pm. I told all my kids that on tues. and i called them all today to remind them. Anyway, he told me he wasnt gonna go cuz he promised his friend hed be at her party early. This wya she had someone to talk to. Well i was a little dissapointed at him cuz he straight out said no he was gonna go. Then i ended up throwing the 'god currd' at him. He got upset at me for it. So then i apologized to him and said i didnt meant to make him upset, juss wanted him to realize how important confession is. He told me he had a long day and it was okay. Anyway, the reason why i say praise God for it is cuz the convo ended like this: COnfirmation student: ill make sure im there.. no buts about it YOu cant help but to say praise God!

My day is jam packed tomorrow, so many things going on. I gotta be in anaheim for an SCA meeting, then work to put together the spirit games commercial for youf rally. Also my cousin's birfday party in HB. Followed by a bonfire later on that nite, then i gotta be @ church @ 8pm to be part of fr. brennan's clean up crew for his dance. ANyone want to help?! Im almost tempted not to show up...but thas not cool. Although i didnt really committ to it, fr. breannan does help me out when i need it. So i guess it only makes sense i return the favor for him. As much as i want to say oh why?! cuz imma be on my feet all nite again..ill say instead 'Praise God!'

So thurr was more drama today @ sPv mass @ 1215pm...haha jk! I had gone to 1215pm again, thas my daily mass time now. Except for on mon. cuz i have class @ 12pm. Anyway, after mass was over i was looking to see if that lady was thurr. IT would have seemed that she didnt show up to mass 1215pm mass this afternoon. Maybe she felt uncomfortable after being put on blast by father ray. Anyhow, i got anotha mass sturry to tell yall today. Well for a while now @ 1215pm mass ive noticed this girl thurr. She seems to only go @ 1215pm cuz ive never seen her @ 515 or 8am. Well i saw her ash wednesday mass @ 8am, moving on...

This girl id say is at least maybe wha 19-20? Young adult age something like that. She didnt go to mass yesterday so she missed the drama! haha Oh yeah and she has the whole mulan look too! hah good stuff, good stuff! So the point of this whole story is that well ive been wanting ot invite her to prayer meeting. IT alwyas helps to bring in another soul to help pray w/the community. Though i havent asked cuz ive been skurred. ha ITs hard to tell if she looks friendly or not. Yet, i guess thas juss me being ignorant. I was almost gonna ask today ha but she kinda boned right out. So i figure if i see her tomorrow then i shall go and ask her.

Work was tight today, pretty busy too. I was 'acting director' for the day. The supervisory staff had gone out to a Parks & Rec conference for the day. So i was in charge, though it doesnt really mean anything at all. haha Not like im giving life threatining decisions i gotta deal with. Although it was pretty busy watching the front, cleaning, getting my supplies ready, and showing this community service kid wha to do. Ha yeah so thurrs this community service kid whos like 14. I think he juss started this week.

Anyway, i asked him wha he was doing community service for. Normally, we only get kids who do community service cuz they need for probation. He told me something bout the cops thought him and his friends were trying to steal toilet paper from the bafroom. Something like that, i said oh okay. I like when we get those kids cuz they do all the cleaning for us. The washing dishes, mopping etc. The work we dont like to do they do. Ha after he was done w/errthang while waiting for his mom to come, i caught him checking his email. He kinda jumped and got real defensive saying, 'im juss checkin my email is that cool?' haha i said yeah thas coo.

Tomorrow im working were having our 1st teen dance. Its a mardi gras dance being put on by the youf action alliance. A committee of hs teenagers who come up w/events/activities to help the kids their age in the community. So this is their first event being put on. The ol skool 'legend entertainment' will be providing dj services for us. My job along w/errone else is making sure the kids are getting to 'low.' SO i gotta walk around w/flashlights and if i cant walk in-between the couple dancing, then they gotta split apart.

I guess there wont be any freakin' or grindin' goin on. HA! i remember last yurr when jeanne and i stopped by my work cuz my ol hs was having their sadies thurr. Oh man, we snuck into the hall and oh man can we say SIN! Ha it brought back soooooooooooo many HS memories of HS dances. The black people gettin all freaky freaky dancing while soaked w/sweat. Ahh yess...it should be fun tomorrow nite...hopefully. Maybe i'll be able to get one at least one slow dance...JOKING!

Im not going to start this on a daily basis but imma do it for todays entry. So check it, i met Jesus twice yO! The first time was through the eyes of the counselor at work. I felt bad for this kid cuz he was sitting out waiting forever while his parents were talking to the counselor. She's a really cool down to earf type of person. IN fact she was thurr while we were setting up for SH cafe. Anyway, i guess she was telling me how the kids step dad never gives him anything. That he all he does is talk ish on the kid. Tries to shelter him from errthang, not letting him get out and do things. IT seems the family is real messed up, the mom ran off and got w/the step dad. The step dad is the real controlling dominant type of person, i guess he wasnt even letting his wife speak or finish her sentences. On top of that he doesnt even want her to get job cuz she'll end up spending the $$ on the kid. Then he said whos gonna watch your kids?! He told her, 'im not.'

Wow how sad, this poor young adolescent searches for attention in all the wrong places. I guess he's sexually active, he's on probation for stealing a cell phone etc. I was telling maria, how do they expect this kid ever to grow, if all they do is knock him down? I told her it doesnt take much to know that he's looknig for support in the wrong places. I tell you some parents are not fit to raise children. The way the kid is now, is not his fault its the parents. Its how you raise the children and teach them. Its juss like how that one song goes...'I believe the children are the future, teach them and let them lead the way, show them all the beauty they possess inside, give them a sense of pride...' Thas why i like working w/the youf a lot cuz they are the future...

2nd time i met Jesus was through sandy cousins. MAan shes been SRe director since i was going through the program! Praise God that she still is there making that committment. I really admire her for all that she does. Im sure its not easy, but yet w/His grace she makes is possible. Anyway, i was volunteered by fr. brennan to be the 'clean up' crew for his st. patricks dance. Ive never been to one before, and i really wasnt interested at all in going. But i guess it seems as if i have no choice. Yes ill admit my original reaction was 'agh...no.' followed by an 'oh why?!' Then i reminded myself its the time of lent, less of me, more of Him. I was jokin around w/el juego, fred, and babyvee. I said ill tell father, look well make a deal hurr. You help 'plug' our music min. back in and i'll clean up the dance. haha

Sandy overheard me saying this and she explained how its not so much the instruments, but its the speakers. The amps itself cuz it pierces through the walls and downsturrs so errone could hurr it. Which makes it hurrd for people to concentrate on wahtever. We told her how we were told we had to go 'unplugged.' She brought up how maybe we could use room d. The last room on the end of the SRE building. She let us check the room out and it seemed pretty doable. El juego even went outside to test the noise level and he said he couldnt even hurr the piano playing. It was juss so cool cuz sandy is always supportive w/SH. Always lookin out for us and helpin us out when she can. Praise God for her! So she offered to look into working it out w/the skool. I hope we can use that room and relocate SH. Pray errone that itll work out!

Okay im tired, my hands hurt from typing...Check it, jovie's a trip! I think she thought she was in a chatroom...haha jk

I think imma bold face my quotes from now on. First off charisse is gone to miami for the rest of the week till sun evening. My partner in Christ ha is on a vacation, which she deserves. But whatever am i going to do between now and sun.?! It's gonna be weird not communicating on a daily basis. Ha oh well i guess i'll survive. Im feelin real happy right now, like im actually smiling at this moment while i type. Maybe cuz i juss came back from UCI and whenever i go thurr i juss have a blast! So let me tell you, drama at sPv mass this afternoon! WOw! As of september the whole diocese of orange has new liturgical rules. These are rules all the churches in the diocese have to follow. Well one of the rules is in receieving communion, you can no longer receieve on your knees. The faithful must remain standing and their act of reverence has to be done before your turn to receieve. Alright, so we all understand that first part. Father ray was presidising mass this afternoon, and well if you knwo Fr. Ray you know how he is. One of those people who follow errthang by the book.

This lady comes up to recieve communion on her knees. Fr. Ray had told her she must stand up in order to receieve communion. She tells father No, that rome says she is allowed to receieve communion on her knees. She told him rome said that she has a right to receieve communion this way. Fr. Ray said no you cannot receieve communion like that. If you do not get up than i cannot give you communion. So he asks her are you going to stand up? She still continued to remain on her knees ready to receive communion. Fr. told her okay then i cannot give you communion. She said fine then i'll juss receieve it spiritually then. She moves to the side next to fr. still on her knees praying. Finally after fr. is done giving out communion, he asks her real harshly, 'do you want ot receieve communion or not?!!' She said yes and she ended up getting wha she wanted. Wow...crazy huh!

After mass fr. asked errone to stay for a couple of min. and he busted out a paper stating rules that were changed in the liturgy. He goes on to read all the main points of this church document. He explained that the US Bishops agreed that errone will receieve communion standing. This way we are united with His Body during communion. Then went on to explain as of sept. our bishop implmented these changes in our diocese. Then fr. explained how lay ministers and priests before hand (not at sPv) were denying people Jesus cuz they would not follow the rules. Well the issue was brought up and it became in effect that the priest or lay person still has to give them communion. Despite the fact the action of the faithful is wrong, it would be even worse to deny them holy communion. Pretty much two wrongs dont make a right type deal.

I was quite in shock of her actions during mass. She decided to hold up the whole communion line cuz she didnt want to get up. I never really see a person defy the authority of a priest. And although you may not agree w/wha he says, He is still authority and you have to respect that. So thas the drama that had gone done during mass this afternoon. Fr. Ray was pretty upset at this lady. Which is understandable, i know that feeling of being defied, its not the greatest feeling in the world.

Great time at uci tonite, got thurr in time for praise & worship. A lot of exciting things are taking place next qtr. They have this pre-con coming up in the spring whurr theyre gonna be going ot vegas baby! I so wanna go, but juss to eat the buffets, really i do. Heif called me tonite and told me she was going to vegas this weekend. It was like a random thing her, her bf, and his sister decided to do. WOw, wish i could take random vegas trips. Ive been craving for vegas buffets as of last fri. Lets go on a thurs. and eat the buffets on fri. then come back on sat! If i had a house in vegas id so do that! IM sure id be able to round up a few down peopel to go to.

Saw some of the liwanag folks tonite after yfc meeting. I love my liwanag friends!! Joyice is a trip, i love angfoo! The subject of blogs and xangas came up somehow. Well then angie asked me how many xangas do i read a day? I go through almost that whole list each day to see who blogged and who didnt. Oh heif told me tonite that her sister and her brother in law bought a tapioca express franchise! oooh so heif is gonna manage the joint! I am soo gonna be thurr errday getting the hook ups! Yum taps boba! I havent boba in quite a while too i must say. Went to in n out after yfc meeting, had a nice chit chat w/mark anthony.

That foo is really d0pe, i admire him a lot for his humility. Reminds me of my boss at work, juss how they carry themselves as servants. Not to get served(ha! you got served)but to help serve. I think thas a great quality in a leader is their willingness not to take errthang for granted. To truly beome a disciple and wash the feet of the brothers and sisters. Ha he always makes fun of me cuz i joined SFC first then backed up and joined YFC couple months later. haha fun times! We were talking bout SFC CLP how they had the 'cool' yfc section. Then how the talks were like forever long! haha oh boy...the memories!

I had a great time w/the kids at the apt. complex today. We were jump ropping and i loooooove to jump rope! I was getting my work out on doign that. I learned a new song to jump rope to, 'ice cream sundae cherries on top, whos your bf/gf i forgot...then you start going through the alphabet and whatver letter you mess up is the letter of your significant other. I think i ended up messing up on the letter 'n.' Anyway, it was fun it got the kids all excited and stuff. I always get out of breaf when i jump rope. Though its a really good work out, i should buy one!
